Spring broke after coming home from a Daytona tournament. Couldnt get into the garage. Door was not movable even after releasing emergency latch.Had a company come out long story short could not find the commercial springs needed for this monster of a hurricane door.Broten not only had them but was able to get out first thing in the AM to do the install. Ended up installing 2 for sake of future the other snapping as well.Ronald the tech was AWESOME!! Explained everything was extremely cautious of my property (cars still stuck in the garage) serviced the door, rollers and moving parts and adjusted the door perfectly..Super efficient, professional and courteous. Weve been using Broten since we moved to Coral Springs nearly 30 years ago. They do excellent work when it comes to preventative maintenance as well as major garage door repairs (springs, new doors, etc.). We recently used them to check why there was a loud noise when we opened and closed our door (which we do at least 12x a day between errands, work, etc.) Ronald - our serviceman - was very thorough as he lubricated all of the right areas and ran the motor several times. He said everything checked out except we needed new wheels which he replaced. Now, the door is as quiet as ever. When you find such reliable repair companies, with knowledgeable, friendly staff, I keep their business cards very close in our home files. I had a spring break and it was almost impossible to raise the door(it’s a very heavy hurricane resistant door). I called Broton and the first appointment I could get was in the afternoon the next day. Early in the morning they called and said they could come right out. Great experience working with Broten. They replaced our garage door with impact door a few years ago and then came out recently to check it out for us after it was making some noise. I was impressed how quickly they came out! The tech was friendly and very educational about the maintenance.

Broten came to my home to assess my need for a new storm rated garage door. I wanted the insolated style for utmost protection. I was very happy with the quoted estimate which included the removal and takeaway of the old system and installation of the new one – tracks and all! Also, I love the exterior color of the door panels I chose. One option that needed to be cleared up was whether my new door would require vents at the bottom or not. I didnt think I needed them because my garage has adequate ventilation. This issue was resolved with the City’s Chief Inspector and so we were able to get the ball rolling. Excellent communications with Broten staff via email and phone. I am very happy and thoroughly enjoying my new garage door with outdoor keypad. I should have done this sooner!

Since mid July, a rep came to my home to provide an estimate. He was professional, polite and the price was reasonable so I accepted the offer. I was told that the entire process is 3-4 weeks. I Add a broken garage door and informed the rest of us just because of safety concerns. I was later told 3 weeks after that a signature was in the wrong place, later I was told that something was missing from my information and this was well into 6 weeks. At this point no one could give me any answers but everything is delayed and blamed Covid as many do. 6 weeks later after begging these people to give me some type of information ( no one seems to return any calls ). I am disappointed beyond belief because I thought that after making a 50% deposit, the company would see that i was serious about getting the work done. I would never recommend this company to anyone that I know because of the lack of communication, plus no one takes accountability. I was basically lied to ....Next, I was told via email, that my appointment scheduled for September 21st to have work done and after making multiple calls and leaving messages no one seems to care about attempting to reschedule for a closer date or even if the set in stone date was an acceptableone for me. I wish I knew then what I know now.
