First off: **TONY ROCKS!**This guy is SO helpful to any questions you have and totally gives you a real sense of security the moment you walk in. He had sincere and genuine recommendations that were honestly very helpful. We not only got good deals on our games, but got some awesome accessories for our set up. I would highly recommend signing up for the GameStop Rewards Card, and download the app to your phone to get $5 off every month. Pretty good selection of used games, and of course they have all the new games. They have consoles and accessories in new and in used, so thats a plus. The prices arent as good as you can find online obviously, but getting a used item for 15% less than a new is not really that great to me, so I gave them a three-star. If they can offer better prices for used I would rate it higher, but its easier to just go to Amazon.

Can get your games for $10 cheaper at Walmart. I only go in to look at the selection and see what I want to buy because the boxes arent in locked cases. Staff seems helpful and always asks if I need assistance when Im there.

I dont really shop here often, but they have some game related items, like plushies, that can be hard to find other places. The staff is nice, and the store is usually organized well.

Every time I have gone to this GameStop, it has the smell of mold/mildew.

Store was clean, but empty. Sales associate didnt greet me when entering. Over heard conversation when he picked up the phone while I was in and had no solution for customer needing a controller to work on a tablet. Said he wasnt sure about xbox xbox controller would work and told customer to google it. Good thing I was just browsing and didnt have questions.

I rated 5 stars because I absolutely love Gamestop in general. The store was very clean and the selection was very nice. However, the employees were just somewhere else mentally.

These stores arent what they used to be...However, this is probably the only brick and mortar location that you can visit to shop everything video games. You can count on them for carrying the major titles, and you may get lucky by picking up an obscure classic from the previous consoles generations, but now with Game Pass, Amazon, and other subscription services...I dont find much of a need to go here anymore. I give 4 stars for the staff knowledge, because the guys and gals that work here KNOW gaming.

Didnt have a ps5

A couple of weeks ago I was in the store looking for a Game Stop exclusive Funko Pop. The only store in Florida that had it was Okeechobee, so the gentleman (I believe his name is Tony), asked for it to be shipped here to Port Charlotte. He couldn’t have been more helpful, and always so willing to help. We’re in this store frequently and have never had a bad, or even mediocre experience here. Everyone is always really cool and they know their stuff. Definitely a great place!

Excellent staff that knows games and has a decent selection of wares for gamers of all ages! They are limited in space, but they do manage to make good recommendations on demand, for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

This GameStop store is really busy, they have a huge selection of man Console games and a good Variety of used games.

This GameStop was okay when I visited a few times its good if you want to get your gaming equipment Games Etc quickly my only problem with this GameStop is the customer service that it provides the people that work here can be a bit grouchy and not very helpful sometimes but other than that its definitely a decent place to go if you need some gaming stuff

Its not the biggest GameStop, but at least one employee there (I think his name is Anthony, if he still works there) has a lot of heart! The aisles are narrow due to the overall square footage, but everything is neatly organized and I was able to find games and accessories easily for the most part

Too busy helping someone sell a game system and testing it to check us out which would have been much faster. This is why Amazon is winning 1 staff person cannot do trade ins especially when Lakewood soccer mom doesnt understand what the clerk is trying to say. I left my purchases sitting on the counter.

I order a power supply from the fortmayer store and it has been 2 weeks and I havent get the power supply. I called no ones no twice but three times and I still get the same idiotic person saying that when they get it they will call me...if it was going to take two weeks ...they should of just give me the address of the formayers place and I would of pick up the power supply....i got kids that really want it and are always asking me if I order that power supply or where is it....no..cool.Have some pride in your work.

I mean, you can buy video games there, but it would probably be cheaper and easier to buy online. Also, it smells weird in there.

They are busy cause its the only one in town, but they have excellent customer service.

Usually has a lot in stock friendly and knowledgeable sales people. Price is great sometimes really awesome sales.

My son had a game to return and 1 to trade he had no issues and got games he wanted for a great deal. 4 for 15$ as long as they were 10$ or less

GameStop is amazing along with the nice(some are jerks but eyyyy) staff and good games. Ive been looking for Pokemon games and such and they have every game I want! Its an amazing store and I love it. But one thing Im concerned about are these staff members that dont care how long you wait and will call a friend and have an 24 mins wait. Its cool and fun(for games) place! I suggest going here to get your games and some cute stuffed animals!!!

As good as a game stop can really be. Knowledgeable and friendly staff, havent had any problems in the few times Ive shopped here. Theyre always quick to ask a question or cater to a need to further help.

This Gamestop location is absolutely wonderful, especially since the new management has taken over. Will have to visit more often.

Youre going to basically find the same games and products at any Game Stop, but the service here is great and the store is clean.

Man Im a pro member I bought 2 ps4s 2 ps3s here and hundreds of dollars in games I even called ahead before going there to try to return a game and was told I would get the full value of the game as long as I had the receipt I get there and they try to give me $8 for my game that I spent almost $40 on I was a full fledged member and now Im not happy with them even with all the business I brought them they wouldnt even work with me I am no longer a valued customer and its sad

Bought the new 3dsxl for my daughter this christmas from an employee very knowledgeable in the insurance cost for it. Opened it on Christmas day only to discover it doesnt come with an AC adapter by default. Thanks!

They gave me a clip and it was broken. I never have liked GameStop for their ridiculous prices and autonomous staff members. In my opinion, this is one of the worst GameStops I have ever been to. Expect some good and bad staff here but prices are ridiculous.

I Bought a pre owned game GTA5 yesterday and it does not work, i could not afford the warranty so now im stuck with a game the does not work this is the fourth game in a year that i have boughten from game stop that does not work... Dont you try the games out that people return or sell to see if they are damaged???
