Giving it 2 stars for the food. Very disappointed that most items were out of stock. Items that were marked as available hours later found out at the end, everything on my list was out of stock. Bare shelves. Don’t waste your time going here. Stock updates online and in store are not accurate.

This is the absolute worst location to go to. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The entire experience ruined my families day. To start off, my little daughter has an exemption from wearing face masks, the rest of our family was gladly wearing our masks. I went to the restroom and my daughter waited for me by the door. A staff member angrily approached my daughter, telling her that they refuse to service our entire family and to not bother checking out. My daughter was terrified and didn’t have the chance to explain why she wasn’t wearing a mask. Then, we were ready to check out and my daughter and I went outside to not cause any trouble. My wife (wearing a mask) was told to go to self checkout and not approach anybody. The staff were SO rude, and refused to help her out when she had problems at self checkout. I then returned for a missing part in the dresser we purchased. The same worker who harassed my daughter yelled at me to “step back” when I was simply showing her my receipt. I had to go find what I was looking for myself. I had never been treated so poorly and do not recommend ever coming here. My little daughter is incredibly discouraged and the staff had no right to treat their customers this way.

It was my first time there and it was so cool cause its iconic but so complicated. I was confused for the room and where we could get the items to buy but once you get the hang of it, it feels awesome. I got the hang of it and lead my family to their items and felt accomplished. 😗✌🏾

The restaurant is clean, and handy when you could spend ALL DAY in there. Its truly a super store. Tons of decor ideas that are so clever! Plan on spending at least 4 hours!

Its like a gargantuan maze of furniture madness. Every room is decorated differently. Its spectacular! Go just to walk around even if you dont buy anything.I wish I could live there.

Holy cow!! My first time! Its a good thing there isnt one close to me and that Im travelling.I prefer to buy US MADE, or local, but they have so many items for the kitchen that its hard to resist at those prices.I loved to see all of the modular storage systems that you can customize so well to your needs. The organization products were wonderful and I could see how they could help create a clean and useful work space. I found rolls of good drawing paper, at an excellent price, to use as pattern paper for my sewing projects.Very fun. No real help on the floors.Our cashier was Excellent, Friendly, and had a great people personality. I wish I had gotten her name. My friend took me and I loved it.

This place is ; large, cheaply priced, busy, and chaotic during the prime shopping hours. Come during offtimes and wear good comfortable shoes and eat before you shop cause it does take awhile to go through this store.

Great, interesting, wonderful variety of useful and innovative items. Its just fun to go to IKEA to browse, its even better to go there when you need something! I went to get some new book shelves after having moved just recently. Found exactly what I needed and wanted. The staff at IKEA is outstanding in their knowledge and helpfulness.

Not super excited about the new checkout process, but its okay. I felt like there was a lot less selection available, lots of empty shelf and floor space. I bought a new bag but the checker didnt put anything in it, she didnt bag anything, I would have understood if it had been a used bag but it wasnt.

Please check online before you go all the way to the store, walk and walk and find out everything you wanted to buy is OUT OF STOCK. So, I left empty handed. Grabbed a refreshing soda and a really bad hot dog on the way out.

Fun place to shop and eat in the cafeteria. Remember they dont take returns as readily as Costco. Lots goods and euro snackes.

This is the best place to find strong, stylish, easy to assemble furniture. Easy to get lost in here, but that’s Ok...you might have missed something and find it later. They are very Covid aware and thoughtful about your safety.

IKEA is great for what it is though shopping here is somewhat of a pain as they are massive and difficult to navigate, usually very busy and not very close to downtown so the commute is not my favorite thing to do. I should mention they were out of many things recently, likely due to the pandemic and shipping.

Lots to choose from but it helps to be organized and go early, as it gets crowded quickly. Trust me, wear a good pair of shoes here...its a huge space. Didnt care for most of the faux plants, but great ideas, lots of inexpensive things TONS OF RUGS, which I appreciated and fair pricing.

Glad to see they’re enforcing masks :) had an order for pick up. Order it the day before, and it was ready for me by the next morning. The pickup area is in the back, away from everything and there were plenty of spots. The “check-in” feature was also very nice and allowed you to see how many people were ahead of you. Received my order in under 10 minutes. Very friendly customer service.

Always out of stock of literally anything I am interested in buying. No delivery options for anything. Whats so hard about shipping via UPS or FedEx?!

Low inventory, a lot of items were sold out. Shelves are empty. They must still be experiencing supply chain issues. Left with less than half of what I was looking for. Couldnt find any kettle, shower curtain liner, or window frosting/film.

Usually love IKEA -- especially for bookcases! But with COVID it seems like the inventory is about 40% of normal... Id recommend checking online to see if what you want is in stock before making the trip. And theyre especially low on dressers.

First time at any IKEA. Im not real impressed. We did a great deal of walking through stuff I wasnt interested in then walked down stairs to find what we wanted. Lots of cheap stuff and some stuff that looks attractive.

Ive always liked their merchandise. But Im walking around with a sore back and sore knee and they make it next to impossible to find my way out. I just wonder around and around trying to find my way out and getting more and more frustrated. The way theyre laid out makes it so that I shop there as seldom as possible.I know its meant so that people can see all their merchandise, but when I want to leave to go to the bathroom, I hate it. They should Mark the way out so that youre not trapped. If you like escape rooms you should be right at home here.

Love the way the store is set up and how they stage things. Lots of cool items. The pizza slices were good and priced great.

I love IKEA, I only buy certain items but prices are normally very competitive.I also enjoy getting a few items from the market when I go in. This time I tried some sweedish candies and also got a frozen cake which was pretty good.My only complaint from this visit is the restaurant, the quality was nowhere near the past. On top of that their machines were down and you had to buy bottled drinks at a much higher price.

I probably come here more for pear cider and little useful things like baskets and scented candles than actual furniture, and its always hot and stuffy. With that food they sell i would expect it to be at least a little temperature controlled. I come here a lot but I wear my workout clothes because I know Im gonna sweat a lot. Can we talk about better AC?

Ever the fun shopping experience, IKEA did not disappoint today. Friendly, helpful staff. They are still out of some random items but its certainly better stocked than even 5 months ago, when we last visited.

Not too crowded in week days. We felt safe shipping in Ikea Portland as people wore masks on and followed guidelines. In-store dining was great. There are plenty of space too keep distance.

I mean its IKEA. Lets pretend for a second you havent been there.Its a furniture wonderland from Sweden, where they sell and provide solutions for small, medium, and large living. They have an array of choices for a wide budget range.Aside from that, they also have a cafe/restaurant that provides target healthy food choices. Also has a small market for you to buy simple groceries.Its IKEA.

Great place to visit on a hot or rainy day. Very family friendly! Great food and great shopping experience. Be prepared for a lot of walking and potentially long lines at check out.

Online it shows everything except the little knickknacks are out of stock. For months now. I won’t waste a trip to the store just to see another out of stock tag on the furniture they are displaying.

Ive had a hard time finding employees who are willing and able to help me find what Im looking for while shopping here.Then theres the huge line when its time to pay, often taking over ten minutes of waiting to get up to a register.On the plus side, it can be a wonderful source of kids toys and furniture, and the kitchen department has some really useful pieces.

Youll likely need a snack to sustain you on your odyssey through the bowels of this titanic trading house, so stop for a meal in the surprisingly decent cafeteria, or grab a hot dog at the mini-mart on the way out the door.Not much can I say that hasnt been said already, but I will add one annoyance Ive encountered on my recent visits: many items are currently not available, even though they are on display in the showroom. Im sure this is due to COVID-19 impacting the supply chain somehow, in a manner I cant fathom. I specifically went in for a couple of items the other day, and although I found both during my walkthrough, neither was stocked in the warehouse below. The labels on each item clearly stated temporarily unavailable, which saved me a search, but left me shaking my head at the strangest experience at an IKEA, ever: walking out empty-handed.

The restaurant is not as packed with options as it used to be, which is of course a let down for a long time shopper like myself. However, it was all delicious! The cafe is open downstairs too, both close at 6pm! Will say that some employees are unnecessary sassy, Ive had multiple employees meet me with an attitude, not even about me, but I can feel how much they dont like their job.

Found what we came for. Always enjoy browsing around, but the pandemic supply line situation is causing more items to be missing and some shelves to appear emptier. Still a good visit..

Best place for affordable furniture. Prepare to assemble and sometimes be frustrated. But that’s what ikea is. Clever Swedish place that’s unlike other places. That’s why it’s successful. The maze may feel annoying but don’t be a mouse, take the shortcuts and outsmart it if you’re not a fan. Most of all, enjoy and grab some meatballs while you’re there.

We had fantastic help from Ellen in kitchens. Planned, paid for and set up delivery of our Montana kitchen...all in one trip. Amazing!!

Edit: So their stuff is so good and affordable I rented a truck to go get it.. For whatever thats worth, and I did get my delivery fee back.I ordered a bed and a couch a month ago while it was in stock and was told it would be delivered today only to find out that they sold my items to someone else while they were waiting to be delivered and I can not cancel my order even though they cant give me a definitive timeline as to when my $1000+ order will be delivered.They took $1000 from me and wont give it back and wont send me my items.

Bought an item at 915am that I had to pick up at the external warehouse. Everyone that helped me kept saying it would be a quick pick up because it was early. What they forgot to mention is the external warehouse doesnt open until 10:30 😐

Do not ever use the delivery method! You are liable to be swindled out of receiving all your items.The one time I tried delivery, they failed to send most of the (about 10) things I ordered. So I called (and put on hold for who knows how long) and they put in a reorder. Seems simple enough.The reorder arrives...and still doesnt contain everything. Once again I call and am told that it will arrive in multiple shipments (even though this was never explained). Then they say the last thing is on its way in just a few weeks.Trusting this, I wait and then get a notice that the delivery was successful (it wasnt). By this point I had already called about three times and am worn out trying to figure out whats going on.Weeks pass and still nothing. I call once more and this time am told that its too late to resolve this issue and its my fault for not calling again in time. This is despite having already been told the item was on its way when that notice was sent! That is completely contradictory. How many times can customers be expected to call to get IKEA to honor the same order?Nearly five times total I had to call to get this one order fulfilled and somehow it still wasnt enough. Too late, they say, they wont resend the missing item or provide a refund.So thats it. I just lose money and hours of time. How does this happens with such an experienced international company? It is incredibly saddening that a store that had good experiences in the past would do this. I hope this warns people and helps protect them from the same poor treatment.

Ikea is a FUN place to shop. It’s amazing how simple furnishings and furniture can be at affordable prices and interesting to boot. The store had a long line to get in due to COVID and reducing total numbers inside but it went fast. They have all the right precautions in place to help you feel safe during this crazy time.

Dont go to eat unless you want to stand in line, the restaurant seating is still Covid small. The selection seems a bit thin. Still do not enjoy the one way maze. Too many double wides moving at a snails pace. Single file if you are going to drag your feet and look while pushing an empty cart.

Full of great ideas for small or big environments. Even the returning process is easy and smooth.

Its so big, you can almost get lost. There are several items that are permanently out. They do have low prices on lots of items.

Always a treat to go to IKEA. They have so many solutions for storage, furniture, wall art, kitchen accessories, curtains, bedding .... The list goes on and on. The employees are very helpful without being pushy or sales driven. Theres a whole area of the store dedicated to kids and the toys and games there are fun, creative and well made. Their restaurant has good healthy food and a decent cup of coffee and a great view of surrounding hills. Its an almost overwhelming visual feast to walk through the store and one of the more unusual things I see when ever I shop there is a dedicated cleaning crew that quietly and efficiently wipes down, dusts and sweeps the whole store, top to bottom, every day. If you have a reasonable ability to put things together on your own, dont expect high end quality furniture for flat pack pricing, this is a great place to get things for your home, kids room, studio or even garage.

Fine place to buy furniture/home goods with a super friendly and helpful staff but also truly an awful place to be stuck in a crowd during peak hours. Highly recommend going late or midday on a weekday

Well its ikea, so you probably know what your getting into.... Pretty sure I saw no dudes leading ladies around, mostly just guys going dont we have enough things already. Maybe ikea should sell booze might make it a bit better for the guys that are just keeping the ladies company..

The salmon was very good, never overcooked, healthy with a potato cake, but no water free with the meal any longer. I guess the fountain serves up covid or something so it is blocked off. Seated by a hostess now so no scrambling for tables. Going away hungry with the small portions, but I guess thats good for my health as well.

Lots of stuff shown on the showroom floor was out of stock. And today, around 3pm, the line to check out was incredibly long. If you can believe it, it took longer to pay than it did to walk through the entire store, shop, and pick the items from the racks. Maybe it was just an unusually busy day?

It was very busy in there today, started in the restaurant and had the veggie balls which were delicious. The cheesecake was a tiny bit overcooked but it was ok. The food prices are good in comparison to other restaurants. Only issue I had ... the high chairs were behind the line of people in the restaurant but it was really only a minor inconvenience. Staff actually checked on me and asked me if I needed help with anything, which was nice. I love the wooden toys they have in the childrens section. Most of their prices are fair. They also have good childrens books. I love walking through and seeing what is new and I only get to go a couple times a year so its a treat for me.

This is a nice place to get some ideas on home design or furnishing. I like to come here one-two hours prior closing and walk around to see whats new, to sit in a kitchen or in a chair of a living room and think and plan the design of the wall decoration, kitchen organizing...I personally dont buy from IKEA a lot (at least nothing major, like furniture, cabinets, appliances), but their small things are great for making home look nice and clean.

Pros - Ive been to this location many times over the years. The products sold here have served me well. Its always been quite quaint in my eyes, and the staff have been exceptional and friendly.Cons - I feel they could benefit from more Mobility Aid scooters. I was significantly worried when I was told they were only aware of 1. A store that big? With that many people coming and going? Only 1 aid? Get outta here. If stores like WINCO, Walmart, Fred Meyer, and even Lowes and Home Depot can have more than 1 aid, then honestly so can IKEA. With the revenue they generate, that seems quite short-sighted to only keep one aid in the entire warehouse.I also have to say, getting to this location is a bit of a pain in the A. You can really only approach it from one angle, and leave it from the same angle. I think something should be done about this, though I lack the expertise to be able to say just what that is.

Went to IKEA in Portland on a Saturday morning about 10 minutes before they opened and wow, the line was like getting into Screen Door before Covid. Probably the line seemed much longer than it actually was because of the 6 foot distancing but it was huge. So they have electric car chargers by Blink which I didnt realize. Food court is closed now (October 2020). But still a fun place to get design ideas and the prices are generally very good.

Pre-checked inventory in stock on-line prior to driving from Salem. We were looking at 4 different display cabinets, all were tagged at the store out of stock. Re-checked on-line, now stock showing out of stock. Tried speaking to Ikea associate and apparently we interrupted nappy time. No help. Wasted trip.

I saw an incident (where a grumpy, elderly, hard-of-hearing man who seemed frustrated because he was confused about how to order the furniture) had a very mild verbal confrontation with a very young and woke employee who escalated the situation when they could have more easily defused the situation with a little compassion.It seemed as if the employee really enjoyed hiding behind being offended by the 👨mans tone and accent instead of just helping him.All I did was witness the incident as an impartial nosey observer. It didnt go any further but I think Ikea lost a customer and I wonder if the employee filed some HR dispute...The world 🌎 just seems topsy-turvy. Lets show more love and compassion ❤ to each other.

Good place for all household furniture, kitchen, bedding, lighting, decor, kids toys and more. Everything is reasonably priced, furniture suitable for smaller homes..nice and fresh looking stuff.

“Unfortunately” worst customer service EVER. Can’t even accommodated ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING. Yes, I understand with any return or exchange you’ll need a receipt but what if you don’t have it….nor remember the card that was use at the time of purchase, but a least accommodated something. Now they don’t even ALLOW store credit WITHOUT a receipt…uhhh. But keep in mind that if you want to return without a receipt MAKE SURE you remember the “date” you purchase along with the card your purchase otherwise “Unfortunately” in there word will NOT, repeat WILL NOT help you “Unfortunately”. Apparently they like using that word a whole LOT. “Unfortunately” where does that stated in there return policy that I HAVE to remember the “date” of purchased along with that card that was used at the time. What wrong with this picture? This is the first I’ve heard that. “Unfortunately” just more like IKEA that does this because they’re LOSING business due to COVID. I’ve purchased things in the past and return WITHOUT any issues with them or other store. All they need is your ID and store credit and problem solve, but in this case NO “Unfortunately” the lady that was “TRYING to help including manager CAN’T even resolve the issue. Working in a customer service field it’s YOUR job is to help make sure the customer happy regardless what happened. Instead I got the cold shoulder and a “Unfortunately” we CAN’T…..NO was there answer. These people need more customers service training to help make any unsatisfied customer happy instead of just giving them the cold shoulder and shutting them down with a NO. “Unfortunately” to say I WILL NOT being purchased things from them I’ll take my money and busy else where I know will do me right.I highly recommend if you want to purchase quality and great customer service go else where.

One of my favorite places on earth. I had a friend who would never been to Ikea and the first time she went was super overwhelmed.I have the pleasure of taking her and showing her the ropes. we started out with a meal which was great. she was super excited to have a gluten-free dessert. her 1 year old found lots of food that she liked.the things that I was able to point out and change your opinion Ikea were a lot of the things that they do for families. I was able to show her the family parking lot where shes nice and close to a door in case her baby gets super upset like last time. on her previous trip she had asked somebody how to quickly exit when her kid was throwing a massive fit. somehow she was told that the only way to exit is to continue following all the arrows and walk all the way through. it was great to show her all the shortcuts and that she could quickly exit or simply find the things she was looking for without visiting the entire store. being able to write things down and then quickly go to the warehouse and find them with.Something else that she hadnt quite grasped when she was there before. Im in love with ikea. but it was nice to go with somebody who wasnt quite in love with Ikea and be able to show them a lot of things that are cool. free tea and coffee for Ikea family members is also really nice.

Store so full there was no parking. I was buying alot of items. Heavy boxes, I can carry them myself. A few employees saw this not one offered to help, just to at least hold the cart from moving. Cart sucked when pushing wheels kept turning, employees saw this not one offered to help, possibly get me a different cart. I went to ikea in LA about a week ago it was great super friendly and helful,, its probably just Portland.

It is IKEA, what can I say? I loved that they had everything home in one shop and there was an eating place where we could eat. Nothing expensive. The Swedish meat balls were yummy. Try them.Enough parking for customers and is located close to the airport. We were meeting up a friend who was flying in from California. Staff are very courteous. One of the employees let us out through a shortcut exit when he realized we had nothing to check out.

Always delightful, a fun place to shop. They do have signs posted that their supply lines have been slow. We saw quite a few things we wanted were not in stock. But it was a fun time!

High quality furniture available in a wide variety of styles. There is so much to see in this store from home, kitchen, living room, and many other options.The online store is great to use before you shop here, as it shows availability of certain items and gives a good idea of their inventory. They also have a software program that lets you manipulate various furniture pieces to see how they could fit in your house.Why 3 stars? The in-store customer service is lacking. Every time we have gone we seem to be such a burden to the associates, if we can even find any. One lady was talking on her phone for 5 minutes + while we were patiently waiting to ask her a simple question. Another lady refused to help us with a simple item, and insisted that we used the kiosk for all the help we needed.Also, they have a terrible time keeping their popular items in stock. Not sure why that is. The Billy bookcase seems to be a top seller, yet both times we tried to purchase a set, they were out of stock with no guaranteed delivery time. There was another item out of stock as well, and they would not settle to let us purchase a floor model (even though there were about 10 available.)The store offers delivery, but have fun paying that high price. They didnt offer to compensate either for the fact that they were out of both items we were interested in. Since it is about a 3 hour drive, we were hoping to have gotten everything in one stop, but left empty handed.Maybe we will order online, but we will see.UPDATE:We were able to get a hold of a helpful representative from their call center. He guaranteed us an item that was out of stock and offered to ship it for free directly to our house once it was available.Their click and connect also worked well for us, but the time before when we tried, their website was inaccurate. We arrived at the store following the online inventory which said there were about 13 of the item we wanted in stock, only to find an empty shelf that was sold out. There was no offer for compensation, and it was a long drive for us.Call first and make sure you can speak to a manager before you gamble with the trip over!

3 different items I asked for were not in stock, nor did they have an expected date for it to be back in stock. Maybe you should take the stock LIKE THESE OFF THE FLOOR if you are unable to sell, order, etc!!!

What a waste of time. Went here to get some furniture. After walking through the maze, and narrowing down our selection to the pieces that said were in stock we went down to get these pieces from the warehouse. It was at this point, we realized that we wasted all our time because none of the items that we had picked (they said they were in stock in the showroom) were in stock. Will be sticking to Costco for now on.

I love ikea with how cheap their prices are and how big the selection is. Sometimes their stock is smaller and theyre out of things for whatever reason and it can get a bit crowded.

IKEA has a large selection of furniture and accessories no matter what your budget or space is. Anything from small shoe racks to full kitchen cabinets as well as many appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, cooktops etc... They also have a wide variety of sizes available for many of their items. Take measurements of the space youre trying to furnish then head on in to the store!

Ikea always amazes me with their variety of products for such inexpensive rates but this ikea in particular had a few problems.1. Many shelves were empty and the products were missing.2. Few products at the showrooms were not labelled with the right price tags.3. In the end, pickup aisles were stacked with the wrong products under the labels.It’s been quite some time since the shelves were stocked. So it gets annoying to find the products to be unavailable but I love Ikea in general.

Alot of themed rooms and random items to look at and buy, the place was beautiful and felt endless. If you are around the area its definitely a good time waster.
