My dream car was hit and they assured me that they will replace and rebuild the car back to 100%I just want to say that they delivered on their part 100% Joey, always called me and gave me updates. They are an Audi certified repair shop and they know what they are doing. I highly recommend you conduct your business with Collision Rebuilders! The owner is very kind, they give excellent estimates, and they work directly with Nation Wide insurance too. Great customer service, great communication, and most importantly, great rebuilding!
I came in nervous, looking for a quote for body work, and by the time I left I was smiling. From the owner to the employees everyone was very helpful. The quote and time they said itll be done was very accurate. The next morning when I came in to grab my car it looked better then what I expected.Im very pleased and will be recommending them to people I know.
Robert and crew did a fantastic job repairing my Honda. I couldn’t be happier with the speed and quality of the fix. Thanks!!!
I received work on a paint job at this shop, and 8 months later I wanted ask about why the color tones do not match with the other panels after the curing process. I went in to the shop to discuss and to gain a better understanding. I was told by the manager after the work was done that they guarantee their work so I spoke with a guy who appears to run the shop and I immediately got defensive tone from him. He persisted to tell me that every panel on my car doesn’t match and also saying every panel has blue, green, yellow tints. Mind you that my car is white. I could not see what he saw and all I wanted is to talk it out and hear his professional opinion. As we continue to compare panels, He continue to talk rapidly without letting me get in a word. He eventually said, “I am not giving you a quote” and to “get over it and move on,” and to “worry about other problems in my life.” He continued to talk down to me and berating me as if my questions weren’t valid. I read a similar reviews to this shop about wrong color matching and the poor customer service. It seems to be a trend and not a bad day. I would not recommend going to shop because of this person’s behavior, poor customer service, and the disrespectful treatment I received.
The BEST body shop in town ! I took my Audi to this place and I can not stress enough how impressed I am with this place. My 2011 car looks brand spanking new. Amazing absolutely amazing. If you love your car and want nothing but perfection GO HERE ! Don’t waste your time anywhere else.Everyone that works here is professional, friendly, and 100% honest. You’ll get no run around from collision rebuilders.I will never go anywhere else.Thank you !!
If youre going to judge a collision center based on reviews, please take a minute to read mine, it may save you from making a horrible mistake going somewhere that has 5 star reviews but horrible repair quality. 1st, let me tell you why you may want to listen to me. Im an Oregon Certified Auto Appraiser. I ONLY work for consumers, not insurance companies. There are a lot of auto body repair shops in the area that have tons of 5 star reviews and people raving about how nice they are. I inspect post repairs for consumers and when it comes to quality, Collision Rebuilders is one of the only shops in the Portland area I would trust my own vehicle to. You should be aware that Collision Rebuilders does get 4.8 Rating and 5 stars on Carwise with 91 reviews which is a more accurate rating system related to repair quality and not if someone was mad that their car repair was delayed due to slow part supplies after the snowstorms. If you look through the 1 star reviews youll find most are due to the snowstorms or took more time than expected which most of the top shops in the area received bad reviews from due to the large number of auto accidents during the snow and ice. I give them 5 stars on repair quality. One last thing. Most Body shop techs are only I-CAR certified, Collision Rebuilders techs are also ASE Certified. So, they are also mechanics. That means a lot in collision repair.
ZERO STARS! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
I had an excellent experience at Collision Rebuilders. They did a thorough job when assessing the damage and making a recommendation. The other company that my insurance recommended took about 3 min to look at my car, recommended fixing the bumper, rather than replacing it, and it was clear that it could not be fixed. It was cracked completely through. Joey at Collision Rebuilders did a great job of communicating with me. They quickly got me in and had the car fixed in a week, complete with the new bumper and paint job. They also removed some smudges on my exterior, vacuumed the interior and wiped the car down free of charge. I would recommend them to anyone in need of body work on their car. Thank you so much for making this process so simple! Dont listen to the 1 star reviews... they are not accurate.
Joey and his team were wonderful to work with. I had dropped my car off while traveling from out of state, and they worked with me and my insurance with respect, patience, and got the job done as soon as they could. They kept me updated every step of the way. This is a quality shop with quality technicians. Do yourself a favor and take your car here!
The employees and owners are great. They take a personal approach to all of the cars they care for and the owners. They fix the cars to look as good as new.
I NEVER take my vehicles anywhere but Collision Rebuilders. Joey and his team are the absolute BEST!! They do amazing work, and are by far the best auto body repair shop on the entire planet!! :)
Friendly and helpful service after our car was damaged by a careless driver. Predicted a 3-4 day repair, but the bumper was replaced and ready after 2. Cleaned inside and out—we were very pleased with the results.
I tried getting my car repaired here after an accident during a snowstorm. I walked in, they took photos of my car, and were friendly. Everything seemed fine. They said they would email me when they were able to take my car, and literally never got back to me. I emailed asking for a date to drop my car off, and still nothing.
My family and I have used Collision Rebuilders a total of three times over the last 20 years. This last time my mothers 2014 MINI had minor front end damage from a slow speed collision with an object in her garage. Since we are planning to sell the car I decided it should be fixed. After clearing with her insurance I called CRI and got in to get an estimate the same day. The estimate was ready 1/2 hour after I arrived. The claim was filed and approved later that day. When I asked when the work would be completed. They said a week or two. Nine days later the car was ready, including a complimentary wash and vacuum. The work was done correctly and the front parking sensor now works again. Paint was a perfect match. Class act all around. Thanks Collision Rebuilders!
Not friendly, don’t communicate in a timely manner. Not worth your time.
I am not giving a bad review for the repairs they made to my car. The repairs were good quality as far as I can tell, and I have no complaints regarding that. But, Holy Hell, this company has some serious, SERIOUS, internal problems. I was rear ended in January, at which time the entire hatch back on my Prius was destroyed. This place was recommended as a preferred shop by the insurance company, and I was told working with them would get me back in my car faster than other shops. Cool.I arranged to drop my car off in late February. I got an estimate in the mail about 2 weeks later saying the repairs would take another 2 weeks to finish. This was also sent to the insurance company. About 2 weeks later, I called to check on the progress of my car. They put me on hold for 20 minutes just trying to find my file. Seriously? They then said my car hadnt been worked on at all yet, aside from the estimate. Wow. This was a month after dropping off and they didnt give me a reason, aside from the bad winter weather we experienced when I was rear ended. I would later find out that the guy managing the shop was stealing huge amounts of money from the company and they basically fired their entire staff while my car sat untouched. I was never informed of this and didnt find out until I called again, weeks later, to check the progress. All kinds of excuses were given every time I called. Im sorry, its not my problem if you have issues with your staff. I expect communications when delays occur, and I never received a single phone call from them regarding delays. In the end I got my car back after three months of bullsh*t. Oh yea, I was also told they would take care of my rental when I picked up my car, but then when I got there everyone in the office seemed to have no idea what I was talking about. No idea. I had to arrange to drop off the rental myself across town and get a cab back to the shop. They then denied the fact that they offered this service when I dropped off my car in February.Everything about my experience with Collision Rebuilders was absolutely horrible. I have never had to deal with such unprofessional people. I will never even consider taking my car to them again, and told everyone I know to avoid them like the plague. Many people told me to report them to the BBB and/or pursue a small claims case for their negligence. Trust me, theyre not worth your time and stress.
This is the worst place ever! They cant meet deadlines and communication is awful.. They have had my our car for a month. Car was hit while it was there for repairs. Never do business with them!
Collision Rebuilders is a very nice place in NW Portland that has good customer service and lots of experience in the automotive industry and the new management is A+ Todd was vary helpful in explaining the insurance process and called and updated me along the way I highly recommend going and getting your car fixed here
Hi Everyone --My father taught me about Collision Rebuilders. Dad informed me that some of our neighborhood friends, had brought their high end (very expensive!!) Mercedes to Collision Rebuilders. Michael did a gorgeous job. When my father dented his new - Also Gorgeous BMW. Collision Rebuilders repaired it, and did a great job. Just before Thanks Giving, MY Car - had a Very Stupid !!Unfortunate accident, of driving over some bolder s. Some Idiots in Lake Oswego - Redid their ugly garden. and side walk strip off their side walk. Except there was NO CURB!!! ! Lined with Bolder s !!!!! on an incredibly narrow neighborhood street. This should be Illegal !!!! The officer that came to the seen. Even said it was very stupid !! Well there you go --- My car was towed off the rocks. And I was able to drive it to Michael. I was so upset, Tears werent far off. Thinking I completely totaled my car. Michael said not to worry! He takes No Short Cuts, and their is No Middle Guy. He does the work and car Insurance pays. The End !I was very lucky - no engine damage. Just my floor board was pounded out. Michael went above and beyond my expectations. he Shampooed entire interior, cleaned/polished entire exterior, sanded repainted my front bumper, Ordered a bent but still functional bracket for my undercarriage - he will call me, when it comes in to have it installed. My car Looks FANTASTIC he even dealt with my Horrible Insurance Agent - that is on borrowed time now... Thank God for his C.O.D shop.Michael is very compassionate about cars, treating you well - because youve already had a horrible car accident ! you dont need more insult. He did a thorough /excellent job ! I will return to him.
Perhaps the worst customer service experience Ive ever had in any situation. Theyve had my car for 6 weeks now after telling me Id have it back in 1 week. I went in after a week to pick it up and they had no record of having my car. They finally found the car, but lost the paperwork and never started on it. Since then Ive been told every week that Id have it next week. Its been different people every week too and theyve said theyve had lots of turnover lately which is a very poor sign relating to ownership/management. Certainly wont take a car here again.
The experience we had with Collision Rebuilders in NW Portland was absolutely horrible. Upon picking up the car it was obvious that some of the damage was still visible. When asked about it they referred to the estimate and said it clearly states they only had so much labor allocated to the front door and I should have known that the amount of time listed wouldn’t properly fix the door. I asked them how somebody not in the auto body business would know that and they’re response was again, ‘you should have read the estimate more clearly.’ As a consumer, I expected the estimate provided would fix 100% of the damage, not 90%. They didn’t see it that way and said if I wanted that damage fixed they’d give me another estimate and I could pay for it. Then said, ‘if that doesn’t work for you, have a nice day’ and proceeded to walk off. In my opinion, the worst way to handle an issue and proof that they really don’t care what the customer thinks as long as they get paid.
Avoid this business at all costs. We were sent here by our insurance company after our car was hit. These people were very difficult to work with. They took 2 months to fix our car after saying it would be 2-3 weeks. Ok, that happens. It also happened to cost almost twice what they they told our insurance company it would cost. And they forgot to fix the tail light, a windshield wiper, and a few other small things. After 2 months. Ok.In the middle of that period though they had us exchange our rental car for another. They apologized for how long the fix was taking and said they would be taking care of this rental, but in order to pay for it they had to have us switch. So, They got the car for us. 2 months later, we got a bill from Hertz asking for payment. When we called Collision Rebuilders, they alternated between laughing in our face and aggressively dismissing their responsibility. Every 5 minutes, they made up another story about what happened and why they werent going to pay. They left it with why would you ever think wed pay for your rental? Uh... because you said you would and you got the car. Were left holding the bag for $1000 in rental charges. They are a total disgrace, I hope you never have to find out first hand.
Collision Rebuilders did a great job on repairing the hood of my car. They matched the paint well and they even returned my car clean inside and out! Thanks Guys!!
I took my 2009 Porsche Cayman S to Collision Rebuilders to have the bumpers and rear spoiler painted. They ran weeks behind and after several promises to complete the job, they finally got it done but, unfortunately, the paint color was mismatched. I contacted the shop a total of five times to get this resolved and all I got was the same promise to get back to me. They refuse to return phone calls and when I visit the shop Mike just says that he needs to talk to the painter and he will get back to me. He never did in spite of knowing my name, address, e mail and phone number. I even told him I was willing to pay more if he could repaint it correctly, all to no avail. Their work is crap, customer service is worse and they dont bother to back anything.
I hate to admit that I need these guys from time to time. The first time it was another car running into mine. Other times it has been dings and scratches of my own doing. That means Im normally dropping by when Im upset or chagrined. It doesnt matter what my frame of mind. This shop not only does excellent work but it comes with customer service that replaces my angst with feeling I have someone in my corner. I honestly dont know if they have some sort of training program in empathy or they do a great job of hiring only the right kind of people. Im just glad they are in my town.
The worst repair shop. My vehicle went in April and they kept sending in repair order after repair order to the insurance. No reason for crappy time line on repairs.
Fair prices, expedient work, polite staff
I should have listened to other reviews. They misled my insurance company, they took longer than they told me they would and they did work that they bragged about that was demonstrably imperfect. Do not go there, heed the warnings.
Excellent service, helpful staff.
Robert Edgar runs a sub standard shop and he is a sub standard businessman. This place is not capable of matching paint. The company and it’s owner should be avoided at any cost.
Great place to have your car fixed
Picking up a car
Thanks for fixing my car!!!
