I’ve gone to almost all the Mister Bagle, and this one is by far the best. They had great service and such a short wait. Highly recommended. I especially enjoyed meeting Izzy who had great hospitality. Will definitely return for more. :)

A dang good bagel for a dang good price.

They don’t take orders by phone. Was on hold for fifteen minutes at Forrest Street location before I gave up and tried another location where they didn’t even answer the phoneFor whatever reason, they don’t make this policy clear.

Mr Bagel is my familys only bagel place. They have the best tasting bagels & the most delicious cream cheese! Plus at this location they even make dog bones!! Staff are always friendly & always get our order right!

Three cheers for the house-made gluten-free bagels! We love them toasted hard, with the whitefish salad or veggie cream cheese. We get some every week. Great, friendly staff.

Love this mister bagel. We moved to Gorham and there are multiple mister bagels closer to us, however most weekends I still drive down to forest ave to get our breakfast. The staff is so much nicer than the other ones I’ve been to and they seem to have it all together. Food is always great, and we’re always treated perfectly.

I love love love Mister Bagel so much! Every single time I go I just have so a nice experience and interactions with all the employees! I am trying to get a Mister Bagel t-shirt but school runs longer than the store is open til :/ That is the only down fall though! Love this place! Love the bagels! Love everything about it!

This is one of my all time favorite spots for breakfast. I go here regularly and the staff and owners are incredibly friendly and always helpful. They know my regular order but are also never surprised when I change it up last second. I love the iced coffee, the bagels, the sandwiches, the burritos... everything about the OG Mr. B is fabulous!

Imho, this is the Mister Bagel of Mister Bagels. They have cool graphics on boards, the people are super nice and patient when I consistently stumble through my morning order. The bagels and coffee are great, but I’d highly recommend the burritos. I have yet to try the breakfast bagel pizza, but I bet it’s good too.

Good bagel shop with great service by the all of the employees. Always a pleasure going there to get breakfast, whether it is to-go or dine-in. My personal favorite is the David Bowie (which is a Bacon Egg and Cheese) on a French Toast bagel toasted for a breakfast sandwich. I totally recommend going there.

Mr. Bagel is very good. Individual stores are better or worse depending. Westbrook, Scarborough, Forest Ave are tops. Windham is not as good. Falmouth sucks right out loud. Drive to Forest Ave or Yarmouth.

These are the best bagels on town. Especially the Everything Bagel! They are the perfect crispy chewy texture. Delicious!

The Loaded Nova Lox Sandwich IS BETTER than NY! Super friendly and helpful staff!

If youre a fan of lox and bagels, order that. It comes with cream cheese, capers, onions and tomatoes which is the way I would have made it. The coffee is strong as well.

As a local business order this has been my go to breakfast stop over 100 times over the last 5 years and I wish I was making this up the last 4 trips here they have forgotten my order as I have stood around aimlessly waiting. Other times it has been busy and today there was only 3 people waiting on food 5 employees standing around joking, and they forgot my Jimmy Hendrix on super. The last 3 times I just chalked it up to being busy and a poorly organized ordering system. This time I just felt compelled to right a review because 4 times in a row was enough. That being said I will still eat here because its good but my god, create a better system, especially after you increased prices recently.

I just paid $25.50 for 1 dozen bagels and cream cheese, Good (not great) bagels, but I will not be returning at that price.

Authentic New York Bagels in Maine, except they will to them if you ask (heresy, I know). Excellent lox and schmear. Highly recommended.

Update: So my review below still stands, but my rating needs to be lowered in response to the owners response...the fact that you dont care about customer service is a problem in itself. Everything you replied with says more about you than it does about me and just how much you value your customers.first review: To be honest, when I would read reviews in the past, I never paid attention to the bad service ones. Mostly because I only cared about how the food tasted. However, the service at this place made eating the sandwich a less enjoyable experience. The man who took my phone order was extremely rude for no reason. At the end of the conversation he stated that the order would be done in 10 minutes. So we show up about 3-5 minutes early just to pay for the order and to let them know we were there for when the order was done. We were also in a hurry so the sooner the better. So as soon as we state the name of the order, the same man who was rude on the phone says to the cashier with so much sass, I told them on the phone, 10 minutes. Then walked to the back of the restaurant. Just because we were there early doesnt mean we expected the sandwich to be done. It was so unnecessary and I said in front of the cashier that he was rude on the phone and rude now and she decided to ignore me. So I will not be returning to this location. Just because you wake up on the wrong side of the bed doesnt mean you have to ruin everyone elses morning.

The people are very rude. The man that took my phone order acted like I was putting him out. He asked if I wanted anything else. When I said thats it after ordering three breakfast sandwiches, he hung up on me. When we went in to pick up the order, we asked to pay for one sandwich separately. The women on the register stated very rudely that she cant do that and acted extreemlt annoyed with the request. I will not be returning.

OK, so I gave Mr. Bagel on Forest Ave another chance. I AGAIN (for the 4th time) did not get what I ordered. I ordered a pecan roll and got a fruit muffin. And the muffin was so burned I had to throw most of it away. I also asked for a bagel, split not toasted, and had to stop the attendant from putting it in the toaster--good thing I was paying attention to this activity, unlike the roll/muffin selection. VERY frustrated. I cant even take more time away from work to walk back up there and get my money back.

Poor service. I had my arms full and noone offered a bag. Cashier was rude. I wIll not be back to this location. Wish there was a no star option. Very disappointed.

I stop in about 5 times a month and lately things have gotten out of control in there. When I walk in I have to wait for the employees to get done with their conversations with each other about all the drama in their lives. When I finally order the food it has been wrong the last 4 times. Also, the bagels are WAAAYYY OVER DONE!! Used to be a good place. Need some Changes or we have to go somewhere else. I hate writing bad reviews but we feel like its appropriate in this case.

We have frequented this mr bagel for years, going almost every Sunday. We drive an extra 10 minutes to support local people. We have always loved the bagels, but the last hand full of times we have been in the store the service has been terrible. The older gentleman is sarcastic and rude. Our order has been unapologeticly messed up each time and today we came home with bagels that were not standard and olive cream cheese that ended up being veggie. We called to let a manager know, not looking for any type of compensation, just because if it were my store, I would want to know. The manager got in a screaming match of sarcasm with my husband, and long story short, they lost a long time regular.
