I rarely write reviews, but wanted to talk about how amazing people are here. I went in to get help with a dress that had small beaded chains needed replacing--both times they helped me without asking--even putting the chain on, and taking the time to help me in a busy store. What I appreciated is, the chain only cost a dollar or so, but they still went out of their way to help, even if I was only buying a $1 chain LOL. Thats the service we love, and we need in this world!

Ive been shopping at Dava for probably close to 20 years! New location and new ownership are great. I pop in regularly for a couple tools or supplies. Ive received many kind jewelry-making tutorials over the years, and the owner fixed a necklace for me. No complaints!

I was happy to find out that The one Dava location has not closed. I went in and found some great sterling silver findings which I was desperately in need of. I plan on going back here again when I start my project with the little Japanese seed beads. Those are my favorite to work with and I was pleasantly surprised at how big of a selection of colors that they carry. It was an all around great experience and I can’t wait to go back!!

Do you remember beading in the 90s? Literally the best era of beading!! Dava Beads has been around since that time and is perfect for seed beads -- the largest selection I have seen in such a shop. The staff helped be pick out the right size thread and needle and the glue I needed for my project. Absolutely a must-visit if you are a jewelry maker.

I was directed to the person in charge of repairs after discussing my situation on the phone. I had an antique necklace from Tibet that needed restringing due to wear. The manager helping me treated me with a condescending attitude and acted like she just didnt have time or didnt want to do any creative brainstorming on how to repair the piece. I will never go back there but if you just want to string your little beads have at it!

Every time that I have come to Dava Bead Ive always felt welcome by the workers. They arent pushy or overbearing. They also are all super knowledgeable and can always answer my questions. They also have open studio time and a metal smithing shop to take classes if you wish. The selection of beads and stones and other little notions is by far the best Ive come across.

Good selection, came in looking for some more uniformly sized white beads for a project of mine, found them fast. Pleasant atmosphere and a friendly staff.

I went into Dava today looking for a specific Swarovski bead for my wedding dress. Out of all of the bead and craft stores Ive been to on the east side, this one had to most helpful and knowledgeable staff. They told me of a website that I can order my bead from. So happy to have an item checked off my list!

Very positive experience at Dava. Not only was I recommended to visit here from multiple jewelers around town (I was inquiring about a necklace repair) but they were patient and informative about what I needed to do to make what I had work instead of selling me something else. Reasonable prices, friendly staff.

As a beginner, beader... I was welcomed when I came into the store. Mostly I browsed around. No one came up and engaged me in conversation. They had a good selection. Some things seemed a little pricey. I bought a few things, The store felt to upscale to me, and I felt uncomfortable.

This is a good local bead store. Dont go looking for smoothing unique or expensive here. They have all the general beading supplies you need.
