I was incredibly impressed by the selection in every department. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. I found everything I needed and more.The staff were very helpful.I didnt see many employees on the floor and had to ask their in house security where something may be. She was so fun and helpful! She knew exactly where I could find what I needed.

Five stars because the ladies working the register were so friendly and nice and I felt like they definitely deserve some more credit. The store selection was okay, but the customer service at this location was wonderful. I really appreciate the great coupons they offer here that saves me a lot of money which is always a good reason to come here, but if the workers weren’t so nice, I probably wouldn’t come as often.

My first time in a Joann in probably 30 years. Bright back great memories of shipping with my mom in the 80s.The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the clientele were fairly well behaved. Thanks, Joann!

I was left in the bead isle for about 15 minutes by the manager, after she walked by with customers and told me she would be right back. I walked around to look for some one to help me, and ended up at the cutting table, where she told me she forgot about me.... I was very embarrassed. Yet understand we all have off days. She came and help me at the front desk and made me feel better about my experience coming there.

I was in the store well before it closed. As closing time approached the manager asked me if I needed help, but truly he just wanted to rush me out of the store! He refused to cut my fabric, although several customers were still in line. I am not sure what the issue was or why he was totally rude. This was not the first time I had a bad experience at this store. I miss fabric depot :(

Decent selection and the store is pretty clean. I am temporarily in need of more accessible options and this location has no wheelchairs/electric wheelchairs so I had to navigate the store with my knee scooter. Not very handicapped friendly at all

Great Employees! Needed to find a needle threader for the Punch Needle Embroidery tool, was unable to find just the threader so she suggested that we look at the wires in the jewelry department to see if I can make one. Did a comparison w/ a new one in a kit & found that the wire will work perfectly! Thanks Jo-Anns for having great Employees!

Smaller Joanns than some. The fabric is not organized in any specifically relatable order it seems so hunting down the right type can take a while. Good craft selection and very helpful staff. Not too busy much of the time so a good location if picking up lots of yards of stuff.

A fabric store with employees who cut material that cannot figure out that 96 inches is 8 feet. When my husband requested 96 inches of material their comment was “we only sell by the yard”. After looking at a calculator and talking with another employee, my husband brought the material home. When I went to put the backing on my quilt, guess what, IT WAS 6 INCHES TOO SHORT. She had figured/cut 2.417 yards of material. We took the material back, they had no more material. There was none in the Portland area so we had to go to a Joannes in Vancouver to get the material. Would not recommend this Joannes for material

I like the amount of stock they have. I like that their prices are reasonable and their staff is usually friendly. That being said I feel like they are usually under staffed, and this makes a little off when I have been shopping here. The items get moved around a lot, like paints were switched and their price was off. Whenever Im ready to check out theres always a line and only 1 cashier. Good store for leisure shopping not so much if you want to get in and out fast.

I have been doing a lot of buy online-pickup curbside. I love this option. So far they have had all my items in stock.

Its a Jojos so they are pretty much the same as far as stuff. This one is better than the other ones in the area because they have a great group of employees who know crafting and sewing.

Customer service could be better. Just cuz I have a backpack does NOT make me homeless scum, coming into your store to rob you &/or leave a mess behind me. (Thats what one of the workers said about me to a co-worker). If there was a different craft store closer to me; that could meet my needs for my jewelry biz, I would stop shopping here.But I DO love the sales and supplies and variety of beads!

Probably one of the best places for fabric and frames. Not sure about other stuff. It is for crafty people for sure!

Can say too much about this when I just went there with a friend I dont really sell and stuff but then cool stuff I did get some marking pins and color marking pencils and for my coloring it was a lot of fun very friendly very knowledgeable

There are SO many neat arts and crafts here I could have spent hours shopping. Theres a sale of 40% off yarn that was buy 2 get 1 free that Ill be going back for, today I only needed a holder for my cross-stitch. Workers were friendly and helpful. Ill be back!

Im not a crafter, but was making an.urgent supply run for a friend.He needed a lot of yarn.They have ZERO carts and only a few handbaskets.The yarn dept in the back corner was not staffed. I went to the cutting table to ask them to send someone.A guy arrived, but said he was from paint, so he wasnt able to offer much guidance.For the project list, 2 dolls and 1 full blanket and with NO carts at all, no basket available, and Id asked him to bring a few bags, but that didnt happen...not sure why...3 trips from yarn back corner to register to drop stuff off.My back was KILLING ME by the time I got in line.I did tell them I came to JoAnn because of my loathing for Wal-Mart. However, if I have to do this again, I will have to pick a different store, even if its further away or a chain I dont like.A lot of stores have carts that cant be pushed out the door if theft is a problem. Anyhow, enjoy the first and LAST dollars I will spend there if the cart situation remains. $55.xx today.

They have a pretty good selection of stuff at their store. But when I go into any store I like to take my time and look at things and I generally spend like an hour in most stores.. and I felt like they automatically judge people and follow them around or have loss prevention follow around the store. But they were still pretty professional about following or watching customers I guess...at least compared to their rival store Michaels who really are ride and piss me off cause they literally go shopping down each isle with you...

Absolutely adore this place they have everything from scrapbooking to custom picture framing and design. Definitely a place I would recommend.

They have a very nice selection of fabrics to choose from but the store is so unorganized you literally have to find what you need on your own and the employees dont know where anything is or provide any kind of help or direction. Its like they go out of theyre way to not be bothered by the customers. Other than that the shelves are always stocked when I go there and the prices are reasonable

Lots of arts and crafts obviously...very expensive as far as I know. Maybe its the norm for this kinda store but to me a piece of foam shouldnt cost $20 or even more depending on the size. But they do have cheap plain t-shirts. And in lots of different colors. Staff isnt very helpful, but maybe cause Im a guy and they wonder what Im doing there in the first place. Still tho Im a paying customer and deserve the same service as everyone else.

The coupon mania business model is a bit tired for the corporation as a whole, but the staff at this location is always helpful and friendly, and they almost always have the items I need.

Waited for a cashier for 15 minutes and when another person signed in she asked for the next person in line and some guy literally walked in from outside straight to her. I stated I was next and he said it would only take a second and proceeded with his return at which no point did the cashier object. I protested again and was completely ignored. So if you’re white, this store is for you.

Once upon a time there was a factory that made clueless, 3 brain celled employees. The factory owner said these are pretty useless employees. They wont be able to ever find anything in the store, yet alone help a customer with finding anything or really do anything at all, other than just stand there or point at some aisle. Ill also warn you, that they will answer the phone, but will always b.s. you and tell you that they have something in stock without even looking for it, and the customer will go all the way there on multiple occasions just to find that they didnt know what they were talking about, again, nor cared about it either. Then he let out a bellowed laugh and said this lot is useless and clueless and there all to be thrown out into the garbage! The manager of joannes fabric objected and cried out nonsense! Ill take them all at once!. The end. F* You

Love this place. One of my favorite stores. Favorite because I find so many great things, great deals and good people. I can never remember all the wonderful people that help me. Even the customers help me, like when I drop all my things and someone helps me pick them up. Em was a great friendly cashier. Im also wanting to thank the ladies at the cutting station. So many I cant remember the names at this moment. I will have to write them down next time to mention, but they are great all. I usually end up with each one helping me with such courtesy. It is too hot in the store though.

It claims to be a super store. Except for wider aisles, I saw no difference in selection from the smaller stores. Not a nice or convenient location.

I am not a crafter. I came here to get a Christmas present for someone out of state since the particular item was only available in Portland. Point is, everyone I encountered working in this store is 100%, no doubt, DOWN FOR THE CAUSE of crafting. People were stoked that I was getting this particular item - an embroidery sewing machine - and they wanted to let me know what I was buying was LEGIT as I was told a few times. It seems as if working at Joanne Fabrics and Crafts is not something that happens by accident. People who craft apply and people who craft rightfully get the job. Way to go, folks.

This is the mecca promised land of scrapbookers, the super store. Its bigger & has way more stuff compared to regular locations. Always decent sales going on, to make up for most items being so pricey.

Great store, great selection. Door attendant could have been more cordial when he told my wife and I we needed to wait outside for people to leave.

Went there to pick up something specific. Online it said there were 5 of these items in stock. Got there and there were none. One of the employees said the website updates once a week. Terrible. This should be stated on their site.

They offer curbside pickup yet keep you waiting 30+ minutes to bring out what you ordered.I actually had to go in to get what I ordered because no one ever actually brought it out to me. Very much defeated the purpose of ordering online. I only ordered 1 small item.As much as I’m trying to abide by not going into stores during a pandemic I had to anyways. It also took significantly longer. I could have walked in to buy what I needed in 5 minutes.

My friend works for Joanns and I have yet to have any type of issues with them. They are very nice, creative, and very open to share with u any ideas as far as what your next arts craft will be. And they are more then eager to teach u a new craft if u are just walking into the Arts and Crafts field. They are amazing

I went in to buy some material that is listed 60% off on their website but 30% signage in the store. Get there and discover their shelves were bare. I was told by an employee that the material probably came in but was not unloaded yet. He told me that it might be restocked by tomorrow, the last day of the sale. Called several hours later and get told it will be restocked probably on Wednesday after the sale ends. To top off my wonderful customer experience I got an attempted purse snatching in the parking lot, employee said they usually have security on duty but not today.

You can get a variety of different things. Watch for sales and coupons. They offer different types of classes. Staff friendly.

Was a good time to go there, there were so many items on sale it was great.

Great selection of material. somewhat lacking in some craft areas. some things like tie-dye area almost totally empty.I did find all of the employees very helpful.

This none is pretty much like all of them although the staff here seems a bit more willing to help you when needed.

Availability of products is good. If youre picking up actual craft materials, theyre not horribly priced. But dont buy things like plastic storage drawers etc. Theyre ridiculously over priced, especially since theres a dollar tree in the same mall and you can easily solve the storage problems there for much less.

I love this store. Its so big and has a wonderful selection no matter what kind of project Im taking on. They have a huge collection of charm squares and fat quarters, it made me itch to buy them all up and make a monster quilt. They also have so many coupons available that its easy to get a good deal. Their spring decor section is so gorgeous, I want to buy it all.

Big store had a decent amount of time to browse and wasnt rushed found a few things I hadnt seen before and workers were fine around closing one of the employees does this pretty radical closing countdown that was a good over the top a must see if your ever happen to be in the area around closing. props!

I only go to Home Video Library for electronics because they always have the best prices. They are all very knowledgeable and patiently help you find what you want. I purchased a television, beautiful stand. a sound bar and a DVD player. For just a small fee, they delivered it, set it up and taught us how to use the equipment. I trust Home video to answer all, my questions a with honesty and offer personal service. I couldnt be happier.

Apparently you cant get covid standing in a long line in the freezing cold. Rediculous. Long lines out in the freezing cold for only 2 people allowed in at a time. Just to figure out they only have two rolls of yarn Everytime because who ever stalks the yarn doesnt know how to do the reordering.

I guess Joann wasnt working the day I was there, but her staff seemed really pleasant, and I found the fabric I was looking for.

When the local store of Fabric Depot closed down, Joanns is the only fabric store left in the area. This store is not by my house, so my first visit was kind of shocking. The staff in this store is pretty amazing. While most stores of okay, but this particular shop is outstanding, even the Security Guard was wonderful. The kid, Im old, who check me out was an African American and he was amazing.

They have the coolest stuff in there.

I have only shopped this location once before, but considering how busy they are, they are handling covid well and keeping the store in order. Clerks are friendly, kind and helpful.
