I thought I wanted one mattress style and after he asked me a few questions and had me try a few other mattress he helped me realize I needed something different. Theresa was my original saleswoman on my first visit but I bought the Sealy Posturepedic hybrid silver chill which is a spring mattress on the bottom with half memory foam on the top. I know when she told me that shes been here 18 years that she was actually telling the truth. I have seen her and talked to her before. It took me a total of (3) visits to buy my bed which I have only ever bought only from Mattress World in my entire adult life in the Portland, OR area for 13 years as I lived in Portland, OR for about 13 years. So I admit that Im a Mattressworld fanboy but let me tell you why...Today 05/28/21 I checked all their competitors and they were all quoting between $100 and $200.00 more for the same exact mattress so today I really realized that Mattressworld beat every competitor by default. I always suspected that was the case previously but after 13 years of matress buying I confirmed it.Justin at the Glisan location closed the deal with me and assisted me on my second and third visit as Theresa was the first and main salesperson for this transaction. They were both so HONEST.They BOTH went out of their way its not even funny! Justin agreed to keep the store open since I arrived literally at 8 pm when the store closed.I spent two hours doing final stuff like headboard, pillows, sheets, box spring, foundation, and mattress protector and financing which I got approved for with Progressive Leasing for $2600.00!!! That was my third deal I ever did with progressive leasing!Please note with Progressive Leasing its ALMOST zero interest same as cash minus a $59 fee for paying everything off WITHIN 90 days (interest can be high if NOT paid within 90 days so make sure you pay it all within 90 days!!!Listen. Ive bought tempurpedic, Englander 100% latex and Sterns and foster 100% latex and this time I decided to buy a roughly $1900 (mattress only) spring mattress hybrid memory foam bed (half springs half memory foam) and while this WASNT the top end most bed I ever bought (since it was just a guest bed purchase for the guest room) what I CAN say is this was my FAVORITE mattress purchase of my entire life of 38 years old because of how well I was treated!!!Keeping the store open two hours after closing and helping me piece together everything from the sheets to the mattress protector WITHOUT funny looks for TAKING TOO LONG and without PRESSURE was an amazing feeling!The pricing was ALREADY lower than ALL retail competitors AND ONLINE!!! I just went in to get a new bed, as my current mattress is woefully inadequate. Andy was AWESOME.I had gone to a different, national store before stopping here and there salesman was really bad. I gave him my budget and told him that I had no interest in making payments. He kept showing me things out of my budget and pushing the payment option.Right away when I walked into Mattress World, it was obvious that they were taking safety precautions seriously. The store was super clean and the floors were marked out for distancing. Also the store itself is pretty nice and spread out.Andy listened to my parameters and never tried to talk me into something I wasnt looking for. I came in specifically to check out their house brand, the Hathaway Collection, and let me tell you, theyre just as good in quality and comfort to the national name brands. Plus theyre made locally, so not only am I supporting a locally owned business, Im also getting a locally made product.After all was said and done, Im paying about 300 dollars less overall for everything Im getting (mattress, box spring, mattress protector, two pillows AND delivery) than I would have been at the national place I looked at. And the mattress itself is better than the other option I was looking at.Thank you!

After looking online, I came in to find an RV mattress and had a budget in mind. After getting some honest Info about the difference between mattresses and where your extra money goes, we settled on a great mattress that fit my needs perfectly. They even knocked off a few bucks to meet my budget. Got a better price than the comparable mattress online and I took it home that day. Justin was the guy who helped me out and he knew what was up. We are thrilled with our Mattress World experience. The store has tons of inventory at a wide range of prices, and Teresa, our salesperson, is incredible. No high pressure, phony-baloney tactics here. Easy warranty exchange process. We purchased a Beautyrest last year and were never able to get comfortable. Thought we just needed to break it in. However after only 1 year, our body indentations were so sunken into the mattress that it made it hard to get out of bed along with causing back and hip pain. We called Mattress World NW and they were able to help start a warranty claim (during the Covid quarantine) through the mattress company for us. We just had to submit pictures of the receipt, mattress, tags, indentation measurements etc to Mattress World NW and they did the rest. After a quick approval, they gave us the option to exchange for the same or reshop when the stores reopened. We looked online and had an idea of what we wanted to see when the stores opened back up. We decided on looking at Sterns and Foster (we had owned in the past) and with the help of Andy got exactly what we were hoping for. Sterns and Foster Hurston Eurotop, its firm but has a plush pillowtop. We have both been sleeping comfortably through the night starting day 1. Crew that brought the new one and took the defective one away were friendly and fast. Arrived early and made sure to wear masks and take off their shoes. This was the best furniture buying experience and warranty exchanged weve ever dealt with. Would recommend Mattress World NW and Andy at the Glisan store, very helpful and knowledgeable.

My husband and I went to Mattress World today and had an amazing experience with Andy as our sales representative. Stores are just openIng to the public in the midst of the COVID pandemic. We felt very comfortable as we entered the store. Throughout the showroom, there was hand sanitizer, wipes, and plexiglass shields. Side note, they had the best scented hand sanitizer I have smelled during this whole pandemic! When we arrived, Andy put on a mask as we were wearing ours. Once in the store, Andy helped us test and settle on 2 mattresses, pillows, and sheets. He was extremely knowledgeable and asked us questions until we were able to choose the perfect items. I am so pleased with our purchase and the service that Andy provided. When we got home, our teen age daughter asked when she gets to upgrade her bed. Loved that when we walked in the salesman introduced himself and asked if we wanted help or the freedom to browse. He let us know that he was here for us but let us wander and test beds until we were ready for him to assist. Then, he tried his hardest to find us a better deal than what was listed on the bed.
