The team at california closets was professional and efficient from the, designer to the installers. We are happy with our closet and recommend them.

To begin the process of a custom made desk and a TV stand/bookshelf, my consultant, William came and measured & discussed what I wanted. He was very thorough. I went to the shop where he showed me 3D drawings & discussed options. All was carefully explained to me. William was polite, helpful and fun! When the items were ready, the installer (sorry I cant remember his name) was on time and completed the installation and cleaned up the mess afterward. Unfortunately, there was an error in the size of the TV area. I called William, received many apologies and the cabinet was completely redone to my satisfaction. And, it was completed in a timely manner. Thank you California Closets for excellent work! I definately will be contacting them in the future for other projects.

Very professional company. They use CAD programs on site to visualize the design in 3D. Nice clean measurements, quality installation and materials. Its a bit expensive, though, so I had to think twice. In the long run, Im happy with the choice.

Karina did a wonderful job listening to my closet needs, then presenting several designs. We reviewed, revised and came up with the perfect design for my small bedroom. Im very happy with it The only issue I have with California Closets (not Karina) is the estimated cost on a couple of sliding doors for another closet. The estimate of $1,800. seems high for 2 sliding doors and a track.

They came in for one project assessment and we liked it so much we did two more right after. Quality is great and customer service is great. There was no complaints and the final product was well worth the cost. We did our homework and they knew what they were doing.

I had a great closet that came with our house. I had to take the closets off to repaint the master bedroom.I was then told that reinstallation was $1800 dollars and would take a few hours. I asked how much they charge an hour. She told me 100 with a 200 dollar minimum. I asked how much was the closet originally brand new and I was told it was $2200.She then realized her mistake and said they would talk to their engineer to “recalculate” so I was told they would do it for $1500.Safe to say I won’t be using them to get a newer more expensive custom closet because they decided toe be shady.

I was very happy to work with the designer on a entryway. She worked within my budget. It’s just beautiful and even better than what I imagined. The installation was quick and clean. I cannot wait to make another project with them.

CC were FANTASTIC! They well exceeded my expectations! We reached out to a number of home reno firms to build us a custom built shelving and desk unit in our office. None of them got back to us, whereas when we contacted CC, they got back to us within hours. We were able to tell the designer what we wanted and she put a great plan together. And they built and installed the whole thing in a DAY! And cleaned up after themselves, and polished the wood surfaces with a citrus polish before they left. It looked better than I could imagine. Great job and great value for money. Wish we had gotten this done sooner!

I would have to say that our experience with Lauren well beyond our expectations. We had her do a complete wall with TV, wine fridge and built in espresso machine and it has turned out small den in our condo into a lounge. The walk in closet that she did for my wife was also amazing. I would recommend California Closets for any type of project. They even came out to repair and finish a few spots that were not exactly to my liking. This was all done very quickly and professionally.Brian Finlayson

I built a new master suite which included a new closet. While I had heard of California Closets, I originally didnt consider it thinking that it was too expensive. After looking at different options that really didnt excite me, I decided to have California Closets give me a price to do my closet. We love our California Closer installations! We had a walk in closet installed in our primary home. Then we had a cabinet installed in the garage of our second home. In both cases, we are extremely satisfied with them. The walk in closet is used every day, and every day it is a joy! The cabinet in our garage allowed us to organize the entire garage and it now looks spotless. We thought the design and installation process was professional and efficient. Our designer, Alison, listened to our needs and patiently worked with us to come up with fantastic designs. She had great ideas and came up with creative solutions for us. She was great! We said just the other day if we ever moved to another house, California Closets would be at the top of the list for design help!

Have used California Closets over the past thirty years in three different house we still own. Product is well manufactured, properly installed has a great warranty. It provides much more useable space even in reach in type closets.

We worked with Laurie and she did a fantastic job. The bedroom closet was not very functional and with her expertise, we now have a closet that maximizes the space. Ive worked with Laurie before and would work with her again. She is my go to for this type of investment.

Working with California Closets to redesign several spaces in my home was a fantastic experience. William, the designer, came out to the house (with mask!) to see the space during our initial consultation and then spent several hours over Zoom discussing my needs and updating the plans before we created the perfect reading nook and home office/closet space. While I had a plan in mind for the space, I never could have fully imagined what William designed and Ed put together. Absolutely fantastic experience. Karina Guasso got there exactly on time,took exact measurements, did an initial 3D computer layout that was easy for my customers to understand, modified them a couple of times and came up with a design the customers approved of and was able to provide a price right on the spot. She was able to complete the transaction right there at the jobsite in about 2 hours.The next day my customers got an installation date that was earlier than she estimated, which was great! Pretty much a seamless presentation / transaction. Kudos to Karina and her team!!

We needed a Murphy Bed and CC had them in much more modern looking designs VS the other guys! Very good experience from the beginning! Even during Covid... We were able to see the product and design what we wanted, and have it delivered and installed in a timely manner. Lauren was easy to work with, and installer team guys were nice, polite, clean & careful. When a minor mistake was noticed, it was corrected immediately- no questions asked!

We relocated to Portland and downsized from a large single family home to a loft condo. Storage was the first thing on my To Do List. In the height of the Covid-19 Virus shut down, I was able to remotely work with California Closet to design 5 storage units for my condo, including a Murphy Bed, two large closet unites, an entertainment center and a window bench/cabinets. The lady I worked with was fantastic. She had great ideas and was able to send me pictures of the different designs. She patiently worked with me for several weeks through many designs until we had the perfect one. We were just coming out of the shutdown when we finished and I was able to schedule the construction and installation of the units within a 2 week period. The men who came to do the installation were very safe and Covid conscious. The were very professional, efficient, skilled and finished ahead of schedule. They even worked with me to make a few minor adjustments to the design. The quality of the work is excellent, the function is perfect, and everyone loves the look. I would highly recommend California Closet for any storage, entertainment, home office, etc. need.

I ordered by office cabinets just before Covid hit- so there was a delay (on my part) -but once I was comfortable, they sent the installer to our home. We are very satisfied with the result!

I am in the middle of remodeling a condo in downtown Portland and I was looking for a built-in closet and work area. After searching around and going to a couple of different stores I found that California Closets have the most customization and color selection of retailers. They also offer in-house design sessions so you can plan and see exactly what the finished product will look like. Daniel, the designer that I work with, was very thorough and made follow-up emails and calls to make sure that I got exactly what I wanted. Im very happy with the level of service and would recommend this place to others.

California closets did an outstanding job for my wife and I recently. We had a special project in our bedroom whereby we needed more room for closet space. So we asked their design specialist Mindy OBrien for her help with some ideas to give us more room for our clothes, given the confines of the room. Mindy did her homework, came back to us with a terrific idea that used two armoires on both sides of one of our long walls with a space in-between for our beds headboard. It even had recess lighting overhead for night reading and lots of shelving for my wifes many vases. It was a brilliant concept. We ended up getting much more room for our clothes using space we already had that was, up until then, wasted. Mindy is bright, knows her product, and stayed in contact with us all along the way. And she made sure all was right after the project was completed. Shes a winner. The installation was also done in a prompt, professional and skillful manner. We couldnt be more happy with the end results. Well definitely use CC again for any future projects we may have.

We had cabinets installed in our garage four months ago. We emailed with your rep., giving her approximate measurements and what wed like to have built. We exchange several emails and she drew up a preliminary plan for us. We visited the showroom and chose the color and hardware. She came to our home and took measurements. She also worked with us to keep within our budget with suggestions that kept the our cost down. The end result was within our budget and we feel like we got everything we wanted and more. She did a fabulous design job for us. We love the cabinets. They are quality, functional, and attractive.

The quality of California Closet certainly is better than that of IKEA. It you are looking for really high end quality, pay triple times of CC then. The only thing I complain about is their cabinet press style light control which is really hard to operate. Avoid using this kind of light control from CC.

We have had all our closet done by CA closets plus a laundry room and office. The designer comes to the house and helps with the design that you would like. They do all the measurements, then install and its ready to use when they leave.California Closets are the best!

Zero stars. I am a designer and have to say this was not a good finished product. I was very disappointed in the quality and the response to fix the issues. Overall I could have had a better end product going to Ikea and the closet was more than $20K for my client. I do not recommend going this route for a custom looking closet - you will be disappointed if youre looking for something high-end.

This was the third home that we had California Closets installed and was our most pleasant experience. Barbara could not have been more helpful or polite. She was very professional. We are very happy.

I was so impressed by Laurie from California Closets. She listened to my needs and came up with an amazing closet design within my budget. We did all the design via Zoom and once we completed the design she came to my house to measure and double check that the design would be exactly what I wanted. Once the cabinets were built the install team came and did a great job. They were professional, tidy and very skilled. The whole process was so much easier than I expected. We are building a house and I have to say that this is the one thing that was stress free and I am so glad I went with them. We are still not moved in to the house yet, but Im so excited about my master closet that I have been sneaking items to my beautiful new closet!!!
