I’ve been coming here for the past few months and every time it’s been a consistent hit! I have specifically returned to this BR because of the friendly staff. The staff is hard working and remarkably nice to say the least. I think I’ve seen Leah there almost every visit. And I’m glad for it because me coming from NY I never knew what to get, so I would ask for suggestions and EVERY recommendation Leah has given me has been deliciously great. Even when it was busy I never had to wait long. Like the lattes and the breakfast foods, the customer service here is also a sure fire thing.

Just went here for the first time, sweet and patient baristas and delicious coffee!!! One of my best coffee experiences in PDX, thanks to the staff being so kind!

This was my first visit to this location and WOW was I impressed!! I dont know the name of my server (working Thanksgiving morning), but it was the best version of my drink order to date!! Loved it!!

Everyone is always friendly, and makes a good coffee. Its impossible to find a place open late enough for my night shift, so it was great when they opened up!

Our favorite coffee shop for sure! They have amazing owners at this location too! This is for sure the best place to grab a coffee in the Hollywood district!

Coffee is similar to Dutch Bros. More affordable than Starbucks. Quick, friendly service.

Was nice when it first opened to have something different in the area (especially since there are very few breakfast options in hollywood), but now feels like the owner has given up on the store. Staff is still always nice and I give them credit for that. But the pastry case sits nearly empty by 8 am and they dont regularly stock any of their breakfast sandwiches or burritos (the sandwiches are among the most expensive in Portland so thats probably part of the problem - they are tasty though). This means its really unreliable that you can go in and get what you want. Cronuts were cool too though certainly not something you want to get regularly if you value your health :). I assume the coffee is good because I know people love it, but Im a tea/chai latte drinker and from what Ive had their tea is weak and the chai is too sweet/too little spice, even without the whip/cinnamon they offer (which is not at all normal for chai anywhere in the world, even at starbucks despite their foods being heavily sweetened for american audiences).So basically this place seems to be just for the coffee now, which means I sadly no longer have a reason to return. It makes me really sad whenever starbucks is the better option over the local shop. Hollywood really needs more effort from retail owners to help push back on the influx of homeless and waning foot traffic, but those same things make it harder for retailers to do business. Its an unfortunate catch 22. Good luck.

Great coffee and amazing customer service!

Coffees were excellent and the service was very good.

Tiny! 6 bar seats and 2 small tables. Good music, horrible view, coffees ok, the maple croissant doughnut is delish, and this reviewer got great service with a great smile from a cutie. No bathroom (its just outside the door in the Laurel 42). Meh.
