Wonderful fabrics, blankets and small gifts for everyone on your lists.
LOVE the Pendleton Mill Store...I found exactly what I was looking for. Be prepared to spend some time here...I learn something every time!
Beautiful items, but the prices are much higher than the average person can afford. The bins in the back have scraps that can be used for home crafting projects.
For what it is worth, it is perfect. Note to men though, this is womens territory for the most part....be warned....
I was told to check out the Mill by a woman I met at a Seattle craft fair who makes the drive to Portland just for this store. It was totally worth it and I had a lot of fun browsing the fabric bolts and sewing supplies. They also have retail such as clothes, blankets, coffee cups, home decor for those who may not be avid sewers. They have remnant bins available to treasure hunt through and they charged $5 a pound for most and $1 a pound for a select style. I was looking for fabric to make a patchwork quilt with so remnants were perfect and much more affordable. (Some of the pieces were 2m x 1.5ft wide and others were only 8inches wide and a yard wide... it varies in between)Staff at the register were very friendly and talked about sewing projects they were working on and asked what my project was. I will definitely go back next time Im in Portland and probably bring an extra suitcase for fabric 😂.
Such a fun place to go shop. They have just about everything. Including postcards. I have knitting stuff wool yarn they have felting stuff. They have wool fabric by the yard they have clothes knick knacks doggy things chairs decorations its a great place
Great place to find all your woolen crafts.
The staff was really nice. The prices are very high, but we expected that. Good selection.
Not what I expected but lots of things to checkout. Good customer service.
The store is far larger than I was expecting, with plenty of finished products to browse (and even save a little compared to online purchases). More surprising for a guy that doesnt sew or quilt was there stock of unfinished wool. Over half of the warehouse is dedicated to the giant bolts of fabric in every pattern they make, and I would be surprised if there were patterns they dont currently make into blankets. Great place to browse if you are a fan of the Southwest aesthetic.
This store is very attractive inside with lovely displays. It had a decent collection of fabric but not as many pieces that were deeply discounted as I had seen before. The store says Outlet but the prices are the same as they are in regular stores. I recommend this store for lovely Pendleton products.
Excellent experience, enjoyed browsing and shopping in the store
Always love shopping here. Many times you can find some great buys. Classic offerings from this brand.
As always the best place to get Pendleton fabric by the yard. Though prices for merchandise here are close to or at retail, not like the outlet store in washougal, theres a wide range of things here you cant get elsewhere. Ive been stopping in here since the late 1980s and always leave with something for a project.
Great selection, and had some neat remnants.
Such a good place. Beautiful woolens.
Nice clean store with lots of products, fabric and notions for sale.
Love this store! So many great items. Also blanket ends that you can do craft projects with!
Classic. A million high-quality gift options as well as bulk wool and finished products.
The only thing nicer than the product itself was the staff
What a great store. Lots of selection in clothing, blankets, and bags.
The woolen mill store has a selection of Pendleton products - mostly bedding and household items - but what really stands out at this location is that you can buy fabric by the yard. Want to sew your own Pendleton robe or jacket? Heres your supply store. The folks here are very helpful and friendly, always a plus for me.
For years I drove by and never stopped in. I was expecting a warehouse feel for some reason. The reality is it is a wonderful store with gift items for all budgets. You should definitely stop in. Youll find something you cant resist.
Love Pendleton products. Dont miss this unique Pendleton store...lots of fabrics, remnants and a rug making class using Pendleton fabric pieces! Well worth the drive...
Great selection of Pendleton fsbric!
Pretty cool little outlet store. I think the real bargain is the fabrics sold. Sadly were not crafty like that. But if you or someone you know are, then this is great option for fabric hunters.
Lots of things to checkout.
They have great source material cast offs they sell for crafts. If you know how to sew and want a way to get the warmth of a Pendleton blanket without the full price - this is a really good option! Also great for felting and any other projects you can think of doing with wollen products.
Pendleton is my favorite. I wear the shirts literally 7 days a week and have four over a decade. As a furniture builder I recently started upholstering some pieces (cushions) and of course I would want the quality of Pendleton for my work. While the woolen material is bar none, and the selection is great the signage and pricing at this location is pretty sloppy. I bought cuts off a table clearly marked on sale, they rang up at a different price. When I spoke to the lady working she said your right, I can see how youd think that but the product is not as marked. I guess im out of luck. Grateful that my local Pendleton clothing store has a stronger focus on price integrity and service.
If you love fine wool, just go touch and feel your way through the Mill ends. I have so many beautiful finds that I have discovered there. Lucky me😍
Lots of fabric for crafting. Premade items sizes not labeled on blankets. But service was friendly and helpful
As a native Oregonian ...Pendleton wool is a must have. I grew up with Pendleton shirts and blankets. Now they make all kinds of products. Ive been through the mill tour. Ive shopped several outlet stores. I love this store best because I can shop a large selection of yardage and mill ends at discounted prices and diy cheaper. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.
Helpful staff and fun materials. I did note quite a few items that werent from Pendleton - and were in fact from edification places like Korea. Kind of pricey too. Nice to look at the material and dream of the day when I can get a warm Pendleton coat.
Not only do they have beautiful blankets for sale, they have cut yards of wool for sale at great prices.
Stacy was a dream! The store was so much fun, the ideas and items that they and other had come up with were adorable. I wish I was so creative......
Oh The Beautiful Wools! You can create your own designs and they will help along the way.
The store is really cool and they have a ton of wool fabric. They also have other cool home decor and puzzles and blankets. They do have precuts discounted, and some wool roving and bits and pieces of remnants for discounted purchase. Overall it is a pricey store though. They do offer classes and some patterns as well. It is definitely worth a visit when you come to Portland.
They have a scraps bin that I was able to buy a beautiful piece for crafts around my house.
Killer deals on amazing fabric. Employees are super nice too.
I love this place, its like the candy store for beautiful Pendleton wool blankets, fabrics and other items! Such fun!!
The flagship Pendleton store is more than your average Pendleton store. In addition to aisles of blankets and fabric by the yard, they have home goods, some rare and limited stock items, mark downs and defects, even scrap material. If you want to own a Pendleton original this is your stop. If you are interested in a bit of the history they also have a really nice display in the back which shows their entire process.
Beautiful stuff. I could stay here all day. Great deals on Pendleton remments. Great craft ideas and patterns.
I bought yardage fabric here for a chair cushion. Vicky was extremely helpful and pleasant—she even saved me money, advising that based on the dimensions, I didn’t need as much fabric as I thought I did. I don’t sew and her knowledge was invaluable in helping me with my choice.
Love seeing where my favorite wool comes from.Good deals on discontinued styles. Loved going through the scrap bin!
First, I would call ahead to see if the mill is operating as it was not when we visited. From the feedback, it was unclear when it operates. Second, it was disappointing to see that nearly everything in the store was made in China, Taiwan, Mexico, Germany... seemingly anywhere but the USA. The only item I could find in the store labeled as domestic production was the wool blankets. All other blankets, clothing, socks, etc were produced elsewhere. It always irks me when you visit a place that is thought of as a point of local pride or heritage, and its full of foreign goods. I would feel the same if I traveled to China to buy fine silk and found silk goods made in Oregon.
Great experience & customer service! Found out if you order something from them online & have it delivered to this location additional purchases you make in the store are 20% off! Not sure if its literally everything in the store or if there are some exceptions but still pretty cool deal!
Love the fabrics and nick knacks!
Beautiful blankets and wool for the making of. Also a great place to get Oregon gifts.
So many wonderful things
Great selection for all price rangesPendleton quality throughout
Always a great place to buy high quality clothing, blankets and materials to make your own items if you like. Sales staff are really fun and knowledgeable. Thanks everyone :)
Awesome place.. Gonna go back and get me some wool
The staff made my first visit to Pendleton woolen mills a wonderful experience. I plan to visit every time Im in Portland! Im an aspiring fiber artist and love the opportunity to use high quality fabrics found here.
Pendleton Woolen Mill was my first job 47 years ago. The management and employees were wonderful. The items that were and are made there are made with top quality wool. I bought clothes there and they have lasted all these years. You may find other wool at other places but, is it top quality wool like Pendleton Woolen Mill uses? If one is not greeted by an employee when you walk in, my suggestion would be to walk over and say Hello and make your presents known. If when you go to check out and the employees are chatting and you are totally being ignored, I suggest you write down the date, the time you were there and the number of employees that were there (females and or males), then write a letter to the Company.
It was amazing! Everyone in the store were delightful and helpful. The selection was fabulous.
Very cool place. Buy a bunch of remnants or blanket headers and make something yourself, cheaply!
The service was excellent. The prices were much too high. It is fabric, not precious metals.
I found some great deals I material. It was a nice place. I met a elderly lady who gave me great ideas.
They have outstanding sales on the worlds best wool fabric. Everything else is outrageously priced. Occasionally well find good deals. I only use this fabric for my upholstery projects.
Staff is usually not overly welcoming, but great selection of fabric.
As a lifelong Pendleton fan I was hoping to see a little bit more in terms of shirts and to maybe see the manufacturing process. They did however, have a few shirts and I purchased one. The staff is incredibly friendly.
.One of my hobbies is weaving rag rugs and they have a large selection of wool selvedge strips to use. I bought nearly 50 lbs this trip. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Although very pricey, the products are top quality. We bought a beautiful blanket and bag that goes anywhere at home and with us.
Lots of possibilities... Beautiful fabrics, and home items.
Open and great merchandise
High quality items at what youd expect to pay for high-end goods. Fairly decent selection.
Good place for gift ideas. A little pricey, tho.
Friendly, bright, airy space to find hidden wool fabric treasures in the bins per lb, cut fabric for your crafting enjoyment and fun ready-to-do items for your crafty pleasure. A must stop for quilters and visitors needing a truly authentic Oregon made item.
Great selection of fibers, fabrics and Northwest gifts. Employees are knowledgeable and very friendly!
Im from Oregon but now live in CA. Bragged to ev1 how good Pendleton stuff was. Went to store no inventory of hats. In the style I was looking for 1. Maybe 20 hats in the store... Mostly size lg. Went to Cabelas bought 2 hats and a vest. Let me down Pendleton.
Nothing beats the beauty of Pendleton! Excited to get some wonderful things for our new home!
An absolute dream! I want to live here! Whether ypu are looking for ready-to-use clothing, decor, and accessories or woolen fabrics and notions to DIY it, this store will inspire you! I recommend this mill store over the Pendleton, OR location, even!
Good selection of quality wool fabrics and products.
A must see. Awesome blankets an clothing
Beautiful fabric, nice selection of cards and gift items. Knowledgeable staff
Great place to puchase wool, friendly staff.

I always get my Merino wool to spin when Im here.
Awesome place! Excellent customer service here!
I have been to this store many times and they are always friendly and helpful whether you’re buying scraps for a craft project at $5 a pound or blanket fabric at $92 a yard (discounted to $64 a yd for pre cuts and specials). A really amazing place to get ideas and project supply’s. They also have regular classes if you live close.Anytime I’m even close to this store I stop by because they always have something going on and twice a year they have big sales on the fabric on the roll.If your a crafter or even if you just like the blankets, this is a must see in Portland. They have the blanket binding for sell if you want a do it yourself small lap robe.Enjoy!
Very attentive and helpful staff. Good selection of home goods and fabric.
Great store if you want Pendleton products,or wool crafting supplies
Best Pendleton shop for fabric and household goods, however there is a more limited selection for blankets and other items.
Staff very welcoming and nice, love what this store has to offer, go there every time I am in town
