Sales woman was super helpful and knew a lot about luggage. Showed me great options and didn’t pressure me into a purchase, so of course I purchased! Suitcase has been working great for my camera equipment and definitely be back if I need another bag.

We have bought 2 rimowa suitcases here in the last 4 months. We went in today to as one of them the handle has become very unsteady and the wheels are squeaky ... Their response: we cant do any thing for you because it is a luxury item. Great customer service. I try to support local stores but this type of response is why it is becoming more and more impossible to do so. Do not shop here would get better service with the online stores.

Five stars all around! A special thank you to the amazing store manager (Thomas Wright) who helped out my boyfriend and I while visiting Portland at the end of June! We were looking for luggage storage for a few hours before we could check into our vacation rental and ended up here instead of an hourly luggage storage by accident. Not only was the store manager extremely understanding about our mistake, he was very accommodating as well. He stored our luggage in his office while we explored around the city on foot. We had two HUGE suitcases and two carry on bags so you can imagine what a relief it was to have found a place to safely store our stuff.This kindness will not be forgotten. I recommend giving this man and this company all your business! You definitely made our entire week and now I know why youre the manager.Thank you!

Besides the judgmental older lady who gave me attitude right as I came in, they seem to have lots of good things for luggage.Maybe next time instead of focusing on judging people, and focus on helping people they might keep Buisiness inside their store.

This rating is for repair only. The customer service representatives were really awesome people. But the repair is insanely expensive. They quoted me $55 for expedited zip replacement where as got the same fix in same time done at Finks luggage for $15 on same day. May be for purchasing new bag this might be a good place

I bright an Eagle Creek bag here for under warranty repair. They patched everything up within a couple of weeks and the bag looks great. No hassle bringing it in instead of shipping it, and all the folks in store were helpful and nice.Have not shopped here so cant comment on that experience or the pricing.

Good selection, reasonable prices. The choice of salesperson makes a big difference, though. Some (Adel) are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, & patient. For others, its as if youre bothering them to buy something, even though theyre on commission.

I stepped in looking for a duffel bag, and the dude wouldnt stop following me everywhere. I felt most unwelcome. He then just stood in mid store, staring and arms crossed, with an intimidating look. I had to ask him if everything was ok. I asked him if he could help me and he was little attentive. Im not coming back to this store, ever!

Shady service policies. Repairs are not dependable and they always seem to want to make money on warranty repairs. Tried to purchase a couple of screws for my Brigs and Riley luggage. They said I needed to leave it with them for 7-10 days to repair. They tell me they don’t have these screws ( unlikely) and they have to get them from the Vendor. They were willing to do my repair quicker if I wanted to pay them for rush service. Apparently for rush service they have the screws in store.Will never go back there nor will I purchase any luggage from this location.

Buy it nice or buy it twice — and that goes double for the things inside your bags. Great deals from season to season in addition to gear that will last the test of time and the TSA.

For luggage and luggage accessories this is the place. While visiting they helped a nice older lady understand European power adapters; correcting some mistakes she was about to make. This would be the best place for travel hardware or any unusual travel related accessory. Prices were comparable to online.

The repair person fixed my bag beautifully and inexpensively when other stores wouldnt even try.

I own Victorinox luggage with a lifetime warranty, and they are the licensed service dealer here. In the past, whenever Ive had a problem its been fixed or replaced quickly, no questions. But I recently took in a piece where on one corner of the bag, the rubber has completely worn through and the metal frame is starting to stick out - and they say it is just cosmetic, so I guess Im going to have to wait for catastrophic failure to get this repair done. Not happy.

I was in need of help getting a lock open on a bag that i had sold so I took here and that was the best thing i could have done. The two girls that were working really were amazing. They were friendly, happy andto seemed that they really like their job! That is something I havent encountered in a long time. I was well taken care of and will refer anyone i know to go here first for any luggage needs or repairs. Sorry I didnt get your names but thanks again so much!!

Just had another excellent repair experience with Portland Luggage, not only did they do a flawless job repairing the bag I brought in--matching the leather color of the handmade bag exactly--but they actually improved the look of the bag! Very reasonable price as well.

Portland Luggage used to be legendary for quality and service. Sorry to have experienced the degree to which they have fallen. Just visited the Beaverton store with a leather wine tote needing monogram. Sales clerk explained they no longer monogram items, with the exception of those they sell, lest they ruin it. To which I asked, Would you ruin this? and she replied, Yes, I probably would. Have monograms done at Sam Swick and spend your luggage dollars somewhere with more professional staff.

Make sure you read their return policy carefully. You only have 10 days to return an unused item for a refund, and 30 days for a store credit. I tried to return an item past the 30 days and even though it was unused and still had all the tags attached, they refused to let me exchange it for a significantly more expensive item. Needless to say, Ill be purchasing my luggage from Tumi, Nordstrom, or Macys in the future which all have more liberal return policies.

I have purchased many bags - luggage, business briefcases, etc. from Portland Luggage over the years. The young woman we dealt with for a long time, Olena, was an incredibly helpful, trustworthy salesperson. A few months ago, I visited Portland Luggage to replace my large Tumi softside case, which Olena sold us, and was a serviceable piece of luggage, as expected from Tumi. My travel has picked up lately, hence I am replacing cases more frequently. Olena has apparently left the company, so I dealt with a different salesperson. When I asked for a recommendation, he suggested that I upgrade to a Rimowa bag. It has a five year warranty. It is virtually indestructible. I should have done my research - shame on me - and looked more critically at this overpriced piece of junk. One trip with this bag and a wheel was virtually torn off. Look at the bag, it has so much hanging on the outside that it must experience serious damage every time you check it. It appears to be designed to fail. Since my bag was rendered useless after one trip (no connections), I asked for a refund. Nope. Will I ever purchase from Portland Luggage again? Nope.Update - I have now had this bag for 2 (yes, two!) months. I just experienced the second wheel failure where the wheel was rendered useless by a rivet being ripped out. Do not buy this too expensive, ridiculous bag. Portland Luggage - forget about it.....

Service and selection are above and beyond fabulous at Portland Luggage! The Tumi, Rimowa and Burton selections are the best in town.
