Had a great experience with this store multiple times but this is my first review. Jake was pleasant, friendly, and turned my repair around way quicker than expected. Great customer service! Solidified my choice to stick with Tumi thanks to great team members like Jake and Tom at the Washington Square store. Thanks again Jake!
I purchased my backpack from here and I absolutely love it. Most importantly, I was very impress with the level of service and care they provided when I stopped by to look around. I was thinking about looking around and see the one I like so I can order it online later, but our sales associate Tom was super helpful and guided us to the right product. Almost thirty days later, we realized that the item I purchased went on sale, so I called the store and spoke to Jake and asked about the price adjustment policy. He was extremely friendly and professional on the phone and gave me the accurate information I needed to do the price adjustment. Next day, we were able to get the price adjusted and leave happy. Nice job Tumi and please give a shout out to Jake and Tom for their level of service.
Tom was super helpful during our visit! Very kind, informative, and knowledgeable. We were thinking to order my bag online but because of his service, we decided to do our purchase with Tom. He deserves a recognition.Ash
Great store with plenty of selection. Tom (edit: I thought he said his name was Tom, but according to the receipt it is Tung - either way, he was very helpful). How did a great job of presenting all of the options and explaining the differences between them. Of course he tried to upsell us, but he did so very professionally and once it was clear we were looking at one of the sale items, he did not try to force the upsell anymore. Very pleasant experience and Im sure well be back!
Today, I visited your Tumi store within Washington Square Mall in Oregon. I was on my way out of the mall after a couple hours of shopping when I walked by a bag in the window display. I stopped to check prices as I had been comparing bags for a work laptop online and I’ve heard and seen some from Tumi. I walked inside and was greeted by a woman. I said “hi” back. I was wearing a mask so it sounded muffled but I thought she heard me. I proceeded to look at the bag and checked the prices. She asked me if I wanted a demonstration to which I said no. I took a quick glance around and then she asked me if I had seen the bag online to which I said “yea”. Again, I’m wearing a mask but I think she heard me. I forgot what else she asked me, I honestly just wanted to shop on my own. I didn’t want her wasting time as I was just checking prices and was about to head out. She then asked me to leave the store. I looked at her puzzling as I thought I misheard her. I asked her why, to which she responded I was rude. I asked her if it was because I did not want a demonstration to which she repeated I was rude and she was going to call mall security. I was shocked. So I tried to explain I just wanted to shop on my own to which she continued to interrupt me and said “thank you, you can leave now” repeatedly over and over again not allowing me to speak. She did tell me she was the general manager and I don’t care. I would have responded the same way to anyone, knowing she was a general manager didnt change anything. If anything it made me more disappointed with the company. This is why stores are dying, horrible customer service is the reason why people prefer to shop online. I will make sure to tell my colleagues about this experience as this has put a very bad taste in my mouth about Tumi. Customer service used to be a high priority for companies. I am sad to see that it is no longer the case.I will be shopping elsewhere.
Even though more money, it is all worth it.
The products are priced high and the quality is why. Service was excellent
Nice responsive folks.
