Nice little local shop. Got a sweet Ibanez the first time I walked into the place. Decent price and it’s a great guitar. Definitely stop by if your looking for a new guitar, strap, strings, etc.Remember that it is a small store so the guitar selection isn’t massive, but I was pleasantly surprised. Never had the opportunity to play a 12 string acoustic before.

Wandered in one day and Miles helped me pick out and purchase my first guitar. Always great, friendly service. They keep steering me down the right path towards playing blues/ rock electric guitar. They seem fine with all my rookie questions. Thanks

Listened to a performance in the parking area by Jamie. Very good. Original stuff. The store had some older guitars behind the counter on the wall with price tags out of my price range. I asked about the history of some of the instruments. The fellow working there wasnt sure . I guess Im just curious. If I bought someones something, I probably would want to know about its past life.

This is a great shop to check out periodically to see what trade ins theyve come across. Competitively priced goods like strings, sticks, etc. Sales staff has helped me many times with questions even if its about a product they dont have. Would recommend to people in the area.

Great small music store in the village. Has all kinds of instruments and they even have in house lessons. The staff are friendly and often quite musically talented. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing anything regarding music equipment or advice for a human being.

Great location, the parking lot is a little tight, but hey, they have a parking lot! I stopped in for a quick purchase and staff was nice and helped me get in and out really quickly. Local as well!

Cool shop in a part of town that needs it. Its run by Trade Up Music and is worked by very knowledgeable staff who know a lot about music. Basic music shop with all the good stuff, including unique equipment following the shop name, wind, guitars and percussion. Ended up buying a Peavey guitar that I wasnt expecting to buy because it was so different and sounded amazing. I recommend this shop for its good selection of various instruments and music needs.

Selection can be a little thin for electric guitars and amps, but the employees are great.

Best kept secret in Portland. Downstairs: guitars, ukuleles, 2nd hand band instruments, the sweetest, most knowledgeable, low pressure sales staff. Upstairs: Drums, lessons and all things electric.

I went in yesterday 1/4 with my fiancée for a Uke strap didn’t find exactly what we were looking for though the service was amazing. While there I fell in love with an acoustic guitar and went back today to purchase it. Eli helped us and was fantastic!! I would totally recommend this store and Eli!

Dissapointed. When you make a special trip over there and a sign says went to lunch, be back soon. Umm - how about some specifics at least so we know whether its worth waiting or not? Like be back at 1:30 or in 10 minutes...It is a nice shop once you get in.
