I am speechless with the way my Truck looks. I took it to another paint shop and they did a horrible job in my truck. I was told to contact Chad and I did and him and his Maaco team got my truck looking amazing with the Electric Red. I almost didnt notice my truck when I pulled in the lot cause she was beautiful like off the showroom floor. I highly recommend Maaco in Portsmouth to anyone that needs their vehicle painted and the customer service was phenomenal. Great work and I will be back for more work.

I went in to Maaco with a scratch on my brand new Tacoma and Jeff did an amazing job at buffing it out for me!

Let me start by saying my car looks better now than it did before. Now, with that said, Mr. Jerry 5 stars great customer service. My car went in on 4/23/21 and I was told 7 days. They did good about meeting that time but, when I got the car there were areas that had to be redone and the trim around the doors had not been touched. I left the car with them for another 7 days. The 2nd time I went to get the car, the gloss paint like the rest of the car had been done a flat black while the rest of the car was done in a gloss black and I still noticed areas that needed to be fixed. I was told that I would have to wait 30 days before they would be able to repaint the trim around the doors and that it would be another 3 to 4 weeks before they could get the car back to me. I like the fact that the manager offered to fix the problem at no additional cost (trim around the doors) and he was very understanding. I dont like having to leave the car with them a third time and go 3 to 4 weeks without my car.

I had my truck painted over a month ago due to sun damage from being in New Mexico. The paint looks like new and it was definitely worth doing. I recommend this Maaco to anyone who needs their vehicle painted.

I took my car in due to some damage at a car wash. My car wasnt repaired properly the first time, but Chad the general manager was incredible to work with he was very apologetic and extremely nice. Listen things go wrong, but for me its how will management make things right. Chad was respectful and friendly we had some laughs. My sister was given an appt for 10: 15 am on Saturday. Even the website stated they were open from 9-12. Nope they were closed and the main number no one answered. Poor business tactics. All Maaco needs to change from open 9-12 on Saturdays to Closed.

I took my vehicle there to get some rust spots taken care of and painted. Chad the manager was very informative and kept me up to date on the process. So I knew exactly when my vehicle would be ready. Everyone I spoke with there was extremely courteous and Chad went above and beyond in my opinion. Any future work I need done I will be taking it here. I highly recommend to everyone if they are looking for an experienced, honest and reasonable priced shop go here. Ask for Chad. He is the best.

I had the most amazing experience at this place! Welcomed with open arms, understanding and polite staff that felt like family! My father passed when I was young. In his memory I brought his Chevy blazer to Maaco to get painted and they did an OUT OF THIS WORLD JOB! I ugly cried seeing it for the first time picking it up from their shop. I’d recommend them to anyone who’s looking for an outstanding paint job!

Lots of over spray on a piece I had painted. So much that I ended up getting the whole thing repainted. I would not recommend this shop to anyone personally.

I called several places to get a headlight bulb put in my car. I have a vehicle where my bumper has to be removed and trust me you can not get to it through the wheel. Thanks Maaco for doing an outstanding job...being honest & reasonable.

Painted two of my old vehicles due to the paint fading. The turnaround time was reasonable. They look great I always get compliments on the paint job. The staff is friendly and courteous. I recommend this location because of the professionalism and quality of work. I live out of the area but its worth the trip.

Great turn around time and price however my fender does not match my car. I’m not sure if it’s the brand of paint there using but my car is a very bright white(pw7) with no tints whatsoever. Not sure if I’ll go back even for a correction.

Unless you like spending Uber fees to keep having to get your truck fixed the right way just to end up with another problem everytime you leave, I would NEVER recommend this place. Go to people who actually know what theyre doing.

Definitely a good experience. Car looks great! It is more expensive than it was back in the day. Maybe you can haggle a bit and get a better price for the basic job. I didn’t try. Maaco is definitely the way to go when your car just needs to be refreshed. Not expensive and looks new again.

I went to the Maaco in Portsmouth, VA on Turnpike. Amazed at the job they did and the price that they did it for is the icing on the cake. I got the premier paint done, changed the color, and it looks like they did a very thorough job. It also looks like it will last for a long time. I do not regret going to Maaco. A+ to these guys.

Ive used Maaco, on TURNPIKE,before in the past and they did great work. I dropped my 2015 Impala off for bumper and hood work [sand and paint]. I was expecting good work when I picked up my car but when I saw it, I was highly impressed at the immaculate job they did! It was wayyyy pass my expectations! The older gentleman who does the estimates is awesome! The younger guy, who is in charge, does a great job in making sure you are satisfied with the work they performed. Whoever painted my car, needs his own shop..lol. I highly recommend Maaco, on TURNPIKE, to anyone needing body work done to their vehicle.

I wont do business with these guys. I have them their shot. Even though they couldnt technically fix my vehicle, some personal comments were repeated to someone, who in return came to my place of business and tried to start trouble. Was very un-professional of the individual who decided it was their business to repeat my personal opinion of another business.. Nope they lost my trust.

When we picked up the car we noticed another minor scratch that wasnt there before, the manager immediately apologized and fixed our car..and cleaned the car..it looked fabulous, thank you!

Took 3 weeks to get my car back for a job they said would be done by the end of the week. The final day they said it would be done, called that morning and bumper still wasnt on, so to my surprise when they called by that afternoon and said it was ready I couldnt believe it. And exactly what I expected... it looked like a quick rush job. Looked like they just buffered and snapped the bumper on. Maybe an 2 hour job tops that I waited 3 weeks for and paid just under $1000. I guess you get what you pay for.Yes, It was brought in under Boothe.

Had my car for almost 4 weeks and some areas on it wasnt right. My daughter only drove it once before going away that was when we picked it up to take it home. Charged a lot of money so it should of been perfect but not. I should of went to the shop in cradock that was recommended at first. I know better now.

Jerry and Thomas took excellent care of our 1997 Mustang Convertible. It took a beating during the past winter and some of the paint was starting to chip and peel. Maaco made it look like new. Very impressed with their attention to detail. They even masked the Mustang logo on the bumper. They delivered at the exact amount quoted. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation and they have earned my business.Update: Maaco did such a great job on our Mustang Convertible we decided to have our Toyota Yaris painted as well. I took my truck to MAACO and asked for a complete new paint job, a new rear bumper, and heavy damage to a quarter panel to be repaired, and on top of that to have them bring in an electrician to wire my new headlights and install tail lights. They had all of this done within 10 days and it looks great. Absolutely wouldn’t take my vehicles anywhere else for repairs.

I needed two doors fixed on my suburban and it took a minute for them to do it but they told me why and I could not be more happy with the work done. Jerry was fantastic in his assessment of my needs and I would fully recommend this maaco

Outstanding body work and paint! The shop manager, Thomas repaired dents on my college age sons Infiniti G35. We decided to repaint the entire car because there was damage on 3 of the 4 bumpers. The staff was great to talk to and learn more about paint and giving me an honest quote and then actually beat there initial first quote. The bad was that once I got my vehicle back there was overspray galore on my vehicle. Inside the fender wells and all over the door handles. It was crazy to see the amount of overspray. Also they put a huge scratch in my grille from the sander. They didn’t care to admit to it. The paint job turned out great except for the few things that I thought were wrong. I would recommend them for small jobs and anything that you don’t need to be show car worthy.

Outstanding work- exceeded all my expectations. I came in dreading the experience, but working with Thomas was a pleasure. He talked me through what would be fixed, where special attention would be paid, pricing options, paint options.. I was skeptical, but reassured when I walked through the shop and saw the attention to detail they paid on others vehicles.When I got my car back after just 5 days it was a brand new car. If anything comes up in the future, these are my go-to guys.EDIT: When I said 5 days, the entirety of my car was stripped of old paint, a large impact point in the front left of my car was repaired, lots of deformities on the back bumper were smoothed over, and just about all rust on the body was taken care of. Also, the entirety of the car was repainted expertly.

These guys are amazing! I bought an older Corvette which had been spray painted and looked awful. I took it to Maaco and Chad and the guys totally turned it around. Because of the chemicals in the spray paint when they originally tested it with their paint it had awful blistering but they sanded it down as far as the could (at no extra cost, I might add) until they were fairly certain that it wouldnt cause any issues. It ended up looking amazing! What I loved most is that they had updates for us every single step of the way and invited us out during each step to see progress/show us potential issues/etc. It was a really nice feeling knowing that they wanted us to be part of the process, rather than just doing whatever and charging us afterwards for it. Would highly recommend!

Great experience dealing with Maaco. My car got into an accident right during the Christmas season, Unfortunately I was stuck at work the most the time, which left me dealing with Macco over the phone. Jerry did everything he could possibly do to accommodate me, including emailing authorization forms and letting me fax back to saving me almost $300 off my deductible from the insurance company. Every Phone call and concern was handled in a professional manor. I would highly recommend, this repair shop. Picked up my car this morning and couldnt even tell it had ever been in an accident. Had a last minute repair in order to get a window fixed. Maaco was able to do it that day so I could still get the window fixed!!

This is one of the better Maaco this Maaco actually does the job right the first time. I had two vehicles painted from five years ago they still look awesome .

I took 8 rim center caps to the Portsmouth Maaco location to be painted. I was assured by the person at the front that my center caps would be ready for pick up in about 3-4 days however after numerous delays and excuses on their behalf such as the paint guy not being at work, other cars needing to be put out, and difficulty taping off the rims, I received my rim center caps two weeks later. To make matters worse, the quality of work was poor, paint spots were on areas that should have been taped off. I would not recommend this location.
