I’ve eaten sushi every place in and around San Diego. This grocery store, shocking as may be, has the BEST fresh sushi!!!!! How the heck is this possible. Whom ever is making this stuff should open their own place!!!

I enjoy shopping in an old fashioned market with fresh meat, fish, produce, and easy to find items; As opposed to the giant warehouse stores that have become so popular these days. Its all a big rip off!You get good value at Stater Bros.

Longtime customer of this store. My first career was in the supermarket business, so I notice all the things I used to have to deal with for a decade. Sad to see all the changes over the past few years here, the biggest is the removal of tons of skus, replacing national and specialty brands with Stater Bros house brands. I also realize theres supply side issues, but this store still has lots of empty slots, which I see other markets, including other Stater Bros have been able to fill. Today I went in and the store reeked of a meat department that desperately needed cleaning. Unusual for this location, but a signal management is letting things slide. When I see this happening in a supermarket like this, regardless of which chain, it tells me theres pressure from upper management to increase profits. Maybe competition is getting too fierce. Ive always enjoyed this store. I hope they turn this store around eventually.

One of the best grocery stores to buy meats in Poway. But the selection of international foods seems smaller than at Albertsons. However, Stater bros has been consistently well managed for years and has a good and fresh selection of most foods.

Stater Brothers is our go to supermarket for staple groceries as well as the occasional special. The butchers here are extraordinarily helpful, and always willing to help with a special cut. This particular store easily has the friendliest cashiers in town!

I love the neighborhood feel of Stater Bros stores. Especially in a more close-knit town like Poway.

The prices are great especially for meat. They have a great meat counter in the back. The store is very clean and well-organized.

Great meat selection at the butcher counter!

Everything was neat and located easily. The deli workers were polite and got exactly what I needed. It seemed fresh and clean. The checkout lines were a little confusing, people started merging into other lines, more so on the customers than the line set up in my opinion, but could be adjusted slightly.

Used to be really good. Customer service is lacking. Lines are slow. No self check out for express lines. Its a pretty poor shopping experience.

Had what I needed prices were great easy checkout and friendly people

I needed freezer storage bags and vodka. I was in/out within 6 minutes. The greeter wiped/sanitized my cart as I entered and they seem to practice social distancing well. Kudos

This was my first visit to Stater Bros. Markets. Everyone was incredibly friendly and willing to help with anything you need. The isles are nice and wide. The store is well organized. Literally the cleanest most well put together store Ive been in since moving to California.

I Love this Stater Brothers Market. It is very clean, carts are individually sanitized- there is physically a worker there sanitizing each cart. The Salmon Suchi is sooo delicious!😋 The Fresh Alaskan Salmon is really Fresh & it is the Best place to buy the Fresh Salmon!! I recommend it hands down!!👍👍👍👏 Overall a 5 *****

This is my favorite store out of all the grocery stores in and around Poway. Joe great Job!They where out of the 6 pack 8oz. Cans of Sprite! Which surprised me! But so was everyone else! Everyone that works there are nice and very professional. The atmosphere when you walk in is like what a grocery store should be like! I just hope they dont change their repertoire. Thank you Poway Stater brothers! Your the Best!

Employees are friendly and store is clean. Although employees were friendly their deli is not good.Their fried chicken had no flavor (if your eating fried chicken you might as well use a little salt). The checker was friendly but couldnt wait to leave and go back to whatever else she was doing. She was gone before we even left the checkstand. Over all not my first choice to do shopping.

Good meats

I have shopped here with my family for most of my life. Groceries;meat counter, hot;cold food plus all the alcohol you can buy. This location has never let me down for my food and beverage needs. Especially during the fourth of July weekend.

Store is clean and well kept. Meats are great cuts, well selected and better priced than most area competitors.

They have everything plus friendly, helpful staff. I was able to bring my own bags which was nice.

This Supermarket has been a staple for whoever lives in poway and is a great place for deals and their excellent deli options. The stores recent renovation has been a great improvement to the overall appearance as well as the new vinyl flooring. My only complaint is the recent re-arrangement of the aisles where as i could find everything in the store before but now i cant find even the simplest of things. Great place to shop through and through.

They have the best ever Fried Chicken in the Deli that is always on sale and great for a quick meal. Cakes in the Bakery are delicious too. They have good digital deals and the Meat department isnt too bad they always have a good sale on something. Have to say they have a good Veggie and Fruit Department too.

Dang... Ive been shopping here for about a decade and spend at least $10,000 a year there. I recently was hated on and refused rain checks. This place used to be awesome. It SUCKS BAD now. SMFH.

All the employees here are super cool! ANYTIME Im there, theyre always remembering to say hello.. Even when theyre busy! They sure know how to make people feel special! :) Also, when lines are crazy, they know how to work AND make sure the customer in front (talking a bunch) knows theyre still listening to them.. Lol, its awesome.

Stater Brothers has very friendly checkers. I am not a fan of how they rearranged all the aisles but last time we went they had large new signs identifying each aisle as to its content so that was a good step in the right direction. We shop on Friday night...often their produce is not that great. Other times it is okay. No consistency on the quality of their produce. It is difficult to find certain items because they are not in the baking aisle, a logical choice for something I use in baking, nope not in the raisin aisle so where were the dried wine grape raisins? In produce area in a corner in the dark. Had to ask about that one. And we only found them by ourselves because the person we asked did not know the store had any...found them after we went to Sprouts instead.

This is the best grocery store in Poway. Customer service is outstanding. I never shop anywhere else. Their prices for regular items is the lowest.

The Staters on Beaumont Ave is my favorite Staters. They have a full service Deli and Bakery, they provide great deals and if you get the app there are bonus deals. They have excellent customer service as well. If you go for the fried chicken deal, call ahead and they will put some aside for you when its selling quickly.

The only place I could find good fresh green beans at a good price too.

They got a wide selection of beers and spirits fair priced. I love the meat selections. The tri-tip and ribeyes are very decent. Butchers there are grade a guys. If it aint ready the will get it ready for you. I been shopping the poway one for bout 5 years now and have never had a bad experience..Keep up the awesome work..

Great prices, always well stocked, fresh produce, fast checkout, and good variety of products! The bakery department made us a custom cake for our coworkers last day. The lady who took my cake order was very patient with my indecisiveness (thank you!). Everyone loved it and it was nicely decorated. We got chocolate buttercream frosting, raspberry filling, and chocolate cake.
