I called the same day to see if anyone could repair my ac. The father, sorry but I forgot his name, told me to come in now. He was so nice and had the sweetest dog. Well, after a whole day of looking at my car between other vehicles he called and told me he wasnt able to get to the part that was the possible cause of the issue and recommended me going to an ac repair shop. I asked him how much and to my surprise, there was no charge!! He said since he didnt fix anything, he couldnt charge me! I was overjoyed and blessed to have met such an honest mechanic in 2021. Ill be sending more business his way.

Our company has been trusting our small fleet of vehicles to Butler Automotive for many years now, and we have recommended him to many friends. Kenny is a rare breed: an honest mechanic! He only makes repairs that are truly needed to extend the life of our vehicles, and unlike many, does not try to add in unnecessary and expensive work. As many others in our company, I trust him to care for my personal cars, and do so honestly.

I called first and advised on my cars issue. They asked if I could bring the car in so they could take a look. I obliged and took my car in first thing in the morning 9:30am. I called back around noon and they asked if I could leave it overnight; I said ok.I called in the next day around the afternoon and was told they were going to look into the necessary part and I could pick my car up for the weekend as they were closed and was advised to return Monday morning to complete repairs. I called on Monday morning around 9am and he advised that they couldnt locate the part. They also couldnt provide any expectation for me as to when I could expect results and instead advised me to reach out after the holidays if I didnt hear from them first.The holidays would need another week or so to pass. I never heard back from them after the holidays, and I didnt bother to reach out. The person I spoke to also couldnt even recommend that I drive the car or not sure to the issue (s) instead he asked me if I was able to drive it. They had my car for a day and a half and couldnt give me any idea.I did get my car repaired at another location in the mean time. All it took was for me to explain the issue, drop my car off, and I got my car back repaired the next day; no hoops to jump through and didnt have to wait a week or more. I assume they just didnt want my business for whatever reason and thats fine, but at least be upfront and not strong me along.

The most honest mechanic I have ever taken my vehicle to. It is local and family owned. I feel comfortable leaving my car there to worked out. Ken is wonderful and so is his helper. Very affordable and will not rip you off like some or what seems most mechanics. He only charged $90 for something that another shop tried to get $400 for...I refer everyone to this shop.

Weve been taking our cars to Kenny for at least 15 years now, after our good friends recommended his services. He is extremely honest and will do his best to find used or refurbished parts to keep your costs low. The only negative thing I can say about his shop, is that his place in Powder Springs requires a couple hours round trip from East Cobb, but the drive is still worth it because of the honest and awesome service!

Very efficient and skillful service and excellent value for money. They made a repair that several other auto shops wouldnt even try. Many of my colleagues and my work also take cars here for servicing, and I will also be back.

Great local repair shop

. . . cant think of a better place to take your vehicles, you wont get ripped-off and they know what theyre doing, (sometimes they overbook but you have to expect that from a good/honest shop)

My husband brought our 2005 Chevy Trailblazer in with some issues (shaking/vibration, check engine light, and making a loud whistling sound). To be fair, it is an old truck and it has a lot of miles, but is a pretty good truck otherwise. We were told that it was repaired and could be picked up. However, we had to wait until we could cover the costs to pick it up. Once we had the money, I went and picked the vehicle up. I didnt even make it home! My truck would not go past 20 mph and it was leaking fluid. A kind gentleman riding behind me offered to push me to the nearest parking lot where I called my husband and he in turn called Butler Automotive. They came to my location, picked the truck up, and took it back to the shop. A month later, we are still without transportation.I am a stay at home mom of 3 young kids, one of my children has a chronic illness that requires weekly appointments to physical therapy and sometimes trips to his specialist at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. Since our other truck only seats 2 and my husband uses it for work, it does not accommodate a family of 5. I have been spending so much money on Ubers or having to cancel appointments all together. My husband and I have been calling for updates and he even made a trip to the shop to check, but the shop is not calling us or keeping us updated at all!I feel that because we paid for the service previously, our vehicle should have been a priority. My husband and I have tried to remained professional, but this is beyond frustrating! If my vehicle was beyond repair, I wish that we had been told that before we paid so much money. I will be finding out what steps to take next!

Ive been bringing vehicles to Kenny and his crew since they were located at their previous location in Marietta. Ive brought him everything from a catastrophic failure tow-in to an inspection before a road trip. Kenny always gives you his best. He is a master of his craft. Better yet, he is an honest and big hearted gentleman. Kenny and Butler Automotive are the only people I trust in Georgia with my vehicles.

Kenny gave us an estimate, then charged us $200 less than anticipated. Integrity. And a pleasant, funny guy! We have trusted him for years.

I have never been more comfortable with an auto shop than when I go to Butlers. Kenny is a man of his word, and his son is hard-working, courteous, and competent. It is rare to find a place that is both good and honest, but Butlers is the model for both of those characteristics.

Most honest mechanic Ive ever encountered and Ive been to a number of them. He tells you whats exactly wrong with your car and doesnt find other problems to fix.

Im a shade tree mechanic but when I have a problem I cant handle I go to Butler. I have never been disappointed.
