One of the best icecream shops in Princeton.Rustic look with all wooden fixtures and worn down tables completes the PUB atmosphere. Ice cream flavors and selection are great especially coffee ones. Very nice and helpful wait staff. Lines can be long because of popularity and the weather, so be ready to wait a little. You even get half scoop here.

The ice cream was good but the staff there was extremely rude and treated people differently for no reason. She talked really friendly with the customer in front of me and when it was my turn to order, she didn’t greeting or even looked at me at all. Looking down to the floor and asked what I want with a very cold voice and give a half scoop of ice cream even I ordered one. I had no idea why I was treated that way in a one minute ordering process… will ask all my friends stop coming to this store.

Love their ice cream- the best! But they’ve been closed a lot lately at odd hours. Says they’re open online but a sign on the door “will open at 4:30”… went to Princeton especially for Halo ice cream twice in the last few weeks just to see they are closed during the day… bummer!

Halo Pub, and Halo Ice Cream in general, is the best ice cream I have ever had. I have enjoyed many a scoop from other ice cream shops in town, such as Bent Spoon, and Thomas Sweet, but this is by far the best. The quality of the ice cream is outstanding, each flavor so uniquely rich, and sweet. Yet, the best part of all, is that it is very cheap compared to local shops. Three scoops here costs you just about as much as one at the Bent Spoon. Amazing quality, and great price. 10/10 Would reccomend.

Yummy ice cream with lots of fun choices. Plenty of staff kept the line moving fast! We appreciated that they were accessible for people in wheelchairs! Lots of indoor seating and even free water!

Always great! Delicious, fresh, store made icecream. 😋 We got vanilla chocolate almond and creme de mint chocolate chip. We both enjoyed our choices on a sugar cone. Reasonably priced too. Service was quick and polite.

Now mind you, I don’t ever... ever ever everrr.... post reviews online but this one had me. I must say that this was some really good ice cream. My all time favorites are the rum and raisin and the cookies and cream. The first week I tried it I was there almost 5 times. (Don’t judge me). Pretty good and quick service too.

The day I went they were just straight-up mopping which was a little bizarre to do when youre open. But the ice cream was great for a cold winter day. I did feel a bit rushed even though there was only one other person in the store but no big deal

THE BEST! For me its Halo Pub on the East Coast vs. McConnels on the west coast (santa barbara). They make the ice cream from cows on their own farm in local New Jersey! And the quality you can taste.Literally there are ZERO bad flavors here. The Heath Bar and the Pecan Praline are my favorites but you literally cant miss.

Serving best dairy items in Princeton town. This place is located nearer to very famous Princeton university. They have their own dairy which helps them to make truely amazing dairy items. I loved their ice cream as it is totally different from other brands. You can definitely try anything over here.

Sometimes there is live music right next to the shop in the alley. So many flavors! I went with a simpler choice and was not disappointed.

Some of the best chocolate ice cream Ive had in my life. And I dont even eat ice cream because Im a health freak but I would spend a lot of cheat days here if I could lol. Something about the freshness of the ice cream really brings out the rich flavor, I really noticed it in the chocolate ice cream and the chocolate chip cookie dough was on point also.

Great ice cream -- lots of flavors to choose from and I havent had a bad one yet. They are very accommodating to help out parties with nut allergies. (The facility is NOT nut-free but they have opened new containers for us, washed the scoops, etc. to minimize any cross contamination issues.) Seating is limited but manageable even when busy. Located right in downtown so its a convenient place to stop in while doing other business/pleasure in the area.

One of my favorite ice cream places in Princeton. Almost all flavors are simply AMAZING. I would recommend the mango flavor. Halo Pub is a more spacious and there is a nice seating area right next door at Halo Fete where you can find ice cream cakes as well.

Halo Pub is probably my favorite ice cream parlor. They have a variety of great flavors, but my go to is their cookies n cream. Their ice cream is always fresh. Plus I believe that they source the milk for the ice cream from their own dairy. This is definitely the place to get ice cream if youre in Princeton.

Halo Pub is a must while visiting Princeton. High quality ice cream and coffee, dirt cheap pricing. Who could ask for anything more?

Always a good time when ice cream is involved! Halo Pub provides consistently good ice cream. It’s been a Princeton staple for as long as I could remember. Gets busy during the summer months but I recommend stopping by (especially while doing a late night stroll around town).

My entire family loves the variety of ice cream. Its a big treat. Delicious & awesome. People who have not tried should give this place a try for its variety & quality. My kids want to go there atleast once every month. Ambience is good even though it is a small joint. There are benches outside to sit chat, & eat.

Small cafe also with a nice selection of delicious ice cream and gourmet ice cream desserts. Its not nearly as popular as the nearby Small World Cafe or Starbucks, but thats why I prefer Halo Pub. Also, the coffee drinks and ice cream are among the cheapest in town. This place has its own character. Its an easier place to stop in the early morning than the other cafes I mentioned.

Nut and fruit flavors are the best ones for certain. Half half single is the way to win, just the perfect amount of ice cream.For some reason most of the time I come in it smells heavily of cleaning products, like simple green or something like that. So you know, get it to go.

Creamy, not overwhelming rich, and inexpensive. Under $8 for three one scoop ice creams on a cone. Overall, very good ice cream but I’ve had better, especially throughout neighboring Pennsylvania, so I think it might be hyped up a little.

Loved the soft chocolate, tasted like there were small bits of cocoa flecks in there that really brought out the flavor.

A friend of mine brought me here and I am glad she did. The ice cream tastes so fresh and home like that it reminded me of my grandma’s home made ice cream. They offer really nice flavors that can be enjoyed by both the kids and the adults. The parlor is located in a really cute town so that is a definite plus!

Me and my friend Kylie went to Halo Pub yesterday, the wait was super fast and the ice cream was extremely thick and delicious. I love there mango flavor, the staff seemed decently nice. Would recommend if you have a sweet tooth for creamy chocolate.

The fam and I went to halo pub yesterday, you know us the night’s not over until we stuff our faces with ice cream! I got the chocolate, good pretty ordinary. People say that I need to be more exciting and try something different, I tell them to mind their own business I never asked them how I should be living my life! My special little friend had the chocolate strawberry, she said chocolate was good, strawberry good, but together tastes like cough medicine! Overall cute place, solid ice cream, but it doesn’t keep me up at night craving it. I’m not in front of the store at 5am praying to the ice cream god for it to open like I am at certain other places.

Had a difficult time deciding with the large variety of flavours they offer. It was delicious and tasted so good. Only thing I would suggest is to have a better way of scooping. We had 4 double scoops and unfortunately the last persons was much smaller than the rest (it was the one we went to celebrate Fathers Day with and for). Definitely worth stopping.
