Great experience with this shop. They managed to track down a specific shifter I needed that was out of stock everywhere and have it shipped from Florida. Once it arrived, they had it installed the next day, and all of the communication along the way was quick and easy over text.

I brought two bikes in yesterday for tune up and repair and I was shocked that they were all ready for pick up in less than 24 hours. The best part was the service. My bikes were thoroughly inspected in front of me. I was instructed what needed repair. I was told about different options so that I could choose what fit best in my budget. Every question I had was answered in a kind friendly manner. They care about doing a great job. I would strongly recommend them to my family and friends.

Stopped in on a busy Saturday and asked if they could fix a spoke same day. They were happy to do it and while we were at it I asked if they could put new ties on. All good. They texted me about 90 minutes later when it was done. Great service/great shop/super people

Excellent service, friendly and professional. You definitely pay the retail rate but it’s always worth it in the long run. Top of the line components, thorough inspection, meticulous workmanship. I’ve bought bikes and had bikes repaired and serviced here since 2009.This time I had a plethora of repairs- plus components for my new (used) GT Transeo. I had the handlebar stem replaced with one that will allow me to be more upright - didn’t know the trade offs would be so drastic for a 2” increase. It improves comfort but impacts performance. Hell, just turned 50. I’ll try comfort for a year or two. DASH 👍

Originally went to a bike shop closer to my house that had recently been bought out by a large bike manufacturer. Horrible experience. Made me feel like a jerk for wanting a more “entry-level” MTB.Josh at Dash was super helpful, really listening to what I wanted, and make sure the Kona MTB I purchased was right. Plus he helped me kit it out with essentials and installed everything for me.Dash is just a super chill bike shop with knowledgeable staff and competitive pricing. Plain and simple!

I had a bike shipped to Dash from Hamilton, Mt. the day my daughter arrived for graduate school at RISD. They had it ready-which was three days after they initially said they could get it done. This means that they read my text to them-and someone in the shop decided to put it together the day she arrived. Great customer service in my mind. If college tuition were as inexpensive and businesses were as responsive as Dash, the world would be a better place.

Dash remains my go-to place. Years ago I was served with kindness and support with my renewed biking interest. Today, the kindness was in full bloom- Josh was patient, instructive, in assessing the bikes and also helpful in demonstrating how to load bikes in a new ( to me) bike rack. All of this, while a young neighborhood kid, and friends, fixed a flat tire for the first time. He only had money for the inner tube. So, as neighbors do, he propped his bike outside and asked to borrow tools while he tackled the fix with staff “dropping by” with a watchful eye and helping hand. What a great vibe !!!! It’s real.

Today was my first visit to Dash Bicycle Shop. I brought my bike in for a tune-up and to replace a few parts. Josh, a tall young man, thoroughly examined my bike and explained what was working well and what was problematic. I had quite a few questions, which he answered completely. My bike will be ready and roadworthy within a week. I am extremely satisfied with my first trip to the Dash Bicycle Shop.

My experience getting a new bike at Dash was nothing short of awesome! I had emailed the shop asking if they had any bikes in stock for someone of my height and heard back that same day. I went by the shop the next day to give the two available bikes a test ride, and felt no rush or pressure to make a decision/purchase. I had decided on buying a bike, and the employee who was helping me made some minor modifications to the bike to make it more comfortable for me. Ill definitely be back to Dash!

After initially feeling a bit deflated about finding the perfect bike, since I decided to finally bite to bullet during a national bike shortage, I got real lucky and happened to find my dream bike with Dash. When I called in to inquire about availability and details of the bike I viewed in their online store, Josh was helpful, friendly and positive. All things that are super appreciated when it’s your first bike purchase .I made the appointment with him to look, test drive, and ultimately purchased same day. Someone attempted to steal my bike from my apartment complex, and though they succeeded in stripping it of some parts, they failed to get it out of the garage. They were probably interrupted by a resident returning to the garage, but I’ll never know. My bike is not “expensive “ but it was a big investment for me, and I was crushed when I found it dismantled and discarded in a pile in a dark corner.Joe assessed the missing parts and gave me a very fair price to replace them. He also checked my bike for safety before returning it to ensure there was no unseen damage that could make it risky to ride.I am so very thankful for small local businesses like Dash that take a genuine interest in improving the lives of those they come in contact with.They have earned a loyal customer for life!

Even thought they sell and service some very fancy bikes, they made me feel very comfortable talking about what was needed and whether it was worth it ( it was). 1st visit - Changed my tire in about 15 minutes. Super quick service, friendly staff, clean building, and the Nitro bar offers great coffee!2nd visit - Installed new chain rings and cassette (I upgraded) and got it done faster than promised.

Making an appointment was easy. The tech met with me, showed me the gash in the tire and warped rim, and ran down the options. He took care of it in under an hour while I ran to Urban Greens for some groceries and grabbed a beverage from Nitro Bar, next door to Dash. The whole experience was pleasant so they now have my business going forward.

Went there in January . The staff at the shop were very friendly. They even warned us about how bad the cold will get . With their help we were able to find and bike the East Bay Bike Path. The bike we rented were perfect . I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to explore Providence by bike .
