Do NOT have Marilin cut your hair, she is like a two year old cutting their own hair! WORST haircut ever. I asked for an inch off the bottom, my hair was below my shoulders, and to straighten out my layers. I ended up with a mullet and choppy hair, nothing was even. The front ended up being cut to just below my jaw. She kept cutting my hair trying to fix her mistakes.I had taken off my glasses and cant see without them, when I put them on, I was HORRIFIED at what I saw. I had to tell her to fing stop!

My hair has NEVER looked as beautiful as it does now after leaving this salon. I got worked on by Emi and she truly is a hair artist. The other hairdressers and receptionists were all so sweet and very kind. I feel so great about my hair and I will not go anywhere else. Thank you guys!

I came in yesterday at 3:30 for a blonde balayage with almost black on top! I am now a ginger! Please tell me how this makes any sense! I was given an estimate of 230$ came out to 271.38! Manager is never available from the sounds of it! And getting assistance is becoming quite difficult. Won’t even give me my money back!

Love coming here the people are not afraid to take time working on your hair and get it just the way you want it and I can realy appreciate that

Jenni did a great job on my cut and color. She wasn’t overly chatty but that was perfectly okay with me. The stylist next to us was talking enough for everyone on our side of the room lol. I will be back to see Jenni again.

My dad and me went there and it was amazing. My hair was professional styled and it turned out perfect. My dad had a haircut and he said he liked it and it felt and looked clean. Definitely go again!

The lady who was going to do my hair did not have a clue on anything. I told her i wanted to do my hair the same as the time before. She said she could not. I asked why since i have done the same hair color for the last 2 year with them and she couldnt give me an answer. I then said fine do an all over color and she wanted to charge me $80.00 more than what they charged. I decided to leave and went to another salon in the mall. Before this happen i have always had a good experience with them.

Some of the staff are nice but lack any experience with cutting hair. They did horrible jobs on my kids and my hair. Which is the main reason we are coming in. I could have done a much more decent job and thats saying alot. Maybe its the stylist that they gave us I dont know what it was but it seems as if these ladies are still in cosmetology school and they are just practicing. It was horrific. I even specified in detail exactly what I wanted and they couldnt even follow simple instructions. Ive given this place the benefit of the doubt the first time but now that Ive gone back and it was still bad I will not be going back again. They should inform people that these ladies arent professional or are still in school or just fresh out. This place is not like high end real professional salon with real experience otherwise my childrens and my hair wouldnt have all been messed up.

One of the worst haircuts Ive ever had

Walked in and sat there for 20 min waited for SOMEONE, ANYONE ...to ask if they could help us or if we had an appointment...NOPE not even an acknowledgment. THAT IS CRAZY. I have been to JCPenny Salons for over 20 years (never in Puyallup) and NEVER been ignored. Not a place I would go ever again! They are lucky they are in a mall or else this business practice would not last!

Had to leave and go to another’s salon. Made an appointment showed up and they were unable to color my hair the color I wanted unless they order the color. But when I made the appointment I ask if they had that color and they said yes!

I usually dont write reviews but when I got home and saw that I know have BANGS from over processing the bleach in my hair, I chose to warn others so it won’t happen to them!! My hairdresser was Darian,I saw her Hair portfolio on Instagram and loved the Tone I had seen on some of her Other clients so figured I’d come in and give her a try....Long story short, during my visit she had explained to Me she makes Hourly + Commision and that the hairdressers are at liberty to create whatever price they see fit. I didn’t get a haircut and it ended up being $165 which I thought was A lot for a JCPenney Salon, no offense in any way just thought that was more of Boutique Salon price but that was the Least of my worries.She had gotten food dropped off (which was fine, we all gotta eat lol) HOWEVER while she put me under the heat to process, she didn’t return for almost 35 minutes, which in turn chemically BURNT the front of my hair giving me more bangs than I’ve had in my whole life. So sad and so dissapionted!!Called to try and at least let the manager know, I guess she was on vacation and was told She would call me back the Monday she returns....And again No call or anything. Bad hairdresser, Bad Response and overall headache!

The price was resonable

I have had my hair higlighted for over 16 years, thus girl made my hair highlighted orange and it was out more than a 1/4 from the scalp. Ver poor repour if you ask me. I used to LOVE JCP. So sad.
