After spending the better part of the day trying to figure out why the check engine light was on in my Mini, including my regular mechanic not having access to the diagnostics and a VERY disappointing trip to the southShore Mini dealership where I had an appointment midday and was told they couldn’t look at until tomorrow AND there were no loaner cars!! First he told me he was booked up today but I explained my situation- he told me to come in and in 5 minutes he diagnosed and fixed the problem which ended up being something very minor. Foreign Motorcars is my go-to service and repair mechanic for my BMW. Most recently, I contacted Foreign via their webform for an engine problem that occurred that evening. I was impressed and relieved to hear back from David that same evening to slot me in for service the next day. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I called and spoke with “David” I believe. I asked him how much a brake job for my vehicle would cost he quoted me at $1500 for everything front and back. I asked how much if I had the parts which are OEM (BMW), he then said “I really make money on parts so idk” I asked for a ballpark estimate to which he said $700. I told him that seemed a little expensive and I’d have to think about it, to which he replied “go ahead I’m not too excited to do it anyways” after calling around and speaking to many other shops in the area I found a shop that would do it for $400. I drive by this location all the time, always thought it was nice and was looking to be a customer of theirs but after my interaction with David I will keep driving by and pay them no mind, horrible customer service.

After a recent visit to my BMW dealer for an oil change, I was told by my service advisor that my 2016 X3 was in need for front and rear brakes/rotors based on the FREE diagnostic that is part of the service appointment. I took my X3 over to Dave @Foreign Motors BMW and his inspection of my brakes revealed that I had at least 6 months of brake pad left before replacement. I brought my X3 back to him last week and he replaced the rear pads/rotors only, saving me quite a bit of money! He also diagnosed a worn wheel bearing that needed replacement. The irritating whine coming from my X3 during highway driving sounded like a high-pitched jet engine. The dealer told me that it was run flat tires causing the sound. Dave got it right and the noise is gone! Ditch your dealer and have your BMW serviced by Dave and his team @Foreign Motorcars BMW!

I also appreciate the honesty - I had suggested my rear brakes needed replacing due to the sensor telling me so, they checked it out and told me it wasn’t necessary. Last month I bought a 1986 Corvette from Kyle at Foreign Motorcars. As this is my first Google review, I realized customers like me would only do a review if the experience was completely awful, and I wanted to warn future potential buyers, or, if the experience was so exceptional, I want others to know about it as well. In this case, I was so overwhelmed with how wonderful my experience was. I had two 1986 corvettes in my youth, and began searching for an extremely low mile turnkey 86 and came across a website which had an 86 with 6,000 original miles listed by Foreign Motorcars. I called and spoke to Kyle who was completely honest from the beginning. He assured me this was a perfect car which would be eligible for NCRS top flight scoring. After many phone conversations, I decided to drive 8 hours from NJ to view and possibly buy the car. The day of my scheduled trip, Kyle contacted me and informed me that the car was not running right and the trip had to be cancelled until he could figure it out. He took the car to Corvette Mikes, a leading Corvette specialist with a stellar reputation, who after a week, concluded that the cars main computer was faulty and needed to be replaced along with adjacent components. A week later, the car was repaired and although hesitant, I decided to go forth with the purchase. I remember Kyle telling me I will not sell you this car unless it is as perfect as I promised. I decided to trust him and buy the car sight unseen when he quoted me a very reasonable shipping price.His price was cheaper than me making the trip. He told me when the car is delivered, inspect it and drive it and if its not for you for any reason, tell the driver to load it back on the trailer and return it to me.I was informed by the shipping company an hour before it was due to arrive and met the driver in my driveway. The car was more perfect than what Kyle described. The 34 year old car literally looked like the day it rolled off the assembly line. Not one imperfection. It drove like it was brand new. I have put almost 200 miles on the car thus far and realized that I love it too much for it to be a trailer queen with a bunch of ribbons on it. Im going to drive it and enjoy it like a Corvette is meant for.I have three classic cars now and have had plenty more throughout my life but I will never forget how fair and honest Kyle was with me and how smoothly our transaction went. He ended up spending a great deal of time and money to insure that the car he promised was going to be the car he delivered and swallowed all of the repair costs (which he included the receipts) and sold me the car for the extremely fair price we agreed on before the car presented problems.I highly recommend Foreign Motorcars and could not be more pleased with my new Corvette. I purchased a 2004 BMW 325XI from Dave, Brad, and Kyle over 2 years ago and only have the highest recommendation to give to them. When I first was looking around for a car I would go dealer to dealer getting the same sales pitch and the same mediocre help. When I came in to Foreign Motorcars Brad was the first person I dealt with and he could not have been more genuinely nice and helpful. He truly cared about getting me a car that met all my criteria without adding any pressure. It was like a good friend was helping me search for a car. Any mechanical questions I had Dave was able to fully talk in detail about what it was and what maintenance would be required at specific mileage. Once I picked a car the purchasing was smooth, quick, and without stress. As good as the purchasing was what really sticks out to me is the service. I can remember as I was about to leave Brad saying if I had any questions or issues at any point to let them know and they will help in any way they can and they have exceeded my expectation. Their service since my purchase is the BEST I have had for anything I have ever bought. When it comes time for some maintenance and I call they remember me and what car I have and are very flexible in working a time to bring the car in to be serviced. And dont think I service it very often, I have only done the maintenance and service that Dave and Brad told me about when I purchased the car. Im the meticulous type, and its great to look at used cars that were pampered by their past owners and brought up to the Foreign Motorcars gold-standard before being put up for sale.Back in February I bought my wife a 2008 528xi, and the car is absolutely exceptional. The interior looks brand new and the car is running perfectly. This past week I bought a second car from Foreign Motorcars, a 2007 328xi, and again Im completely blown away by the amazing condition this car is in. Mechanically the car is tight and well tuned. The leather and wood are like-new, even though the car has 70K miles on it! Its simply unheard of.I would definitely do business with Foreign Motorcars again, and strongly recommend their shop if youre looking for a used BMW.

I purchased a 2010 BMW 328 from Kyle this past month and I could not be happier. The car itself is perfect which I think says a lot about their overall knowledge of BMWs but the service and sales process was really what blew me away. I never felt pressured or tricked, he was up front and honest with me the entire time. I told him after I bought the car that I had never had a sales experience like that before which is really what set them apart. At the end of the day I am thrilled with my car and happy to have given Kyle the business.

All I can say is “GREAT” from the moment on Sunday when I sent a note from Car Guru to Foreign Motorcars till I picked up my car. On Sunday I received a text back regarding the car from Kyle. After that, still on Sunday, I was able to set up an appointment for Monday morning. When we arrived Monday morning Kyle met us at the car; it was running with plates on it. After Kyle explained everything about the car, he let us take it for a test drive by ourselves with no information about us at that point. Talk about trust! After the test drive we talked about price (there was never any pressure at all) and on a hand shake we agreed on everything. The next day the car was ready on the time agreed upon. (It was the next day only because I needed plates). The facilities were pristine, the shop was immaculate. Kyle and Dave were great, real professionals and gentlemen in every way. Brought in a e46 for a radiator replacement. Receipt didnt have labor or hours on it but $350 for a radiator replacement is unreasonably high for a 2 hour job max. From drop off to leaving I spent about 3 hours waiting and most of it the car was not in the garage or still cooling down. Questionable

MY CAR WAS DAMAGED AND THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE DID NOT DISCLOSE THIS INFORMATION.BUYER BEWARE!I purchased a BMW from Foreign Motorcars March 2013 and dealt with Brad. I purchased the vehicle at full retail value and not too long ago found out that it was in an accident and damaged.I called recently and spoke to Kyle to see if they would take responsibility for their actions and he refused to take ownership of this issue.Sadly, due to this experience I would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family because there is no way of telling if all of their cars are damaged and not disclosed to customers.

I had been looking for a BMW 335 for a long time and was very particular in the packages I wanted on the car. I came across Foreign Motor Cars and noticed they had what I considered the perfect car. I called Kyle and scheduled a test drive - I showed up the car was ready and Kyle handed me the keys without any pressure. I was trading a car and when I returned from the test drive Kyle gave me an honest evaluation of my trade. As I looked over the car Kyle gave me the rundown of the packages and features and not only could I tell he loved the car as well but he was extremely knowledgeable about BMW’s. I decided I wanted to think about it and left the dealership - Again I was never pressured or bothered as I made my decision. I emailed Kyle later that night and let him know I would take the car and the wheels were in motion. When I arrived the car was clean and Kyle handed me the keys - Being a BMW guy, Kyle and I chatted about other cars on the lot and why they were special or unique and it was really nice just to chat about cars. Foreign Motor Cars is a stand up dealership and Kyle is a true class act. They have definitely won over my business and I will be back when I replace my wife’s BMW.

I am very picky when it comes to dealers of used cars, in fact there are a select few that I would ever buy a used car from. Foreign Motorcars, Inc. is one of the two that I know.You can tell the difference as soon as you walk in the door. At almost any other used car dealer you will find a jumble of cars in varying makes, models, and conditions. You will also normally find the stereotypical used car salesman who knows nothing about what he is selling, and who will lie through his teeth just to get your business.As I said, Foreign Motorcars is immediately and obviously different. First, on the lot you will find mostly (~95%) BMWs - all in good condition. Every person that works at Foreign Motorcars knows what they sell inside and out. There is not a question that you could ask that they would not know. And, if there is, I have no doubt that they would simply tell you the truth (that they dont know) instead of lying to your face.These are the first two qualities I look for in a dealer. The 3rd obviously is price. When I purchased my vehicle a few months ago I tried to negotiate on price, but they were only willing to come down a few hundred dollars. I was told that they price the cars so that if there is any issue after the purchase they have some flexibility to take care of the customer and the car. That is why they do not have the same pricing flexibility as other dealers. At the time, I thought it was just something they were saying to justify a higher price. But, they proved me wrong. About 3 months after a bought my car I had a radiator leak - it was a small crack in one of the hoses. Even though it was a bit of a drive for me to bring the car back to them for service, I decided to do it to see if they were true to their word. And they were! They special ordered the part (so I had to come back a couple days later) but they fixed it at no charge.Amazing that companies like this actually exist!

As the other reviews mentioned, these are the most honest and polite BMW repair and sales people that I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Both my 330ci and 530xi BMWs have gone into Davids shop. Not only do they have BY FAR the most honest pricing you could hope for, they are incredibly nice, informative and experts at fixing BMWs! The 3 times that I have gone into their shop have been extraordinarily positive experiences and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! I honestly can not express how grateful I am to both David and Brad for all of the amazing work they do and for treating their customers in such an incredible way! They set the standard! A+++++++

I live in south jersey 5 hours from the Boston area. I saw a BMW I had a interest in but didnt want to take a 10hr round trip just to look at a car that might or might not be worth it. So I needed someone to be my eyes and ears in the Boston area, someone I could trust to do a PPI, pre~purchase inspection for me. Someone who knew BMWs better then me and someone I could trust.Not being from the area I didnt know who to call. Well I can tell you I lucked out by contacting the guys at Foreign Motors. Spoke with Dave and right from the start I knew not only was he a man I could trust but someone who knew the BMW make intimately!!! On short notice he made time for my inspection, was extremely meticulous and all at a fair price.If you are in the market to either buy or service your late model BMW, any year from 1988 to the present and youre looking for a honest deal go see the staff at Foreign Motors......ask for Dave!!!!!!!
