Dr.Coffey is by far the most aggressive ignorant human being I have ever encountered. When it comes to your privacy she will speak badly about you to others in a horrible fashion. There is many people that have experienced this harsh behavior from Dr.Coffey. When it comes to having a filter she is the perfect example of not having a filter. She will belittle in the worst way and talk loudly to the co workers in a manner were it is not acceptable. Please be aware.

I would not recommend going here. The staff is nice but the Dr was condescending and not helpful. Wanted to make me pay for 3 office visits to answer 3 separate questions. Charged me for a contact lens fitting but said I had to make another appointment for it. Did not return for my second appointment and got a refund for my contact lens fitting.

The worst place ever .I was waiting for my sons eyes glasses. Longtime.No body called me.The guy he didnt call me, he did say everything. Thats not good .i was waiting almost a month to pick up eyeglasses. If i didnt come personally to the office, nobody gives me call.

Hand down the best eye care around. Dr Coffey is a lovely mix of direct, no nonsense dry wit. The staff is always pleasant and happy and personal. The entire office is a direct compliment of Dr. Cs ability to surround herself with plain old fashioned good people. I feel like Ive won the lottery as I picked her solely on her name. Absolute recommend.

Let’s start with the good: decent hours & wide variety of frames.The negatives: dr Coffey. She was very rude to both myself & my daughter. If you ask questions she’s very short & condescending. We considered walking out but ended up sticking it out since we were already there. But we will not return again. She was rude to her staff & spoke poorly of their performance in front of us.I ended up buying two pairs of designer glasses & regret it terribly. As a first time eyeglass wearer, I wish my prescription was explained better to me other than they were “training wheels”. I asked the appropriate questions but evidently wasn’t told the correct information. The prescription is only for up close, if I even look up I need to take them off because it’s extremely blurry. Makes no sense.Highly disappointed & do not recommend this office.

Dr. Coffey and her Staff are amazing. My family has been going to Coffey Eye Care since we moved to the area 3 years ago. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. They take time to ensure you get what you want. Dr. Coffey addresses all your concerns that you may have. I have never had such a more warm welcome every time we walk through those doors. Been visiting here for my daughter and son since they started having vision issues. Dr. Coffey and all the associates are very patient working with kids. Understand their need. Very professional! The eye glasses we get there has the best warranty considering son constantly need readjusting ( complimentary) and breaking his glasses so many times.My daughter was very happy with her contact lens fitting classes, my son cant wait to get his!

Dr. Coffey and her staff are wonderful. They have always been professional and helpful in guiding patients through their eye exams. The tests are all performed in state of the art equipment and top notch materials. I highly recommend it!

Extremely rude. My wife and I went there based on the reviews online, but were completely put off by Dr. Coffey. The staff there were nice and welcoming, but Dr Coffey herself was just rude and condescending. My wife was testing out a new brand of contact lenses, and when asked how it felt, my wife responded that one of the eyes was blurry. Dr Coffey snapped back saying: Im not asking if it is blurry, Im asking how comfortable it is. When she came to my examination room, I had a follow up question about dilating my eyes, she was so impatient and didnt want to entertain any questions and said End of story! Period!. I regret staying and should have walked out then. I would not recommend anyone to go there for an eye exam.

I am a patient of Dr Coffeys and needed to be seen quickly for an unexpected issue before a trip. Beyond outstanding technical expertise, it was clear that everyone in the practice really cared about making sure I got the care I needed. Thank you, all! What a wonderful practice!

Dr. Coffey and her team were wonderful! I was able to make an appointment after my work hours and there was still a full staff at work who could help me select new frames and explain my benefits and any eye issues I was having or questions I had. The office was very clean and nice! I will definitely encourage my friends and family to visit Dr. Coffey if theyre looking for a change of eye doctor!

Dr. Coffey knows her stuff. But she’s so overworked, last time I had an exam she was treating 3 or more people at the same time. She would exit my room, go in one direction, then a while later she’d pass my room going the other way, then back to me. I appreciate her knowledge, but the place is overworked. My glasses aren’t ideal still, but that’s not the doctor’s fault.

Clean office, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. I dont wear glasses (yet) but came here to have my eye health checked. It was a very quick and smooth experience. Dr Coffey was kind and took her time to explain everything to me even though I was her last appointment after a long work day.I would definitely recommend you come here for eye care.

Dr Coffey was so thorough with her extensive exam. She listened to my concerns and made sure I was happy with decisions she made with my prescriptions . Her staff is very Friendly and engaging ... I will definitely go back !

Very happy with my experience with Dr. Coffey. I was fully prepared to have to purchase new eye glasses but, she diagnosed my vision issue as a severe dry eye problem that could be solved with special eye compresses, drops, and supplements, thus saving me hundreds of dollars on new glasses! She was far more concerned about my eye health rather than selling me a pair of glasses I did not need! This is the kind of Doctor you need in your life!!

The appointment today was for my daughter and it was my first time going to an eye doctor. The doctor and staff are all very professional and friendly. They explained everything they were doing each step of her exam. She ended up needing glasses and they helped me pick what was right for her and even explained how my insurance worked with co-pays and the cost of frames/lenses. They didnt push me to spend more than what I could afford and my daughter left with a great pair of glasses.

My old eye doctor did not take my current insurance, so I chose Dr. Coffey from my insurance website. I am so glad I did! Her staff is wonderful, from the receptionist, the assistant and Dr. Coffey herself. She was very friendly, did a thorough exam and explained everything as she went along.I was also able to pick out my new glasses right in the office. The gentlemen working in that part of the office showed me exactly what my insurance covered and how much everything would be. Not a great experience. They are too fancy and expensive. The eye doctor tried to sell some 3D eye scanning test that i do not require. And the frames and contact lenses are all expensive. Since I got my eye checkup done with Coffey Eye Care, I could not get frames/contacts from other places because my insurance covers check up only once. I finally had to wait for a few months and get the check up and contacts from another place, where they provided good service and reasonable prices for contact lenses.

Very professional friendly staff, great eye glass selection and Dr. Coffey is a very good optometrist. I was very happy with my experience there.

Began by being made feel that I inconvenienced the secretary by not having my paper work pre-filled in what was already a very busy week for me. Then, Dr. Coffey did not impress my by her treatment of her assistant, and continued to be very rude and off putting to me during my examination. She made snarky comments about the care of my contacts, which is the typical case and solution method, which I am open to changing, but not to be made to feel bad about. Her eye glass technician, Blue, was very nice, but unfortunately for the exam experience, I will not return.

Positive experience start to finish as a new patient here. Everyone I dealt with made it a personal as well as a professional experience. Dr. Coffey went above and beyond in explaining things to me that previous health care providers never had. It was a much more satisfying experience to deal with folks who operate a local business and live in your community. It has a family kind of feel to it. Comfortable and looking out for your best interests. Eye care and eye wear are expensive, this is the first time I felt good about the experience. I would definitely recommend Coffey Eye Care to anyone who is tired of feeling like a number and is seeking competent and comprehensive eye care.

Staff were thorough about what my insurance covered and, generally, helpful.The Optician was understanding of my inability to use the eye dilation drops and offered an alternative.

A little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Dr. Coffey knows her stuff. Nice office and new technology. Best fitting contacts that I ever had! She said my previous pair looked like trash bags on my eyes because they were so big. Now I can not even tell that my contacts are there. Do yourself a favor and go here first! It is worth the extra money to get quality care and avoid potential headaches elsewhere.

I arrived a little early for my early morning appointment with paper work already done. I wouldnt expect early morning Monday appt to be backed up. Two people came in idk 15 and were asked to sit in the main galley and would be seen shortly. Very kind. I felt invisible. I later confirmed my appointment was 20 minutes ago and asked if she intended to keep the appointment. I waited at least 5 minutes and after not hearing back on how much longer she might be, I left. I am new to the area and based my decision on proximity and rating. It was an unsavory experience, not a flattering first impression. She emailed an apology later in the day, which was kind and appreciated, but I will not be back.

Three strikes, three family members all disappointed. Communication is horrible. I waited for my glasses that were promised four days, ordered before Memorial Day Weekend and finally arrived after July 4th. Excuses about the lab, however I had to call each time to get an update, not one call to me until I complained about communication. After all the wait they told me that I had to make an appointment to pick up. What they didnt communicate theyd be closed on Saturdays in July. They push a 3d exam, more money, and mention they wouldnt have to dilate your pupils. Not true, they then tell you well ther 3d doesnt show the outsides around the pupil fully so we will have to dilate to see the full eye.For us, all we were was dollar signs. Not personable at all or feeling the exam was correct. We are looking for other optical options, not going back here.

My visit was excellent. I visited for both regular eye exam and for new contact lens. Doctor was very thorough and even had me make an appt for follow up to check in on my new contact lens. Very happy with how easy it was to set up an appt. Even not knowing my insurance would cover most of the visit. Sheila the polite young lady that I spoke with about appt. Was very helpful.
