From the minute I walked into the office, every staff member was so friendly; it felt like I was walking into a family members home. Dr. K put me at ease, was extremely knowledgeable and talked me through everything he was doing. Barb then helped me pick out my glasses and she was so patient with me, even though it was nearing closing time! All in all, best experience, wonderful doctor, and staff!

My husband and I followed Dr Chevalier when she joined Family Eye Care. Shes the best. After my cataract surgery, I was concerned about one eye. I called her on the weekend and she met me at the office to check my eye. She is always very thorough and precious with each patient. We have been her patients for approximately 15 years, and would not think of going anywhere else.

I am very leery about new eye care places because my 10 year old son because he is so little we have trouble finding glasses to fit him.The kids said they really enjoyed being there and the staff was so nice and wonderful! I have just completed having my cataracts extracted through Family EyeCare and I am super pleased. I saw Dr Jason initially and saw Dr Kirk once and was extremely happy with both of them. They have an amazing Dr come out of St Louis once a month for their cataract surgeries. He is Dr Gira, very personable and apparently extremely talented in this field. Dr Jason says he is the best. I was so impressed I wanted to let everyone know if you need eye care, for whatever reason, go to Family EyeCare & Contact Lens Center in Quincy. They truly are the best! Thanks to everyone there.

I farm for a living and got a piece of metal in my eye during a very busy time of year for my business. I called Dr. Jason Kvitle and he met me at the office at 6:30am on a Saturday! I was in excruciating pain and he got the metal out of my eye and had me back to work by 7am. He made special accommodations that are rarely made now days (greatly appreciated). At Family Eye Care they truly care about the health and well being of all their patients! Top notch group!! Won’t go anywhere else.

I cannot recommend Family Eye Care enough. They are family friendly as well as family oriented. They consistently deliver excellence service as well as a friendly environment. We recently moved to the area and my wife went in for a normal check up. They were able to catch the early stages of a detached retina and remedy the situation within a week. My young boys (5 and 7) love how interactive the staff have been and my wife an I appreciate how attentive and patient they can be with them.

One of the worst eye doctors Ive ever been to. Went through the exam so fast, had my prescription wrong, then wanted me to pay for $1500 glasses.. Paid $120 exam fee they said I owed and never went back.. Horrible!

This is the best eye center my husband and I have ever been to! Husband found out problems no other dr had even mentioned he had. Although I had the right prescription, my glasses needed tweaking and I needed glasses especially for my computer work. It’s amazing to see clearly while driving again and my computer glasses work just as I was told they would! Dr Jason is an awesome educator and spent so much time with us! A couple of weeks ago, I had the rare opportunity to experience a spontaneous tear to my retina. In laymans terms, the tear in my eye occurred without injury; just happened. Dr. Kirk Kvitle saw me on a Sunday, and paved the path for me to see an eye surgeon that same day in St. Louis. The caring approach and expert consultation, prevented my acute situation from progressively getting worse. The caring follow-up continued after my procedure in St. Louis. A great experience, I hope no one has to encounter this type of eye injury, but if you do, Family EyeCare is the team to count on when time matters.
