Very quick and efficient, five-star

Called for a tow with the guarantee that they would refund my money if I called and canceled. I did end up getting the car running and called to chance the charge. The charge was never canceled and they keep telling me they did and I have to file a claim with my credit card company. According to the bank they refunded the charge as cash even though I have never been to their business and have never received a check for the the refund from them. Seems like a shady company to me.

The folks at Alligator towing really went above and beyond this last week. My vehicle broke down during the peak of the polar Vortex we experienced last week. Due to someone at Roadside assistance dropping the ball at 6:30 in the morning, my wife and I found ourselves needing to scramble to get an emergency tow at 3 in the afternoon. My wife is an on call nurse and had on call duties that night. The only way we could secure a replacement vehicle was to have it towed to the dealership by 5:30 pm. After multiple calls to local tow operations, we where basically told too bad. My wife called Alligator and was helped by a very nice dispatcher who was VERY sympathetic towards our situation. She was able to find someone to help. We are so appreciative! In addition, our Tow guy Michael was extremely helpful and personable. A plus job by this company. THANK YOU!

This father-son team were super helpful when me and my 6 year old daughter were stranded out of state. I felt safe and taken care of, they got us home in good time, and they were kind and we paid a fair price. I am grateful to have an honest company to turn to when I need help next time we are in Wisconsin.

On March 15th I called for a tow because my car broke down on the highway. The lady that answered the phone was rude but I ended up going through with the payment anyways. They charged me and took my money from my bank account but I then cancelled the tow and asked for a refund when I found a better price somewhere else. Keep in mind, I called and cancelled almost immediately after requesting the tow. They said they would issue my refund and a few weeks later I still never got it. I called the shop back to ask about it and it was the same woman. She was still just as rude and condescending. Now about a month later I still haven’t received my $216 back and I can’t seem to get a hold of them.Edit: Called them again and was told they were too busy to handle my refund at the moment and that they would call meback which they never did. I checked my bank account and saw I had received $109 from them which still puts me at $107 short of a refund. If there is a cancellation fee, I understand that but 1. there’s no way a cancellation fee is that much money and 2. that would’ve been nice to know if there was. This place is one hell of a scam.

Alligator towing was a great call I made fast, reliable, great service and fair prices. Thank you to the young man who towed my truck . I can not thank him enough for his kindness. I will highly recommend this company to anyone.

My transmission went out on my lifted truck last night, I called them they sent a flat bed out right away and were able to get me home with in a hour very reasonable rates. Micheal was my driver very knowledgeable and caring tied my vehicle down well also helped me push it into my parking place when he unloaded....I will definitely call them any time I need a tow!!

Date of service: 7/18/2018 We have one vehicle only, which blew a flat. Spare rusted on, so Alligator came out and towed us to repair shop. First, they were to our location very quickly, second, I dont know the young mans name, but he was polite, eager to do his job, and when the first shop had no tires our size in supply, he called another shop for us and towed us to the second shop. The service person went above and beyond to take care of us. A+ Impressed and will recommend!

Michael Michael was my saving angel. I was at ChickfilA and locked my keys in the car. He happened to arrive for a bite to eat a few minutes after I called AAA fir help. I thought he was my roadside service. Mike said he wasnt with AAA but offered to unlock my car anyway - no charge. Thanks Mike. I will always remember your kindness and will call you next time I need help.

My girlfriends car blew a tire at night. It took them a half hour to get to where we were (15 min drive from their location), and they changed the tire in less than 5 minutes. It went super smoothly and I appreciate the speed and efficiency.

These guys are amazing I just got a tow from them today from my work to my house my truck broke down and wouldnt start I tried jumping it at work and nothing so I called alligator towing and they sent out the nearest guy who was an hour away even though it was a wait it was still a good tow and Ill trust them more then any other tow company. Theyre quick with calls and know what theyre doing. Thank you alligator towing, especially Michael for coming to my work and towing my truck and bringing me home with it.

These guys were completely amazing. A quick phone call for a quick price quote and they were there within 30 minutes to take care of us. They take cash or credit card to make things easier.

Greatest towing experience yet. Really. Transmission went out 1 1/2 hours from kenosha where i live and my emergency road service called countless tow truck companies and everyone refused or said 5 to 6 hours. Last night I ended up in the ditch trying to avoid a deer. I have roadside assistance coverage so my insurance company contacted Alligator towing to come to my rescue. I got a nice reassuring text that they would be there in 45 minutes. An hour and 20 minutes later I called this towing service (which is incidentally located about 8 minutes from where I was stranded) and they said the driver was held up by a train and he would be by me in 45 minutes! They seemed offended when I asked if the train was in Chicago and they called my insurance company to cancel their response all together. I called my neighbor (wish I had done this to begin with) and he easily pulled me out of the mud I was in with his pick-up.

Locked my keys in my truck called and got rate information was given a cash and credit card price..... Big Rich came out 45 minutes to my home and worked on the lock for 5 to 10 minutes and took care of business without damaging anything. Hes a local guy who I was pleased to do business with if you need a tow or your locked and in Kenosha you should seriously consider this business!

I cannot begin to say how great these guys are. When all towing companies told us no at 7pm they came to our rescue. We had an odd situation with equipment in our vehicle and needed assistance getting it out of our vehicle. Needless to say they were at our service with people in less than an hour. One week later we needed equipment moved and there they were again to help with thier flatbed. Words cannot express how helpful they were and easy to work with and schedule. We know who to call in the area for not only towing now. Thanks again to Rich, Michelle and the family. Remember a family owned business is the best way to go. Thanks guys!

We were stranded on green bay rd on the way to kenosha from Racine. Nobody wanted to come get us but they did and also sent out a courtesy car to drive us home! Super sweet lady we spoke with as well.

I haven’t lived in Kenosha in some time, so I’m unfamiliar with the current state of towing facilities, but I work with them on a daily basis. I needed my very heavy touring motorcycle towed home (had been in an accident, so it wouldn’t turn on). No one wanted to help. My roadside people sounded so exasperated when they called to tell me no one was cooperating. But then Alligator Towing answered. They brought the owner (Rich) our to make sure the vehicle was properly secured, and even valued my input on how to load it (I left the actual securing part to them). Michael was the driver, he drove over an hour with the bike and he and I were able to unload it back at my place without issue. Both the guys I dealt with were awesome and professional.

Insane driver. Driving 20 to 30 mph over the speed limit racing and cutting drivers off in a big truck. DANGEROUS to have this guy on the road daily.RE your reply: I saw them coming down 32 at Chicory. The speed limit there at the Racine/Kenosha border on Sheridan/32 is 45 mph, I admittedly was going 5 over with everyone (putting me at 50 mph), and he whooped by leaving us all in the dust by a long shot. Maybe you should have the speed regulation checked? We caught up to him at a stop light by Carthage college at apx 930am, the speed limit is 35, and he once again proceeded to weave through traffic at least 20 mph over (its 35mph there). Unless someone else is riding around with your company name and number on their tow trucks, this was definitely one of your drivers. Never heard of your company before today, and reading his back window as he flew by twice.

Me and my grandmother had the best service from this towing company, if I even need towin again (I hope not) Ill definitely try here first! Came within the time frame I was given. My key was stuck in the car when he got there and he was able to jump it so we could get it in N to tow it, since as soon as he disconnected the cables the car died again! Very helpful and definitely went out if his way to help us. I only wish I would have had him jump of one more time since my keys are still stuck in the car and my windows are stuck down haha. Got an oil change from Jiffy Lube got down the street to Walmart on Green Bay Road car locked up on me cuz Jiffy Lube slammed on my brakes and my caliper locked up on me went online saw alligator Towing had the best star rating called them plus the 24-hour service they were very very nice they said they would be there to get my car in about 25 minutes and they would bring it to my house and before I knew it the guy had called and said they were outside so they did a really good job of backing up my car into the spot cuz I was scared to do it so he was nice enough to do it for me I would highly recommend this company and now I know who to call next time
