I made a appointment and was giving the ring around on my vehicle getting a inspection. Was trying to get my inner and outer tie rods looked at. Dropped it off at 9 a.m. and didnt receive any calls on update as to what was going on/ if it was gonna take longer than expected. I am very disappointed.... Bad for business and i do not recommend

Called in advance Aug. 30th 2021, got my car towed to their place, battery replacement (no rocket science, except for me...), they called same day my car would be ready to be picked up, I said I would show up next day because I couldnt make it before store closure at 6 pm. Upon showing up Aug. 31st at 08:15 they told me my car would not be ready and that they called the day before to let me know - a blatant lie. I had a stressful Tuesday morning because they didnt do what they made me believe they did causing me to be late at work. That was the 4th and last time that I have been their customer. My advice: dont take too seriously what they tell you and try to find a place where employees have better work ethics.

I set up 2 different appointments online that were both initially accepted only for them to be cancelled immediately the next day when they opened. I call and they say its the system overbooking. Highly doubtful, more like they are picking and choosing what they would like to work on. Obviously 4 new tires is gonna make them more money than a basic tuneup scheduled.They could have reached out and said hey we seen you tried scheduling a tune-up TWICE and we (Firestone on Main St) had to cancel on our end so theres an opening on such a such day would you like that? Nope NOTHING. So if you need reliability and are working on a specific time frame for a repair to your vehicle. This Place Aint It. Unless your repair is like $500.00 I bet they get you in immediately 🤷🤦🙄. Dont waste your time online scheduling. these guys will just delete you like you never happened and give a lame excuse. Talked to the guy about the cancellations never did he say would you like to reschedule. Obviously the answer is no now.

Was my first time and Last! Went to get leaks fixed in front tires and the hub cap fall off on the way home and hood wasnt shut all the way. What would have happened if I hit the hwy?the place is a joke, wouldnt recommend that place to anyone!!!

Had a strict deadline due to moving and they were told when it had to be done and they agreed to that time line. Now we are packed and ready the next day after we should have gotten it back and yet its evening and we still dont have our vehicle!!!!Puts us way behind

Went to see how much a brake job would cost. I have a Mustang so they tend to run high. Reasonable price but what made it better was the fact that they offer financing was approved right there only took about 5 minutes. Scheduled my appointment will keep you updated on the service.

My boyfriend and I have been bringing our vehicles here for the past few years. Oil changes, tires, brakes, batteries, etc. They ALWAYS do a great job and treat us like long time friends. Regardless of all the people they deal with on a daily basis, Wayne always knows exactly who I am when I call for an appointment. They are fair and honest. Highly recommended!

Very courteous and friendly staff.

Quickly diagnosed my phantom coolant leak with a simple pressure test. The Chevy dealer did the same test and then some and assured me that it was not my water pump, which it was. Also, determined that the intake manifold did not need to be replaced (as told by the dealer) but rather just cleaned. Our car is running so nice again. These guys are always honest with us and this time it also saved us big bucks!! Highly recommend Wayne, Peter, and the rest of the team!

I went there to have my truck check was having issues they told me a lot of things being wrong an estimated $2300 worth of parts and labor to fix it went to another mechanic to get a second opinion they told me i had my 4x4 wheel on i have not had any issues after that so being trained mechanics they didnt see that. Well wont be going there for that again.

The first time I visited I had good service but I recently brought in my vehicle for something that I was concerned about and after an inspection they told me there were many issues going on. They gave me an estimate for over 2,000 overall cost, but did not address the issue that I went in for. I trusted their judgment so I let them take it in and I was told it would be ready by the end of the day or next morning latest. The next day I called and was told that it would be done for sure by the end of that day since it was a big job, which was understandable. The whole day passed and I never even received a courtesy call to let me know it would be delayed, so being that it was my only vehicle, I had to walk to get my kids from school and I was left without groceries for the week with no other affordable transportation option for me at the time. I was trying to save up for the fix payment. A third day came by and finally I received a call that my vehicle was ready to go. I walked to pick it up and when I turned it on the problem that I had gone in for had not been fixed. It was as if nothing was done to it, I did not feel a difference. I went back in and was told it was something else that required another $1000 to fix. I was so disappointed. I literally drove all the way to Chicago to see a mechanic that I used to go to before i moved in this town. I showed him what was done, how much I had been charged, and how much more they wanted to charge me and he told me it was overpriced. He fixed the issue that they told me would cost $1000 for less than $100. That means I should of paid for my vehicle to get towed all the way to Chicago and I would have spent way less and would have had my vehicle fixed faster. I will never go back here again, I feel ripped off and I no longer trust local mechanics.

Peter and the Technicians at the Firestone on Main Street in Racine did a great job on my car. They correctly diagnosed my car. They fixed the problem and were truthful. I think what this Firestone excels at is Trust, and Professionalism. The other great thing about this Firestone is that it is clean and organized. The shop is organized. This is my second visit in a year and they again have impressed me Thank You.

Definitely do not recommend firestone on main street in Racine I have taken my vehicle there to have the tires balanced for the second time because they did not get it correct The first time but on the second time they did not balance at all they only moved the vehicle from one parking spot to the next good thing they did not charge me but they did not balance & claim they have and yes I actually sat across the street and watched them

I went to Firestone twice and I think they purposely did something to my car both times and tried to over charge me. The last time they said my headlight was out when it wasnt the night before and tried to charge me $130 but I replaced it myself for $20. Go at your own risk

This shop couldnt handle a simple tire rotation without messing up. And when I return to have the their mistake fixed he tells me there to busy to fix it, even though he was playing on his cell phone when I walked in.

7-2-2020 Went here about 4 months ago, as I called another shop that had a mechanic and he told me to go here. Ive gone there years ago and they were okay. They said that I need all this work done and charged me for inspecting my vehicle, which they ever told me about either. Mostly brakes are a huge thing for me. Battery, 2 lights, sway bar, shocks, oil pan, oil change and alignment, as my 2 front tires were worn on the inside. But they aligned all 4s. I didnt know and only because the tow truck driver showed them to me. I had a flat and my spare had a flat. Wayne had tires picked out but he never went over them with me nor any warranties. So $80 each. $140 for both lights, including labor. Too high of price. Sway bar and shocks for over $700. That shouldve been replaced before I even bought the car. I had 2 oil changes because of the leaking oil pan. That didnt make any sense at all and they were going to charge me more until I said something. They were talking quite a lot, so not very busy at all. Was told to have my brakes replaced on a Sat. by Peter as they have more mechanics. Thats almost $400. I cant believe it needs all of this as the car dealership just replaced the battery, tires and brakes before I bought it. I dont drive it that much and only around here. Went in one day and told to come back the next afternoon with an appt. time to get the oil pan replaced and he forgot about it. I shouldve left then. Not happy at all as I already had to put a starter in from some where else for almost $700 and my son and I waited hours for a belt. So 1500.00 for the rest and thats at the sale price. Good for only 30 days.10-13-2020 Called and spoke to Brian as my battery is dead. He kept saying that it will cost me $100 just for diagnostics. Even with telling him that my battery is dead and wont even make any clicking sounds. Hate that I have to have it towed. They were opened until 6 but he said no mechanics were there to look at it.7-18-2021 I set up an appt. online with this Firestone last night and got a confirmation email from them. I called this morning to verify it and Alex answered. He basically told me that there was no appt. and cant trust the online appt. app. That they were booked and only one tech. working. He suggested going to the one on Washington. I was so upset with that and I hung up on him. Not the way to treat a customer and this wasnt the first time I had problems with them.

Quick service. Disabled customers be warned. They lack properly marked disabled parking, and thus anyone parks in those stalls, as well as an accessible route to their store.

If you are getting work done here ask for Wayne (Store Manager). Excellent costumer service, honest and gets the job done in the time frame he gave you. He would be the reason I would return to this repair facility, prices are always important, but having the work done by a true PROFESSIONAL is a lot more important to me.

I have been coming to Firestone for over 10 years now. I must say my experience is always the same. The staff is very friendly and helpful. What I Love about my Firestone on Main street in Racine is that they always find a way to fit me in even when theyre busy. Shout to Wayne and his team for all the hard work they do on a daily basis. Horrible. I went yesterday and customers were not allowed inside the waiting room. I, and other customers had to wait outside on the concrete for hours in 90 degree heat. My car wasnt even fixed. I had to go to my dealership who fixed the problem for less than Firestone, and (surprise, surprise) they allowed customers inside the building for waiting. I will NEVER go to another Firestone for anything again!

Love this location, they do A+ work and the customer service is unmatched. Wayne is the best service manager by far, he will make sure all of your questions are answered and all your problems are fixed in a professional and polite manner.

They took 50 minutes to misdiagnose my problem. Had I let them do the work it would have been free as that is their policy. My son figured out what the clunk noise was and replaced the parts with OEM components. I made an appointment at the very same Firestone for a wheel alignment, and now my steering wheel is cockeyed. I use to have faith in this place, I will no longer have any work done at the Firestone on Main st. in Racine. I will no longer refer anyone to this place.

Fast friendly service!

I brought a car in for tires last week, made the appointment a week in advanced, dropped my car off as soon as they opened, and they didnt get my car done till after close. The manager on duty gave me a discount for the delay, so I wasnt too upset, and decided to bring my other car there again this week for 4 new tires and new oem tpms sensors. I dropped my car off at noon, and they told me the car would be done by close. Drove from Caledonia to Firestone at 5:45 and they still hadnt touched my car. Finally at 7:30 I got my car back, and on the way home my tpms light came on. I had the sensors checked after verifying the tire pressure was correct, and found that one of the sensors was no longer working. Somehow they managed to damage a brand new sensor, likely in a rush to get me out the door. Definitely would not recommend going to this location.

Went in to have a brake light bulb replace and, after forty minutes asked what was taking so long. They said it was a complicated? job, and would be just another five minutes. When that time passed, I asked for the car back, however, they refused to give the car to me until they were done.FINALLY, I got my car back, and when I got back into the car, I smelled alcohol. Hmm? Could this be why the job took so long? ;-)PS: I was charged $15.75 to change the bulb. My suggestion: Go somewhere to have a bulb changed- thats what Im going to do. ;-)

I used to trust them and I really like Wayne but the past two times I came in they gave me ridiculous quotes where I went to a other shop I trusted for 1/3rd the price... Im done going there for serious issues with my car. I got a list of issues from them and that wasnt even the problem. Didnt find that out till I went to the other shop and had it fixed. Im done. Im not going back.

The service attendant Jessica was extremely knowledgeable. After the service, I had asked her about two different tires from Bridgestone, and she explained the difference between the two, and the benefits of each one. I felt very comfortable dealing with her. Shes an asset to the company.

I found a set tires online that i wanted, so i called and talked to Mike. Mike told me me they were all booked up for appointments for the day and that they didnt have that tires that i found online anymore. I explained the situation i was in and mike got me an upgrade on the tires for the same price as the lower ones and he fit me into their completely booked schedule. Awesome job guys!

Got a ton of work done at a shop. said it needed an alignment and it was good to go. they recommended this place so I go and got tires while I was at it. i had to call them a day later to be told the they couldnt do an alignment because of a tierod. funny the shop the I just came from said. nothing about a tie rod and I had them checked. so I basicly waisted all my time. thank you for nothing.

The good:The store assistant manager Wayne is always professional and gives great customer service. However that will only get you so far.The Bad:When I bought my car in because the Check Engine light was on. I explained to them that Id like them to find out why and what they could do to fix it since my emissions test was coming up. They replaced some coils/plugs etc. After spending close to $600.00 The check engine light went off for a few days but then it came back on. Wayne said it can take a few days for the codes to clear out so drive it around for a few days. I did and it still didnt go off. I brought it in the day of my emissions test so he cleared the codes out for me. After a day or 2 it came on again! I brought it in and they claimed that it was bad coils again?! I asked how when theyre the ones who replaced them. The guy claimed that they could have been bad ones that got put in and even though Im passed the warranty he wouldnt make a fuss about it and replaced them for free. The Check Engine light came on again after about a week!The car ran fine for the time being so I decided that I spent enough money and time as it is, so I decided wait to go back in.After getting a small hole in my tire I decided its time to get my car ready for the winter. I brought it into Firestone and requested 3 things:1. The Check Engine Light was on and it never went off since I brought it in to get fixed the first time. I explained that the air filter hose had tape around it connecting it and that may be the reason it is on and if they could replace that part.2. Patch up the small hole in my tire.3. Realign my car if it needs it because it pulls to the right a bit.Heres what I got:1. A patched up tire which is good.2. An oil change which they almost charged me for.3. And the claim that theres so much wrong with my car that its not worth putting money into.He seemed to have forgotten the request for realignment and when I mentioned it, he said the suspension is so loose that theres no realignment that will help it.The Ugly:The worst of it all was that my car came out of their shop worse than it went in. The car had its problems but the day I brought it in it at least was very smooth and hardly shook when idle. The day I picked it up as soon as I started it it vibrated when it was idle worse than it ever has. Not only that whenever I pushed on the gas to accelerate it would shake and go extremely slow, while the speedometer would read 25mph the car would only go say 10mph and then suddenly get a burst of speed using more gas than necessary. The worst was last night, as I was reversing my car it randomly died. Thankfully it restarted.I did call Wayne immediately but was on my way to work from their shop and he said they didnt take any parts out or put any in. He said they took the battery out and put it in relearn mode. He said to drive it around for a few days to see if it smooths out. Notice that pattern!I never had any of these issues until I brought my car in there.I like Wayne as hes a nice guy so I was hesitant writing this review but I honestly am not satisfied and even feel slightly ripped off.,

If I could rate this store at a 0 I would!! Had to change a flat after they had put tires on the car and the studs were cross threaded and two of the studs broke off by hand!!! They need to get better techs who dont just crank on the wheel nuts with a torque gun without even putting them on by hand!!

They are the best Firestone in Racine Wisconsin!! They are customer service focused and I drive from Pleasant Prairie to this particular Firestone because of the service and honesty!!

Had put a new rack and Pinion in my car along with new tire rod ends went in to get a front in alignment and after I pick the vehicle up and took it home the rack and Pinion boots were so twisted you could’ve ruined my entire rack I just replaced let the dealership know next day was contacted was offered a $20 credit on the next purchase which at this point I would never go back I would never trust them I’m a mechanic of 36 years and this is not the way you do business I think what they should’ve done is refunded my money for the alignment since I had to crawl under the car that night in and twist the booth so I didn’t cause further damage if someone would’ve had this done and had no mechanical ability they would not of known in a short time would’ve had to have the rack and Pinion replaced

Ive used them numerous times for new tires and to check the tires Im driving on. Theyre always easy to work with and theyve squeezed me in in a pinch.Ill return there for my emissions test and anything else I need by way of tires.

I travel almost 1.25 hours to go to this firestone. Mike & his employees always treat me right & most of all dont try to sell me things I dont need. After dealing with the southridge location I was done with firestone but this firestone is the reason I still do business with them.
