One of the oldest hardware stores in Racine. The manager gives a very home like feeling when you need something special.

Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are (basically) competitive to other HW stores. It is a convenient location though, so Ill be returning for sure.

Took my mower deck blades in for sharpening. Was promised they’d be done in a few days. Took over a week. More problematic is the lack of knowledge and customer service skills by the staff. Finally, the guy who sharpened the blades complained about how much time he had to spend (several hours) and his hands were sore from it. First and last time I will take my repair work there. Two stars only because the sharpening was done well.

Mom and pop hardware store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, well stocked shelves. You can find most of what youre looking for here, for sure. They even have old fashioned candy and soda at the check out and thats a nice touch. It really makes you glad mom and pop places still exist.

Great little local hardware store. I go because of the awesome selection of fasteners. I need high quality stainless and this place has a whole row of US made stainless fasteners. Also, super knowledge staff.

They try... The store is more focused on boutique items than actual hardware. Seriously the front half of the store is devoted to the Green egg and gifts for moms.

I have spent thousands of dollars in this store over the years. Most of the time the staff is helpful but sometimes a few of them can be a bit rude. A few of the men tend to look down at you or act like youre bothering them when you ask where something is. Well today was the last time. I will take my money where it is appreciated.
