My husband and I just bought our car from Tom Masano Ford. The process, though longer than we had planned for, was seamless. They gave us a great deal on our trade in and we got a brand new car for a price we thought we would only be able to get used. Corey Cronrath was very kind and let me and my two young daughters stay in the dealership after closing while my husband transferred the car seats. He even brought us water while another employee put on cartoons for my girls. Not only was this service good, making a service appointment was great! I made an online appointment one evening. If I dont hear from them before the end of the next day, I text 1 &/or 2 service associates & ask if anyone noticed my service notification. When one of them responded, I proceeded to negotiate a service date & time that I wanted. Also, this time I got the right office person who knows how to put the invoice charge on my Ford credit card.Thank you.
They dont deserve even 1 star! I paid $500 for my front brakes in January... January was 9 months ago and my brakes are STILL screeching LOUDLY. Its embarrassing that everyone keeps telling me as Im stopping to buy new brakes and I have to tell them I did at Tom Masano this year. I have no choice but to go somewhere else to buy new ones. I even took my car back with the loudly screeching brakes and they oiled them and then tried to give me a quote for better brakes..

Does not stand behind their product, refuses to give good customer service and does what they can to delay until the vehicle is out of warranty so they do not have to fix something. Cars paint started flaking under the windshield reflecting a poor paint job and The place refused to call back or to schedule this for over 8 months. Now the car is Out of Warranty So know they want to get paid for their initial terrible paint job. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE OR HAVE YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE. It will save your blood pressure and headaches.

I really hate going to dealerships for the vulture approach most salesmen take. At Tom Masano I was able to look around without anyone talking to me, then we went in and spoke with Randy. He was knowledgeable and easy going, he didnt pressure me into my car which I appreciated. When everything was done we were there past closing and he still took time to show me all my cars features and connected my phone to the car for me. I would highly recommend.
They are trying their best to work through the issues. Still have alot to learn with explaining responses to issues. Jeff is a great service advisor, always has been. Hang on to that guy. Id still like to work with them maybe trading in my 2013 fusion that I purchased there in 2015.

For my most recent visit I must say ZERO stars but it will not let me choose that option. I scheduled a service appointment as I was having some issues. Along with diagnosing the problem I requested The Works service package as it was time for an oil change. When I scheduled the appointment by phone, I told the individual that I did not want any work performed until I am called and given an estimate of the cost of repairs. My vehicle is a 2012 with 93,100 so I did not want to invest a lot into repairs. Trading in would a real possibility. I dropped off my vehicle the night before and placed the envelope in the early bird slot. I wrote on the envelope not to perform any work until I am called and given an estimate of the total cost. I even highlighted this statement in bright pink. I was phoned and given the estimate and determined that it was much more than what I wanted to spend. I told them not to make the repairs or do any other work to my vehicle. I then told the individual that I would like to have a trade in offer. When I went to pick up my vehicle, I was disgusted to learn that they did complete the works package and they expected me to pay for it. I was furious. Then I received an email with their trade in offer and I was insulted. I originally leased the vehicle from Masano. At the end of the lease, I purchased it outright. All of the service and maintenance was performed at Masano as it was directed by the owners manual. Extremely disappointing that this is how they would treat a customer that has been utilizing their services for almost 18 years. Combine this with the fact that scheduling a service appointment has become more and more difficult. It seems like you almost need to schedule a month in advance and this is just for routine maintenance. On a couple of occasions when I was not comfortable driving my vehicle because of an issue, I had to wait over 2 weeks for an appointment. 2 weeks without my car !!! With that and my recent experience and huge disappointment, I will no longer be patronizing Masano on Lancaster Avenue.

As a new customer to Tom Masano in Reading Pa. My first visit was a disappointing one. More disappointing because instead of taking advantage of me they took advantage of my wife thinking she was alone & would not pay attention to the work performed by the service tech. Long story short we decided to take our 2017 Explorer in for service for the first time. My wife said she could go because I was working & the appointments were not convenient for me. Oil change, check tires, air filter, cabin filter etc. 2-3 weeks pass & a funky smell was coming out of the vents. Dont know if it was because of dirty air filters or not. But my air & cabin filters were never touch. The sad part about all of this was that John the service manager 😪 could not make the right decision to tell me my apologies we will make this right. His question to me was, do you want me to change it now!?.🤪😝😬🤣Beware woman, the sad reason & one of the reason why this country is the way it is, is because of actions & decisions like this. Its called lieing, deceiving, dishonest, discrimination to a woman. The lists can go on for days, i assured my wife that for as long as I am alive & i can do something about actions like this trust me i will honey Boo!Everything done in darkness will eventually come to light.

This is a tricky one. I have been taking my Fords to Masano since 2012 for most service; tires, oil change, inspection, body repair. Ive always found the work to be of good quality, performed quickly, and fairly priced. I took my car in this past weekend (3.13.21) for inspection. Everything was done quickly and fairly. Unfortunately, my review is not about the service. I have to say, the COVID compliance is probably the worst Ive seen all year. Masks under noses at check-in, some dude just walks in with no mask, guys in the waiting room with no masks, half the sales staff not wearing masks. One salesman was wearing a mask and took it off to talk to me. Were still at infection and death rates that initiated the stay-at-home orders last year. Lets not spike the football on the 5-yard line.

She made sure everything ran smoothly and gave us options in this current car market which is tougher during the pandemic. She was awesome!

I would like to share my experience with my new purchase of a Ford 350 Transit today. From the first phone call I made to the salesmen he was very accommodating and we only had had a very short conversation. When I called the next day to start the process of wanting to purchase the truck, the salesman that I first talked to was not there and I was handed over to another salesman because I didnt want to wait another day. He was very helpful and answered all my questions I had on the vehicle. After I made the decision to purchase he handed over the paperwork to the first salesman because it was his initial call. and thats class act.My next step was working with the finance manager and going over the cost sheet in detail. I followed up with some small request I had, and he never hesitated to tell me that he would accommodate me and do everything in his part to make the sale get approved.I just want to say that from start to beginning of this process, every person at every department was very helpful, honest and very committed to accommodating me. I would definitely come back again and refer Tom Masano to everyone. I feel that the entire staff demonstrates a high level of commitment and honesty. If I owned the dealership, I would be extremely proud of my staff, hands on the best I have dealt with. I have been trying to purchase a van like this for the past 6 months and I have dealt with about 20 dealers over strenuous hours and hours of negotiating and with Tom Masano it took about 30 minutes to seal the deal.My Sincere Gratitude to everyone at Tom Masano that helped with my purchase of my new Transit !!!

Got off to a shaky start at Tom Masano! To be fair we found out it was their first day of operation post-COVID, and when we walked in everyone seemed scared to death. Nobody wanted to help us and we were told to make an appointment and come back. But I was ready to buy a car!! Maura Logrono in their office had no fear and jumped up to save the day. She walked us outside to see what we were looking for and worked some of her magic to get us an immediate appointment! My wife wasn’t able to make it to the appointment and this car is for her- they let me take the car for a couple hours and bring it home to show her and really get a good feel for it. We had a very specific set of demands and requirements for the vehicle and Maura searched the entire country until she found it, in the exact colors with the exact features we wanted. The one feature the car didn’t have that we want, she made accommodations to install it post-sale as an add-on. She was creative and innovative, pleasant and quick to respond with communication, any time day/night/weekend! If there was something she didn’t know, she had her wonderful husband Curtis on standby as the technical expert in the dealership! They were a great 1-2 punch. In terms of signing the deal, they got us in and out quick! We walked in and signed a few things and we were driving off the lot before you knew it. My wife and I overall in the end had a fantastic experience. I highly recommend asking for the Logrono’s. We are looking forward to their service capabilities with the convenient pickup and drop off services they offer! Thanks again!

Almost everything was done online so I basically went in took a test drive and was literally out of the dealership in an hourMy sales rep Richard was excellent and patient with my many questions and very helpful with explaining the technology in my 2018 Ford Escape SEL. The pricing was by far the best in the area for the features and mileage I wantedI would highly recommend Masano Ford for an easy and transparent cat buying experience!
I’ve gotten at least 10 request from Masano to do a review of my purchase. They wore me down. So here it is. I bought a 2021 truck. After about a week it had a dead battery. I took it in and they did a SW update to fix it. That worked. A week after that I had ABS and Brake warnings while driving. The brakes went into manual mode. I took it in and they had it for three weeks. Mostly due to the part not being available. Third thing. The truck is supposed to have fords backup assist using either a trailer sensor or trailer sticker that come with the truck. But turns out the stickers are only supported with a SW update. And Ford has not releases that SW. it’s nearly May, come on already Ford. None of these issues are Masano related. They are Ford issues. But I did get to spend about 6 hours in Masano’s waiting area. 4 during the brake diagnostics. Too long. During the brake module issue they said they needed to keep it. So they offered to shuttle me home. The shuttle driver ask what I was in for. So I told him the story. He called back to the shop and suggested they give me a loaner car. They agreed so he took me back for it. Kudos to him. I was a bit ticked that I sat there for hours and they didn’t offer one. No one knew it was going to be three weeks for a part. The shuttle driver took the customer service initiative. Good story to share with the service department reps. During the 3 weeks wait I complained to Ford about their product. And they offered a few things to smooth it over. Again, no issue wit Masano. But they were talking to Ford during this and could have taken the lead asking Ford to offer something. So, Masano was fine. But, finding those opportunities to step up to a great dealer rating is what to strive for.Thanks.

I dealt with Mike Whitney in the Commerical department. The service all around was great. We purchased (2) medium roof transits and traded in a couple older vehicles in the fleet. I dont have time to describe the whole deal, it was all around really good service, I am very very happy with it all. Also, I strongly dislike pressure to purchase, Mike did not pressure in the slightest way and I believe I got a good deal on the vans.

I am very picky when it comes to people working on my vehicles. I do most work myself and usually do. Over the last two years I have let the staff at Masano work on my truck and am very happy with the service. They do great work and the cost is reasonable.
Masano Ford was awesome in getting my car in quickly to diagnose my issue with water leaking into my 2016 Ford Escape. But very unsatisfied with Ford Company. Was very hesitant to buy a Ford after having many problems in the past. the vehicle is not even 5 years old and Masano diagnosed 2 places of water leaking into the front passenger floor. the Moon roof is $ 1100 just to repair a seal but of course the seal only comes with the glass for the moon roof. I will never buy another Ford product with quality standards not close to other manufactures. its a shame that a company as big as Ford can not guarantee their product beyond 3 years. i guess that is why they only do 3 years as they expect things to go wrong.

First and last time I bring my truck there!!The first time I went in I spoke with I believe her name was Stacy who quoted a timing chain and water pump at $1200 which I thought sounded low so I asked her again And she repeated $1200. So I made the appointment and when I went in it was going to be $3600. I also had the transmission fluid flushed and a couple of other things done. The first time I drove my truck transmission took a while to ship and when I called and question Stacy said well you have a lot of miles on your truck so I asked her it’s just a coincidence? Her reply was “guess so”. I just thought she was very rude and the company could do without her. Another thing that happened with her was when I told her what was owed on my truck she said oh boy did they see you coming. Never again will I do business there. The one good thing was I had the truck detailed and he did an excellent job
The people are great helpful very nice. But not sure if the covid regulations are kinda hampering things a little. Would like to have the option of no appointment for service.. Other wise not bad didnt wait to long, waiting room was nice an comfy.

My husband hadnt bought a new car in 10 years. Honestly, I think we kept putting it off because we were not looking forward to the whole car buying experience. I had a less than enjoyable experience buying out my lease at Tom Masano Ford today. I had extended my lease at the increased rate for the max six months Ford allows and decided I would just buyout my lease since I had equity in it. I thought the sales manager Jeff Spence was willing to work with me while I got my out-of-state license and I paid for new tires and maintenance on the car before it would go through inspection to make the process easier when I bought it but he frequently didn’t respond to my emails or calls. I finally got ahold of him on Day 18 of the 20 day post term period where Ford lets you buyout your lease before it goes to the dealership or auction, to confirm buyout on Day 20. I showed up at the agreed about time after already filling out the credit app a week prior, and speaking to multiple individuals via email about financing etc, and when I arrived, no one knew why I was there or what I had already done. This was frustrating. I was asked the same questions by at least 3 different people multiple times which was exhausting and irritating. As I was trying to get proof of my insurance I noticed my insurance carrier must have only updated my mailing address when I moved from NY to PA and not my Policy address and it was after hours so I couldn’t get him to update it so I had to come back the next day (Day 21). When I came back on Day 21 it seemed like no one wanted to work with me to finish the paperwork and Vince was visibly bothered. I went through a lot transferring my car from NY to PA and buying out my lease when I probably should have just returned the lease and did business with a dealership happy to have my business. I know lease buyouts aren’t based on commission and pay very little to the salesman but customer service is customer service and I wasn’t given the best customer service at Tom Masano Ford. I have owned Ford Motor Vehicles for 17 years, and my last salesman Jerry Reyes at VanBortel Ford in Rochester, NY was amazing! He even helped me out during this lease end process when he knew he wasn’t going to make any commission. Tom Masano Ford can learn a lot from VanBortel Ford. When you are spending tens of thousands of dollars on a vehicle, don’t settle for a dealership that isn’t happy to work with you. I am giving Tom Masano Ford two stars only because I am grateful I was extended the 20 days post term to get my license and maintenance squared away.

Mike made the new car purchase process easy. To be fair, I did my homework and built my car online so I knew all of the options and features and what the car would cost. The Mustang Mach E isnt available to test drive yet but Mike told me that Tom Masano Ford should have one on their lot soon.
I just purchased a 2019 Ford Escape and had a wonderful experience. My salesman, Dave Horrigan, was the best! No hassle - no pressure. For me, car shopping can be a daunting task, but Dave made the whole process easy. In fact, it was so easy, that I ended up buying another car that day-a 2014 Ford Focus ST (love it!). Purchased a new vehicle here. Everyone was friendly and my salesman Jeff Bieber was great, very knowledgeable and did not try to pressure me into buying anything. Also, he was able to retrieve my sunglasses that I left in my trade in car almost a week later. Lol The only negative was the dealership wouldnt budge on the price which Im assuming was because the suv is in high demand.
Just bought a brand spanking’ new 2020 F150 Lariat from Masano Ford. In love with the truck. I would recommend Masano Ford to absolutely anyone, what a great experience. My sales person was Maura Sites, she is hands down the nicest person I’ve ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. I purchased a vehicle from the used car retailer at Tom Masano Ford. I spoke with Carlos Reyes the salesman and let him know my wife and grand children would be using this vehicle on a regular basis. Carlos assured me that his mechanics would go over the vehicle and check it out. I know the vehicle was in AS IS condition so I began to put money into repairs on the vehicle to the tune of $1400. I took it in for inspection and the mechanic informed me the vehicle should never have been sold and is a hazard to drive because if it was in even a minor crash the effects could be catastrophic . I could not be more upset about these events. I tried to speak to the manager and he informed me that I would be charged for all the miles that I drove in the vehicle even though it should have never been sold to me. Unbelievable I have never seen a case of Profit above safety in my life.. So I dont know why this is surprising to me but I have not heard from anyone at the dealership in the past 7 days after their email response said I would get contacted by an owner in 24 hours. We have gone 7 days without a car for my wife to drive. I would really love to hear the reason why I was not contacted. This dealership just continues to disappoint me on every level.

I am in the process of buying a new car. The dealerships I am visiting all show a CarFax MILEAGE ROLLBACK WARNING on my truck (of 50,000 miles).I was not presented CarFax when i purchased my truck from Masano.The report shows the previous owner had the truck serviced multiple times at Tom Masano. How did the dealership NOT see this? I am a handshake trusting guy. Due diligence was not done. A few miles, OK.But 50, 000? As a result, I paid more on the front end, and am getting penalized on the back end as I look to trade.This morning I spoke with a Manager. He told me there is no way Tom Masano Dealership knew of this issue. (even the though the truck had been previously serviced at Masano). And i left feeling like i had been dismissed. But.......he did make me an offer for a higher trade-in if I bought from the dealership.Expensive Lesson learned. No more Fords for me.Follow upMr. Karr and ii connected and will speak soon.

My wife leased a car with Ford Masano and I must say that their service has been among the best Ive ever encountered. All the visits for scheduled check ups, tune ups, inspection, etc., have been not only very reasonably priced (cheap), but really pleasant. Highly recommended.

My wife and I saw a Ford F-150 on the Tom Masano Ford Lincoln website and we tried to look at it right away. We called and I talked to a sales consultant named Jeff Bieber. Jeff informed me that the vehicle that we were looking at was being sold that very same day. Go figure. But Jeff asked me a few questions and he did have others there that would be an interest to us. We came down right away and Jeff was very professional and he was very helpful. My wife and I wanted something with LOW mileage and Jeff had one that met our expectations. They also gave us a reasonable trade in value for our old truck and I must say, we are very happy with our experience at Tom Masano Ford Lincoln.
