Bought a 2021 x7 m50i.. flawless purchasing experience. Beautiful, clean dealership with attentive staff. Straight forward and not pushy. When I got a nail in my run flat tire 2 weeks later (buy the tire protection plan!) they came and picked it up at my work, dropped off a beautiful loaner, and brought mine back the next day. Had tried to deal with a local BMW for the tire and it was a hassle. Will only use BMW of Reading from now on. Top notch service and a stress free process for both buying and repairs.
I worked with Ethan to custom build a beautiful 2022 Phytonic Blue X3M40 with Cognac interior.Ethan and Angie patiently answered my numerous questions about the build since the configurator wasnt updated on the BMW website for the 2022 model then.They were honest and upfront about the availability, pricing & rebates; gave me a very good discount and didnt try any of the shady dealer tactics which I had experienced elsewhere. There was no push to upsell any features or warranties.On the delivery day, Angie promised us the fastest lease signing of our lives (knowing that we had driven 4+ hours to get there) and she delivered! Angie was SUPER easy to work with and very organized. She told me exactly what she needed from me, set expectations and met the expectations. Did not try any sleezy Stealership-type tactics (i.e. fear mongering), no upselling me, just gave it to me straight and provided info so that I could make an informed decision as opposed to trying to make the decision for me.However, perhaps the best part was when I had to use my rim and tire insurance 7 months later and couldnt find my contract. I called, left a voicemail and moments later received an email with the contract and an apology that she was on a Zoom call but heard my voicemail and wanted to get my contract out to me ASAP. WOW! Fantastic Dealership in the state of Pennsylvania. Got done getting an m550i from Ethan and Angie at sales, and cannot be happier with both the vehicle and my time at the dealership. They were super fast to get all the paperwork done as they knew we had driven a decent distance to get the vehicle. All questions were answered and the crew over there are as nice as can be. BUYER BEWARE/GO ELSEWHERE FOR SERVICE. I have owned multiple BMWs and the service department at Reading is the absolute worst. Took my 535D in for recall work (EGR Cooler) which they said was fine and the reason for a code my car was throwing was due to a bad sensor. They replace the sensor…doesn’t fix the issue. They decide to do the recall work…doesn’t fix the issue. I tell them I guarantee its the EGR valve which is under warranty and they wont replace it. They want to do a smoke test and replace a back pressure tube first….cause steps in a process. I explain that the EGR valve is under warranty and is most likely the issue. They wont repair so i tell them to give me my car back and i will take it to an Indy shop. Indy shop says…yup its the EGR valve. I paid 1K for work at BMW of Reading that didn’t need to be done and they refuse to reimburse the EGR valve repair costs or diagnostic fee. They reply…you should have let us replace all the parts in the steps until we got to the EGR valve. I will continue to purchase my cars and services from anywhere but this trash dealership. STAY AWAYEdgar is a good advisor….management is unprofessional and should be replaced if you want customers coming back.

On Friday afternoon, I took delivery of my teenage dream car after eight weeks of restoration and repair at BMW of Reading. Having acquired my 1992 BMW 850i V12 6-speed manual in June, we opened Pandora’s Box to an unforeseen adventure: one of challenges, frustrations, patience, and pleasures. I entrusted my service advisor and service technician, Kerrie Hummel and Joe Kocher, both of whom have maintained my and my family’s BMWs for nearly ten years. This restoration was a collaborative effort that involved an entire team of people: Steve Bare, service manager; Dana Wolf, shop foreman; Ruben Fontanez, parts manager; Kevin Pitts, general manager; and Ben Will, social media and marketing. Certified dealerships sometimes have negative reputations for taking advantage of customers whose automobiles are no longer with warranties – not in this situation. Due to the complexity of the job we faced, and particularly with such a historic vehicle, I trusted BMW of Reading with my beloved BMW. BMW of Reading went above and beyond to restore an epic vehicle to her rightful and magnificent glory (unveiling ceremony included). A heartfelt “Thank You!” from a Bimmer lover and loyalist. I just picked up my 2021 X5 this morning at BMW of Reading. THis is my third BMW. From the start of the process to the delivery, it was an excellent customer experience. In addition to BMW of Reading, I reached out to two other BMW dealers, and it wasnt even close. Dave Horrigan my sales consultant, worked with Eric, the manager, and gave me a price that was better (by a lot) than the other two BMW dealers. Also, Dave did a great job of staying in touch, but did not pressure me. We did talk about a few items I was looking for and Dave, working with Eric, got back to me in a timely manner. I ordered my X5 about 5 weeks ago and when i picked it up this morning, it looked amazing. Yes, there was some negotiating involved, however, it was done professionally and it focused on what I was looking for. Dave did a great job of showing me the new features of my X5, and the delivery was a great experience as wellAlso, Chris, the financing consultant, was very professional and thorough.Dave Horrigan did a great job, as did Eric and Chris. My service experience with my 2013 128i was amazing from start to finish! This was my first time at a BMW dealership and they treated me like a lifetime customer. Im not sure words can describe the EXCELLENT service I received from BMW of Reading when leasing my BMW. I live in North Carolina but leased a new X6 based on their excellent reviews, service, and pricing. Obviously the entire transaction was remote, and Angie Dietrich was on top of all the paperwork. As a CPA, it was a refreshing experience dealing with Angie and how she knew all the numbers, was able to explain them, and clearly and concisely walk through the process. She sent my documents overnight and included very clear instructions (like, very clear), and included a return envelope all paid for - just wow! Im usually a tough grader and based on my prior experiences at dealerships I really was impressed with the way Angie and her team provided service. I also did a performance delivery pick up in South Carolina, adding more complexity to the deal, and that was NO ISSUE AT ALL for them. While at my PDC appointment, they actually told me Eric Salem and Jay Simon are the exception to the rule and they are KNOWN for being one of the best dealerships (BMW of Reading). I dont usually review on Google but I wanted to make sure customers were aware of their excellent service, even if youre buying remote and picking up remote . Great work guys.
Was my worst experience with BMW. They charged me over $500.00 to place a piece of tape on my trunk car cable and still not functioning properly. I am very dissatisfy with the result.

First off, I want to say thank you to Angie Dietrich in the finance office. I know, who thanks the finance office of a dealership? She is a straight shooter, no frills and got it done. I’m from the NYC area and she handled all the paperwork via email, a quick phone call, and boom! Even the registration and tags all done. I literally did not have to do anything! Michael who delivered my car to my door in NYC before 830am was amazing and I’m very thankful. He had me sign everything and showed me a couple things about the car. Great guy to deal with. I called BMW of Reading in January after looking at a pre-owned 2017 BMW M2 I found online. I reached Jay Simon, salesperson, and setup a time to look at the car. Upon arrival it had already been cleaned up (in the dead of winter!) and ready for a test drive. I was interested in the car, but made Jay work for my business. After several rounds of discussion, we made a deal and I was handed off to Michelle in finance. Michelle also worked with me to get the best deal on an Ultimate Care warranty and made financing a breeze. I drove away very happy - but my story didnt end there. There were a few items missing from my car including the second key fob remote, and Jay came through on every promise and went to great lengths to insure my happiness. I couldnt be happier with my purchase and the team at BMW of Reading exceeded all of my expectations. You can buy a car anywhere, but not every dealership will treat you as a valuable customer. Do yourself a favor and go to BMW of Reading and ask for Jay Simon.

I was driving home in a rainstorm about 2 weeks ago, got home, and the next day my car would only start sporadically if I kept the key turned about 10 seconds or so. Needless to say, I attempted to take the car for inspection this morning. Upon pulling the car into the garage, my mechanic notified me that the undercar shield was zip tied on, and was now hanging half way off, so when driving home in this rainstorm, I guess these fantastic zip ties didnt hold so well and water got into my starter which is why its been having issues starting. I called as soon as I left the garage, and spoke to the service manager. He said he would replace the undercar shield, but not the starter. So hes admitting fault by offering to replace a $30 plastic piece, but not to repair the starter he quoted me for $900?! Makes zero sense. He then says he will give me a 10% discount on parts and labor. I say forget it,Ill pick up the shield and take it elsewhere. Why not take the shield if thats all hes offering? Wrong again. He then proceeds to tell me that he wont give me the $30 shield, unless I have the $900 starter replaced there. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. Also, took my car there about a month ago for a recall. Scheduled an appointment, dropped the car off at 7am. Never heard anything back so I call around 4:30, just for them to tell me the part wasnt at the shop. Why have me drop my car off for an appointment if you dont even have the part to replace? Would never go back to this nightmare of a service center.
I purchased a 2021 BMW X3 on December 23 and cannot say enough of the service I received from everyone. Lilley was especially courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating. When I am in the market again I will def be dealing with Lilley and BMW of Reading

Korbin was our sales person. He responded timely, arranged fix-up and communicated every step of the way. Since we were out of PA, we didnt expect they would go so above and beyond. The price of our new car was fair right from the beginning of our conversations. There were no surprises during the ordering and purchasing processes. Our car was delivered in mint condition. Jay Simon, our client advisor, as well as Ethan Stever, the BMW Genius, were polite, patient, knowledgeable, and easy to get along with. Purchasing a new car can be a high pressure and dreaded experience. Ours was not!

Kudos to Michele Grim, the Business Manager, for negotiating and finding the best interest rate for our purchase and providing the ultimate professional service. I cant thank enough our salesperson, Jess Kreider, for his friendly, no pressure but a through and complete consultation which resulted in a great experience at this OUTSTANDING dealership. Each and everyone we talked to at this business was pleasant and professional despite the end of the month crunch and we really appreciated that. We will see you in about a year when my other son and I will be there to purchase his first BMW!

This maybe a long review so here’s the short version: I strongly recommend BMW of Reading and the sales team (Dave Horrigan, Eric Salem and Chris Madeira). My experience has been consistently no-pressure, honest and transparent — unfortunately a combination seldomly seen in auto sales industry— which compels me to drive 4 hours (one-way) to Reading, PA despite having multiple local BMW dealerships.I came across with BMW of Reading three years ago, purely by chance. I was looking for a specific X6, and they had one in their loaner fleet. Off the bat, they offered me a great deal for a lease, provided me all the information that I need and I made up my mind easily. Even when I get there, my guard was up — typical experience where “they” try to sneak in high interest rates, exorbitant fees, F&I products etc. None of that nonsense was there. I actually said this to Eric, the sales manager, after I signed the lease. “What’s the catch? When are you going to get me?” — the answer was clearly no catch…just a pleasant experience.Fast forward three years, when my lease was nearing its end, I reached out to Dave and Eric again. Dave helped me look at a few loaners but I ultimately decided to special order a car to my liking. Again, BMW of Reading did not disappoint me in how easy the transaction was. Right off the bat, I got a great offer on my build, lease terms were at the “buy rate” without any mark-ups. I was presented with my options for additional products, but I was never pressured in any way to buy anything that I didn’t want. Delivery process was super easy, and comfortable — everything was ready when I got to the dealership. I signed my papers and drove off with my brand new car.All in all, BMW of Reading is a great place to get your next car. They are open and honest, and never went back on anything they promised. You will not have to go through the back-and-forth of haggling, and never at any point, will feel like you are taken advantage of. Dave, Eric and Chris will work with you, clearly tell you what they can and cannot do, and will be quite competitive in their pricing. I had a fantastic experience at BMW of Reading. I sent an inquiry about a vehicle at 10 pm on a Sunday and received a reply from Eric within minutes saying that someone would contact me in the morning. I heard back from Sorin the next morning about the car, and went in that afternoon for a test drive. Start to finish, the whole process was a pleasure. Angie worked some financing magic and a few hours later I drove off in my new (to me) BMW i3. Many thanks to Sorin, Angie, Eric, and everyone at BMW of Reading. They know customer service!

Great selection of vehicles and I found exactly what I wanted online from them. I bought during the pandemic so it wasn’t actually a conventional purchase but it went as smoothly as possible. I needed 2 front tires and an alignment for my BMW 540i. I did not have a reservation for the tire service. I came into the dealership in a panic. The Maintenance Supervisor, Kerrie Hummel, took excellent care of me. Got me a loaner car and put two new tires on the car. Kerrie Hummel went above and beyond in her commitment to the customer. She and excellent work done are the reasons I keep coming back.
My husband and I have been looking all over the East coast for an x3 the last month. We’ve been to countless dealerships and this is by far the best. We drove 4 hours to get here and we can not recommend it enough. Marcus and Steve are phenomenal!!! We definitely be repeat customers!

Picked up my ‘21 m340i order on 12/5 from BMW of Reading, having driven all the way up from Virginia, and I have to say from order through delivery was the most pleasant process I’ve gone through with any dealership. No surprises, no unwanted upsells, no obfuscation of any aspect of the #s/deal we were working out. Just a really easy and pleasant process. I want to especially thank Eric for helping me customize and get through the initial order and tracking process including answering multiple questions as we went through about performance upgrades, etc.; Angie their wonderful Finance Manager for handling all my quote and #s related questions (was quite a few) and reengineering the deal for me several times to get my drive offs and payments where I needed them to be while handling VA’s funky and nuanced tax and titling procedures like a champ; and, Ethan on the Genius side for aiding in the order process and tracking as well as basically hosting me when I went to sign and providing incredible insights and getting me accustomed to the features of the car. The entire staff was so personable and accommodating throughout the experience, especially while I was on-site to sign and take delivery. Also, I thought the showroom and customer waiting area were amongst the nicest of any dealership I’ve been to, and was well set up to support social distancing since we are still in the throws of this pandemic. Big thank you again, and will hopefully be repeating with them again in 3 years!
