ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENTOur family experience here has been lack luster so far but not a total loss. There has recently been a turn over in this company’s management.Although we have had issues from the start - management has been transparent about the weak points in their repair area.The new manager has been forthcoming and honors his word. He has made us aware of the issues and his plans to make changes for the better.Time will only tell what the outcome will be. I truly hope this company can execute the transition and overcome their shortcomings due to weak links.The business plan and vision could be incredible- reliable used vehicles for families, while you build your credit with accurate repairs and attention to detail when ensuring the longevity for the customer AFTER the warranty is up.I am truly hoping that over the next year we see a positive change. I DO have faith in the new management and I DO see the changes being made.I truly hope this company can make these positive changes and reach its envisioned potential.If you are a new customer- it does help your credit, and the new manager is a true individual that does care about the customer and the quality.I look forward to seeing the new changes and hope to end this in a 5 star review in the near future.

Over 3 days we have called over 20 times to get our vehicle serviced under our warranty, but no one answers the phone in the service area nor calls us back. Go anywhere else to by a car because they dont ever allow you to utilize your warranty.Update: They have made up for the no answer/no call back. We left happier than trying to get in there.

My husband and I bought a 2014 chevy cruze from here a month ago and this persons review is spot on with how we feel about the car we purchased! We were sold a car that we had to take up for a repair not even 2 weeks after purchasing it. We told them to check the negative battery terminal and they obviously did not listen. I have been stuck in 2 different parking lots on 2 different occasions after taking it in for a repair. Key got stuck and ignition and car would not turn on. I popped the hood of the car lightly touched the negative battery terminal wire and the car came right on! Also want to point out we have to make a $225 payment every 2 weeks for a car I dont even feel safe driving myself, my husband, or our 5 year old daughter around in. Also our breaks have been squeaking since a week after we purchased the vehicle. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO TO A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP AND AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. YOURE BETTER OFF BUYING A BICYCLE

My husband and I went to check this place out and it was a waste of time! They sell junk cars overpriced and act like theyre doing you a favor. (Ex. $15,000 for a 2007 rust bucket that wanted to shut off during the test drive) They have less than a dozen cars and push you to buy the one they want and only that one. When youre the buyer with the cash and income you should be able to look at the car youre going to love and feel safe in. Not to mention when your car breaks down(which it will if you buy here) they dont give a loaner while its getting serviced.The building looks just as runned down as the vehicles. The employees are unprofessional and are not very knowledgeable. They cant answer simple questions without sending a manager in for help.Definitely not worth it. Please check out other places in the area before even thinking about purchasing a car here!!! If youre worried about your credit dont feel discouraged and check places like Heritage Auto on Morgantown Rd.

This place needs to be shut down period. Warranty covers close to nothing, mechanics are clueless, super over priced cars, they make you believe they fixed everything in your car and months later things go downhill and you have to pay out of pocket to fix it, people working for CNAC are rude, should have much better treatment for customers paying over 10k for a lemon. Cant wait to be done with these people.

They get their cars from auctions. They DO NOT check them- they clean them, however if you need a reliable car, DO NOT go to these guys. You will lose a job for sure with their repair timeline alone. This is the worst company - the cars look good on the outside, but I have yet to meet ONE person who is happy and has a car with no issues for more than a month at a time.You will waste your money, your time and your patience.Not worth it- if I could give a zero I would and I DO plan to take action against the company.They allow families to be unsafe, they dont care about you, or your kids. They are going to get someone seriously injured one of these days with their business. And I hope Karma finds them very soon.Too many people are in danger because of their poor business ethics.

TERRIBLE DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! THEY SOLD ME A CAR THAT THEY MADE SOUND AMAZING AND 1 MONTH LATER THE TRANSMISSION WENT!! They then told me that they would put me in another car... I went without a vehicle for 1 month then 1 month later still didnt get the car that they said I would get because it was still getting Fixed. I then saw the car and they let let me test drive it... IT BROKE DOWN!!! And that was a huge eye opener and a major red flag. About a week or two later they gave me a loaner car and its funny because they say they dont do that I had the loaner car for a month after and nobody was calling me back. It was impossible to get ahold of them so I got my money back!!! DONT BUY HERE OR PAY HERE!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Cars they sell never work, always need repair and take months to even do so. They wont even update you on the status of your car either. Prices are very high for a lemon. They are rude, and liars. Never heard so much disrespect from anyone. Especially from their new manager, Vlad. I overheard him talk poorly to multiple customers, and even once threated to call the police on one. Unprofessional. DO NOT BUY HERE.

I’ve been with this company since I started driving which was 3 years ago. I love their service. They try their best to help and keep their customers satisfied. They are really cool individuals. I bought a Lexas is250 from them. They do a pretty good job overall. I only have 2 issues. 1 they dont answer there phone a lot. 2 when the battery goes dead for what ever reason, they dont know how to set the car up again so everything works again. They told me flat out. We dont know how to do that I told them, neither do I. What to do?

Now every time she calls they give her the run around, the car is supposedly still under warranty, has factory recalls transmission issues and they take the car says 3-5 business days to look at it and 2-4 weeks for repairs,Not fair! Gave her her 19% interest rate and have no remorse are very unethical and doesn’t understand how this is a big inconvenience now! She purchased the car for work not a hobby! If you have her car for that long how is she supposed to get to work!BEWARE!

Amazing. Milady is the real MVP of that spot. My car broke down on a Monday morning. Wasnt able to go home to my family till Saturday. Milady made that happen. They work with you. And try the hardest to not let you leave empty handed. I am very satisfied and I for one will remain loyal to this particular store.

My car had an after market muffler and I had to bring it in because it turned my check engine light on. I waited about a week and a few days to get it back but it was worth it! Ozzy and Bruce really kept in touch with me throughout the whole repair. When it was time to pick up my car, they worked their magic somehow and I ended up paying less than I needed to! I am extremely satisfied with their service! They really took care of me and my car! I would definitely recommend!

Parker worked hard to find a car that is reliable and was in my budget. Everyone was nice and easy to work with. I would highly recommend anyone to get a car here.(Update)I had started to hear a whirl type noise when driving. The first time they couldnt reproduce the noise. Tried again a couple days later and the mechanic heard it and in couple of hours later it was fixed. They worked real hard to find the problem and fix it. I know i was driving them crazy to get my car fixed. I was still treated great. They really do work for you. I would without a doubt will keep giving them my business. I have never had a car dealership work so hard find the issue and fix it. They really care about making you happy.

Byrider is by far the worst dealership in the area. Terrible vehicles that needs work or breaks down while test driving them. They have the worst customer service and the salesmen are clueless with dealing with the customers. I would not recommend anyone to go there for a vehicle.

I took my car for an oil change and 5 days after my whole oil was on the ground. They came pick my car and towed it to their facility. Fix my car at no cost. The only bad part was I had to wait 7 days to get my car back. The new guy that works there I think his name is Austin was really helpful. He also helped me get a part I was waiting for months to get there.

Ozzy provided first class service and made me feel like the car got the attention it needed. He was honest through the entire process and kept me well informed. I definitely recommend Ozzy when coming to Byrider Reading!

Detailing is not one of your best jobs. You went from telling me that the car wasnt ready to be sold to rushing me into it. Engine cover totally missing, child safety lock on rear door cant be taken off. One day after getting the car, low pressure light on dashboard goes on.. took 4 rags to clean back window, kept turning up black. None of the windows where clean.I looked at alot of used cars but this car is far from being listed good condition.

I was skeptical to say the least when I was told they didn’t care about my credit score. Was so impressed when I drove out with a car! Great warranty and this will help fix my credit. Wow you guys are the best!!!!

I live 2 and a half hours away I called made sure before I drove all the way down there that they had a car I could drive off the lot in with the money I had down. I was told no problem at all come on down we got a car for you. Well to say this car was GROSS would be an understatement. It smelt like something died in it it had obvious cigarette burns all over the seats and to top it off they wanted 15000 for a 10 year old car that had 96000 miles on it . When I said I did not like it but I did like the car next to it and was willing to pay what they were asking for that car I was told no. So on top of wasting my time driving almost 3 hours away for nothing I left very unhappy and dissatisfied with this dealership.

Don’t believe a word they say when they tell you that they will do work on your vehicle. They had my vehicle for a week and fixed one switch when the said they would have it all done, tried calling to get progress report on my car never answer the phone. Terrible customer service in the service department will not buy here again

I have bought two cars from this byrider. Both times everyone was extremely nice and helpful.

At first I was very happy about owning the car. But then when I attempted to get service work done and that was a nightmare, my car went into there shop 3 times. Of which each time I got my car back the problem it went in for got fixed but it came back with a new problem. I have owned the car for over 2 years now. When this pandemic began I maintained contact on a weekly basis with the finance dept. And was reassured no credit reporting was going to take place. Which was a massive LIE! My credit is worse then before I purchased the car and I have made all my payments and still own the car. This company has taken all my money and at this point I couldnt even get a $100 loan if I tried. I am so angry and helpless and am now stuck dealing with this company until I pay off the car. Even then I wont be able to get another car unless I use them again. Its unfair and criminal what the have done to me. But I guess Im supposed to thank them because I have a car. Well thanks for making me pay criminally high rates for a car that aint worth a quarter of what Im paying and not only that but now I am even worse off then before I trusted as long as I keep up my end of the deal they would too! Well thats what I get for keeping my word.Why is it if I dont pay, I am held responsible by losing my car. But if JD Byrider doesnt keep there word I just have to bend over..... Criminal business practices should be held accountable.

All I did was look for a car on their website and inquired about one and they kept calling and calling and calling day in day out day in day out even though I had asked them to stop they still were calling day in Day out avoid this place unless you feel like being spammed with phone calls

Jim and his crew are great! Jim went way above and beyond to find the car I wanted. They didnt have what I was looking for so he looked and found the car I wanted. The time to do everything is a bit long but so far Im very happy.

Getting someone to actually call you back is like pulling teeth. They have NO issues pulling out more than one payment at a time.... (This has happened multiple times) and takes them days to replace it.

I bought a car there 2 years ago. I have had it in for maintenance a few times. Recently J. Choy took over the service dept and it was a little better.EDIT: after weighing the whole experience I would NEVER buy another car here again. Its so bad I feel I need to warn others with a large sign out front. Predatory at best
