I like this little bakery! The raised donuts are legit and the danishes are pretty good too. They offer seasonal baked goods, such as apple decorated sugar cookies, along with the traditional. If youre in need of a cake, they have those as well. Definitely worth a visit when in Red Wing!

Not bad, but a little overhyped in my opinion. The coffee cake pull apart was really good, but the twisted donut was pretty average.

Voted number one donut in Minnesota so had to try it out! The place was very busy, but the line moved quick. Large selection of sweet and savory baked goods. Connected to coffeeshop and diner.

This bakery is award-winning for a reason. It was absolutely adorable inside and the staff was super kind and very patient, especially when assisting a group that couldnt decide between all of the amazing options! The decorated cookies were super detailed, cute, and delicious!

Great selection of doughnuts. The custard bismarck was delicious! Actually tasted/had the texture of a custard vs that standard boxed pudding filling a lot of places have.

The sign claiming it is Minnesotas best was no joke. We went there while they were having a half off everything sale and it was delicious. I got the Bavarian Cream filled Horseshoe and I immediately regretted not getting their giant version of it. Will definitely be back.

We got donuts here before dinner, and we ended up rushing back before they closed to get more after dinner (they were that good!). Every single donut we tried was amazing, I don’t think you can make a wrong decision. We get donuts about once a week around the twin cities, and these won hands down. We also got a few cookies that were delicious. The prices can’t be beat, and the treats are great.

I am writing on my experience today 9/3 at about 8:35am. So I would give this 5 stars based on the donuts and other goods. However, with the food industry comes service. I was very disheartened here this morning, as I was inclined to instantly get on here and write this review in hopes that it is seen by management. I am hoping this isn’t the work culture of this place or that this mean and bully type behavior is not acceptable here…Today, an older lady employee, idk her name, who was working must’ve hit the wrong button on the cash register. She asked another worker for help and while the worker was helping out on the cash register she told the older woman “do not hoover and watch over my shoulder, back up.” The older worker simply said “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to, I was just trying how to learn how to fix it.” And was very sweet about it. However, the younger girl who I then heard called Becky, was very rude, telling her “no, if there’s an accident you don’t try to fix it, call someone else, we won’t even teach you guys how to fix it, you won’t know how.”This rubbed me terribly wrong. Becky then walked away rolling her eyes and then I could see her go to another employee and talk about the older employee, infront of all of us customers. Not cool in my book. Why put someone down, especially loudly AND in front of customers? BS. I don’t like this at all.Again, I’m hoping this is an isolated incident but this type of rudeness is something I just can’t support at a business.

This has the best tasting donuts Ive ever had! They have a wide variety of treats to choose from, with reasonable prices to boot!I recommend you get there early (within an hour of them opening shop) so the wait isnt long. Wait any longer and therell be a line out the door.

Popular bakery in a pretty, downtown location. They had an expansive selection of cookies, pastries, cakes, sweet breads, and more. We got a date bar, cookie, and a donut (we HAD to sample a few things) and all were enjoyed heartily. We got mostly classic flavors that were done well, all at a fair price.

Great little place in Red Wing. The food is absolutely amazing. The portions are fairly sizeable. The Reuben I got was particularly bursting with corned beef and sauerkraut. I got a smoothie that was also delicious. Fun little place that has a decent bakery.

Use to think this place was the best. The donuts are really good, but the service is really slow and they dont care about Covid at all. People will be standing outside social distancing, then once inside the very very small area you will have 15 people butt to butt with each other. Also today it was 45 degrees out and they propped the door open, my legs were freezing buy the time I left 15 minutes waiting in line.Management needs to learn to speed up and think about their customers.

A cute bakery, 3 doughnuts for $5. Coffee was half off on Monday. Espresso was mediocre. Huge selection of various frosted doughnuts. Table has dried frosting all over and chair had a dirty butter knife on it. A novelty stop in historic redwing.

Small building with line squeezing all around the bakery and coffee shop to purchase baked goods. Waited in line 15 minutes and finally gave up. The hot chocolate was good.

No matter what you get here, it is always fresh and delicious. You can go elsewhere and buy bakery for cheaper, but it wont be as good.

Oh my!! All the wonderful pastries and cookies! How can one possibly choose? We bought a loaf of bread and brought it home. Ate it later that day. Three of us polished it off in one sitting (oops) it was so good. So fresh and soft. And oh the cookies, they are decorated amazingly. Almost too nice to eat. They are as tasty as they look. Soft and good. The frosty is oh so yummy also. It is a good thing that we dont live close. We were very disappointed that the coffee shop part was closed. Remodeling? This is a very busy place.

We had a very special 2 birthdays this last weekend.. our eldest turned 18 and my mom had her birthday the next day and was up w my stepdad for a visit. We wanted to make the weekend special for both. First got our sons cake ordered awhile back and then a few days prior we called to ask if we could have a special cake made for our mom, she said yes and we ordered a cake for our mom and they pulled it off no problem. We had two special beautiful amazing cakes that were decorated so beautifully.. both were everything we wanted and more! I cannot begin to say how thankful we are. Our son was blown away by his Nebula cake and our mom cried happy tears the cake was so beautiful. Thank you again for working with us and making our birthday low key weekend together very very special! Will definitely order from here again! Also their other baked goods are amazing! ❤🥰🎉

I got several donuts and the crescendo shape cream sandwich donut was great. The simple pretzel shape glazed donut was also good. None of the donuts in the show case had labels and you can’t see what the customers are pointing from the back so I had to describe each of them. That was a bit stressful. I would appreciate labels in the future

After visiting for my first time today I now fully understand why this is the BEST bakery in Minnesota. The aroma of fresh pastries and bread emanated out on to the sidewalk truly drawing customers in. I ended up trying four different pastries and found each one to be uniquely delightful! Ill certainly be back! If youre feeling adventurous, try the maple bacon donut and a cup of joe.

The breakfast was outstanding! I had the bacon egg and cheese wrap and a flavored coffee on Saturday and I was so disappointed they were closed on Sunday and Monday because I definitely would have been back during my stay in Red Wing.

Amazing food, both in the bakery and the deli. We had a huge apricot pastry, a panini, a flatbread, specialty drink, and coffee- all incredible. The young ladies in the deli were so friendly and helpful too. Since it was almost closing time, they were chatting and singing- really a great experience. We will go back!

This is one of the only local spots in Red Wing that I would highly NOT recommend. I wouldnt come back here if someone paid me to. I have been here a few times and always have had stale donuts which is a shame.. I hear they are only good in the morning. As for their selection, they have nothing original to offer. All buttercream and glazed that you can grab at a local Kwik Trip. I drew a line when I saw a man (who I believe is the owner) pick a donut up off the floor and put it back on the rack.
