Travel Centers are definitely the bottom rung when it comes to truck stops. Usually they are just serviceable and just clean enough. This location is not the exception. Also, I had the misfortune of trying to get gas when they were having maintenance done to the pumps. All the pumps. So, yeah, no gas for me. Had to make a second stop elsewhere. Guess it’s got to get done.

This TA is the worst location for truckers who work long hours and looking forward to a nice clean and fresh bathroom to use ! This is unacceptable a bathroom in this disgusting conditions … broken toilets, No Tissues for cleaning yourselves,all the stalls, Had to use hand paper towels, roaches (bugs) walking around you while you sitting on the toilet .. counters full of water and filthy and floors were dirty full of trash all over the floors .. I highly recommend you not use this location! Only parking or some other things

Explaining to my friend driving down the Dunsmuir Grade in stormy weather, I told him this was the best place to get gas and switch drivers. I explained that TA is a Loves competitor. I have to throw in his joke with great segway in regard to a Loves competitor: TA stands for T__s and A__. The pumps are easily truckable even though out through the parked cars is kind of difficult. However, the cleanliness of the restrooms makes 👙 a strong Loves competitor.

Traveling from Texas to Oregon and then through California, I pulled over at this truck stop for gas, food and to rest for a few hours so that I wouldn’t fall asleep and cause an accident on the highway. Their security guard rudely made me move from the spot I was at. So I move, and then an hour later he is banging on my window again saying I had to leave at midnight. What kind of truck stop is this??I’ll never be another traveling customer who goes to another TA

Ive been stopping here for more than 20 years. It has diminished to not much more than a shade of its former glory. Restaurant is permanently closed, hot dog roller and heat table usually empty, shelves barely half stocked. Generally, all around, very shabby. Sad really.

The good: It has fuel. Attendees where polite. Bathroom is mostly usable.Bad: Dirty, poorly stoked shelves, 3/4 sketchy. Unorganized stock sitting in the isles.

It appeared to be very unclean and in bad repair. There were many people whom appeared to be homeless living/staying in the parking lot. Weve stayed overnight many times at truck stops, but this was the noisiest, least comfortable place to stay.

This is the second time I have filled up at a TA truckstop my truck cannot hold 60 gallons that is what it takes to get a free shower they should warn you at the pumps about this .This will be the second and last time I ever fill up At a TA truckstop. And the managers will not take the 48 gallons That I could have filled at another truck stop

One thing I like about the TA is that they have all sorts of things for trucks phone gadgets eating crazy stuff and clothes and more things for cars sta particular of course they all have other cat scale we can see this is a good place to come here and fix the tire now Sporting Life is very uncomfortable most of the parking lot youll see I have a difficulty to park because of little space to turn other than that its not bad what is a good place to come here and do a reset you can see inside there is a Subway or Taco Bell and a restaurant by the restaurant named the best the phone is not the best but to do a restart here its not bad.

Nice truck stop! Great customer service and variety of snacks, foods and drinks for on the road quick stops.

This truck stop is pretty decent nice fresh showers and the food at country pride is excellent especially the steak with potatoes, they also have Popeyes, the employees are pretty good and helpful and the parking for trucks is plenty but it can get full way before the evening.

Go 2 get gas get lost inside looking at all neat stuff

Wish these travel centers would make their gas more accessible to large gas RVs. You cant even pull around behind this building to get to the end pump! And its a tight end curve to get back to the exit. Hard but doable in a pinch.

Dont bother getting a shower at night, took 40 min to stand around waiting for one to get clean, finally gave up once I found out that the cleaner just started their lunch. Guess Kyle is to good to clean a shower for a guest cause I was told Id have to wait more. Absolutely unacceptable in my opinion.

Employee cleaning restrooms had a rude attitude another employee told her she had a rude attitude towards customers and she doesn’t even care that she is rude and has an attitude not to mention none of the bathroom stalls has any seat covers

This is just about the nicest spot I’ve ran out of gas at ever! Had to wait two days for the bank to fix an error to my account, out of gas, while traveling through California! Very nice staff, friendly truckers and travelled s and staff. The police come through on a security and coffee run every so often, keeping it safe, lots of other travelers are here broken down in one way or another, fixing cars. I helped several folks with flat tires and batteries and one guy that got hit in his car pulling in the stop. Friendly community, lovely surroundings. Upstairs lounge with TV, showers, clean restrooms, good food. Had no problem with us basically living out of the car for two days!

Love it and the employees are wonderful always willing to help you with anything you need if they can just smile and Im Jon Jon Best smoke a few joints and be a respectable person they work hard for you and your family

Always a decent place to stop, best place until you hit 100mi into Oregon. Shop Mngr got things taken care of quickly & people were friendly.

Dirty..., people behind counter standing around while they should be cleaning, customer came in did a refill on soda machine then he took a drink and refilled small thermos again, some companies arent letting refills right now. Ordered mild wings at pizza express came to my truck and bit into wings and they are very, very spicy. I got a drink from pizza hut with meal and the Sprite taste like seltzer, I was told to pick a different one but I wanted Sprite so I didnt get a soda, I could have waited for the porter to get off break but my dinner would have been cold

The bathrooms were clean with plenty of stalls. This is a great stopping point that is easy for access and has a good variety of trucker supplies and snacks.

Men’s restroom dirty, no toilet paper in stalls and employees standing around not doing anything. Cashier didn’t bag my snacks I just walked out carrying my snacks like I don’t need a bag. Don’t stop here people.

Fantastic store with great snacks and foodsEven has a microwave you can use. Good place for California souvenirs. Theres a Popeyes and Pizza Hut. The sit down restaurant is closed and you have to eat standing up or take your food to your car. On really hot days and when your air conditioning isnt working, I should have stayed inside and eaten standing up. Looks like a real fun store though that could have you parting with more of your money than you intended. Everyone I ran into was very pleasant. Friendly employees and guests. Is COVID-19 making people feel more polite? Just wondering, as I have seen a turnaround of employees and customers who are all nicer to each other. Just an observation.

The restaurant is closed down again. Not even any takeout. TA is is notoriously and ignorantly head blind to its own customers needs.A growing body of restrictive legislation makes us very much a captive clientele, often forced to hold over for several days waiting for a load or repair. And to have only fast food available for multiple meals is devastating to ones health, at a time when keeping the truckers healthy should be a primary concern.I dont want to hear excuses about how poorly you manage your restaurant so that its losing money! The other truck stop restaurants seem to be doing fine with a skeleton staff doing exclusively take out.Or why isnt a huge company like TA/Petro going to State Governors on behalf of their customers and asking for help to keep this essential service open for essential workers?TA/Petro used to be one of the best truck stops. I dont know what has happened to make it one of the worst when it comes to servicing their customers needs.And whats more I dont care.I will consciously aim for the truck stops that can still actually see their customers and service their needs.

• Doesnt take EBT.• Usually 20¢-40¢ more expensive per gallon of gas from gas stations just an exit up.• Cockroachs GALORE at night, my advice is dont look down when running in to pay. Stepping on a cockroach in flip-flops is something you dont quite forget.• Hard working cashiers, most have a smile on their face to greet you.• Manager Cathy, is friendly and fair, I can tell she is trying to clean up the place. Lets give her encouragement and wish her success!

Clean showers, parking not bad, coffee could be a little better. Its blend, all flavors taste the same. Customer service is normal except the person that takes care of the showers, he does a good job. Kios works a little better. They have all the amenities for travelers.

I love TA, but last night waiting for showers to get cleaned was it fiasco The guy cleaning the showers was just standing there I dont know what his problem was but as people were exiting the showers it was still not doing anything finally five people were waiting for their showers and the manager came over because the lady told him that he was not cleaning the showers so man when he finally started cleaning the showers the toilet Im sorry but literally had s*** stains on it the floor was not mopped nor did he take any type of spray bottle to do any cleaning I had to hurry and take my shower because I wanted to go to sleep first time Ive ever had this experience I hope its the last TA has always been great in the past

I use this truck stop almost every day for fuel and for snacks for my lunch I love the great staff working the front register and extra thanks to shellby for cleaning up my spilled coffee mess so quickly. Sorry again.

Flew to Redding to meet up with my fiancee and met him at the truck stop which isnt too far from the airport... The food was good in the restaurant... I was having a problem that morning and the waitress told me that I could go upstairs and watch TV until my fiancee met up with me...The place is very clean and had a picnic area where I met up with my fiancee and my black lab...

Fairly large parking space. Clean and stocked store. The staff is friendly and communicative. Coffee is pretty good here.

We stopped at the restaurant for breakfast. The waitress I think her name is Brenda ( she just got engaged) she is the BEST so happy and friendly. Our food was good too.

The staff here is always very nice but the inside of this location is never really clean, or at least it never looks clean at all. And there is always a line to try to pay for fuel or drinks. I have been in here probably 30 times over the years and every single time theres always a line. I dont believe its because of the amount of traffic I just think the staff is a bit slow.

The restaurant part of their station is disgusting. Ive gone there three times, and have either gotten separate times rotten meat, rotten potatos, and a hair in my food. The two fast food sides are decent. As for the station itself. The gas price is reasonable and almost everything but the milk in the station is reasonably priced.3 stars because of my service with the restaurant.

Always busy when Ive been here. Towing large horse trailer, and use diesel, have only seen diesel available on side where big rigs fuel, Def available at pump. Store large and clean with a couple of fast food restaurants located inside. (Sorry cant remember which ones.) Easy on and off northbound I-5.

Yes, this is a truck stop but its much more than that. Regular car pumps also. They are quick and efficient employees. And you dont have to leave their hungry because theres a Popeyes and a family restaurant connected . Definitely below competitive prices on their fuel

They are close to the freeway easy to get to. There is a good size truck and auto parking area. They do have a cafe Pizza Hut and a Popeyes Chicken, and it convenience store there. But the price is there pretty high. The bathrooms are clean they have showers and a truckers Lounge in the game room.

Stopped in after a long day on the road. The parking lot has tons of parking for us guys and gals driving big rigs. The staff in the restaurant were some of the nicest Ive ever had the pleasure of being around in a truck stop. The waitresses were extremely polite and always addressed you as sir or mam. They always had a smile on their face and made you feel welcome. The salad bar was more than adequate and the fries chicken I ordered was great. Definitely one of the best Country Prides Ive been to while on the road.

Its not the TA itself it was the workers for the Pizza Hut Express... Ordered a Meatlovers pizza and bread bites it was nice hot and fresh thats a plus but the pizza had black olives and purple onions on the bottom of it which made the whole pizza tastes bad... Pisses me off when the staff doesnt want to do anything about it or anything... Good thing Im not allergic like some other people are.... Screw yall you can keep your damn pizzas and bread bites bread sticks are 100% better than the bites....

It could have been a better experience... If customers could smoke in awhole other area and not near entrance. Staff was friendly... My Boyfriend and new found friend complained about bathrooms being dirty. I had a clean stall so I cant complain. We had dinner from Country pride which was very good.

Absolutely love these travel stations! Very clean, great assortment of items needed on a roadtrip and snacks/ drinks. Often showers are available which is awesome when your blowing straight through and not wanting to stop at hotels!

Alright, what more can you say about a truck stop? Obviously youre going to attract all the zombies/lot lizards in the area who start walking towards the TA at dusk to hang around and panhandle. Otherwise the store and restaurants are actually pretty decent inside.

Staff is friendly, parking is pretty good for CA. Restaurants are alright. Fuel and misc prices are decent. Just a heads up though, there has been a power outage for the past couple of days in this region (still here as of 10/30/19 0713) and so they are closed as well for now, no fuel, restaurant, and no restrooms (to the other drivers out there, they have portapotties, I repeat THEY HAVE PORTAPOTTIES, no funny business or headaches for the nice staff here, please). You can still park here for now, but keep your markers on so your truck doesnt get hit at night. I would also recommend carrying a flashlight that is on if you have to walk anywhere to keep people from hitting you (hey, you never know). Best of luck to these people.

The manager Kathy treats her employees horrible. However, the employees are typically pleasant. She wouldnt go through as many employees if she treated them like theyre people and not slaves.

This is a legacy truck stop. Its been here since dirt was invented. Its had upgrades and has a great restaurant with hearty choices. The salad bar is small but okay. No buffet! Popeyes and a Pizza Hut. Huge parking lot, repair shop.Stop by. Easy freeway access. They dont make them like this anymore.
