Horrible service, I recommend taking your vehicle to a small mom and pop shop, these people have so many dang cars they just do fast work and that’s it, went to the location three times in the 2 hour frame just to see my car sitting on letting it waiste gas, not a big problem but prob where the hrs labor goes, they couldn’t fix a simple ac problem, cut my wires short, and wanna say it’s not gonna work after paying 400$, they wanted to compare my old resistor with my new one.. had it in my car for two months. Pull up to check so can show them. Wasn’t there.ya this shop is useless and think there slick, gonna get parts from autozone and fix myself, don’t waiste your time or money with people that barely speak good english, doubt they can work on American cars.. ya I went that route 👌🏾

I don’t normally write reviews but had such a positive experience at this shop I had to share! The ac compressor on my 2015 genesis coupe went out so I purchased a replacement and started calling local shops for pricing on the labor to replace it. This shop had 50%+ lower pricing than most shops in the area so I went in and everything was perfectly fixed same day within 2-3 hours :) my ac now blows super cold just in time for the summer. The owner was very nice with answering all of my questions and even did a free inspection on my car (nothing else was wrong with it). Will definitely be coming back for any future maintenance & repairs!!

First time coming here was for a consultation & was told problem and given quote . Quoted price was honored when I came back to actually have work done . First of all I would like to say that I came to this mechanic shop because they had very good reviews. I have to say from the moment I called just to ask questions the staff was very helpful. I was very happy with the service I got and the price was really reasonable and this is coming from someone who does their own tune ups (just haven’t had a chance to do my own due to my busy schedule). Another thing I really liked was that they didn’t try dumbing me down when talking to me just case I’m a girl.

I own a 2015 GMC Terrain with a little under 200,000 miles on it. On my way to work, I had a check engine light, a stabilitrak service required and light on Along with a constant warning to turn off the engine and the oil pressure low warning. I found Rcar had amazing reviews and took it in right away. They diagnosed the problem and loaned me a vehicle since it was a lengthy job! The repair price and labor costs were the best I had found, even outside the surrounding area! They kept me up to date, informed me of when my parts were expected to arrive, and when my vehicle would be ready for pick up! They were very friendly and helpful. Juan helped me understand what had gone wrong and explained to me the repairs in detail. Because of Rcar, my vehicle is running strong and problem free! Thank you Rcar, Juan and the entire team!

I am distraught and disappointed by the service I received from RCAR. The owner Juan lied to me about me sending my car into his shop with the windows down when I called him about it. They were up because I sent the car to them with the power dead and the windows have been up while it was sitting at my house. He patronizingly insisted I sent it to them that way. The windows are now down and the car supposedly has an electrical problem that won’t allow them to go up. So, my car is in front of my house not running still, and now with the windows down. The car hasn’t had any work done with wiring and has one owner which was my mom who always took the car to Toyota for maintaining. I sent the car in for an alternator change, ending up paying extra for a serpentine belt change Juan insisted on. He insisted rotors be done too, but were done months prior. I also had to call for updates with my car I never received any from them. This was my first time with them. RCAR is conniving and deceitful I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

This has been my go to place for over 5 years. Juan is a wonderful person to work with and he always does a great job on my car. Great place and friendly staff. Rhonda was a God send when my car broke down .I was by myself and had my car towed to the shop. She helped calm me down and assure me that they could fix my car. They were so helpful I had a grinding noise and he knew just what to do! I appreciate them working hard to get me back on the road. I also needed help getting my daughter to school! Thats where were going and they were able to help me.

I still need to finish my visit with them, so far just got a consultation if you will haha regarding my vehicle. I will update when I finish up my service and repost. But all I can say is they seemed pretty friendly and they appear to be on the helping side. So that should say something for now right?

A while back my brakes weren’t working great so I took my car to some discount auto shop that told me I need all new brakes and quoted me almost $700 in repairs! They were lying about the severity of the damage in order to price gouge me, but later I went to RCAR where Juan was SO honest and told me exactly what was wrong with zero exaggeration, and even worked with my situation to get a better price. They’re very trustworthy here, and did a fantastic repair that was done within hours of the same day I brought it in. This is now my go-to repair shop!

I had a great first experience, I got in and out the shop in less than an hour and the staff was super friendly and informative while offering reasonable prices. While I was waiting for my car I was talking to other customers who had been loyal to this company for 14 years even though they had moved to a different city. This is the place I would highly recommend to anyone who needs their car fix because the people there are helpful and honest. Their prices are affordable. They get the job done and they do it right. I came here for new brake pads and they work great. I came here for a new alternator, and I have not had a problem with it ever sense. Since 2017, I have taken my car there 6 times and never had any problems with the repairs they made. They even fix my engine after a problem occur on one of my cylinders. They will do the best they can to keep the repaires affordable. I still plan on going there whenever I get big problem with my car in the future.

Those guys are amazing! Had a car for spark plugs / timing belt replacement - they did it at very reasonable price. Cant believe how smooth engine works now - it is purrs like a kitty. This actually means they not only replaced sparks and timing belt - but they did extra step and properly tuned it. Thats a first class service and I hope to work with them in future.

Had smoke coming out of the right side of my hood with my whole family in the car was freaking out a bit. Took my car to Redlands Complete Auto Repair and even though it was close to closing time they got my car all fixed. Luckily it was an easily accessible minor repair one of the hoses was leaking coolant. Everyone was very nice. Gus helped us from start to finish all for a very reasonable price. What a blessing to find RCAR &Juan! Ive been to a million mechanics & no one has ever been so honest &compassionate about what is wrong with my car. I had a bad catalytic converter &had to replace the whole thing including sensors &juan made the whole situation as stress free as possible. He was extremely friendly, went above &beyond for me, he even called me today to see how my car inspection went as well as the day before so he could check it again to make sure I felt at ease to go to the referee. We were quoted 1500$ at Spreen Honda to have our front breaks done, shocks replaced, spark plugs replaced, transmission fluid drained and replaced and brought it into Juan he was able to do it all for 600$. So nice, friendly, profession, and accommodating. Will definitely be staying away from the dealership and coming to them for all future needs.

I was refer here by Liberty towing service cause the guy told me this guy is honest, can get the job done today and is reasonably price. Unfortunately the reasonably price part isnt true. I was charged $85 for the diagnostic, which is reasonable compare to most shop around the area.However, the shop charged me $100 to adjust the ignition timing (10 minute job) and to swap a cross spark plug wire (10 seconds or less). If they had charged me $50 I could totally understand. But a $100 on top of the $85 diagnostic is ridiculous. I should have brought it to the original shop I had intended to take to. The guy quoted me $83 dollar for diagnostic and no additional charge if its just need an ignition timing adjustment (which is what it needed-and I even told the guy).I definitely dont recommend this place unless you are feeling generous with your wallet.

Jake is the most honest mechanic in Redlands.My mom purchased a Toyota Camry in 2000, and she commuted from San Bernardino to Los Angeles for the 14 years she had that car. She put 470,000 miles on that car and Jake nursed the car all the way to its end, honestly and reasonably.Anyone who claims they had a dishonest experience either had the bad luck of unrelated lingering issues surfacing after servicing, they have no idea just how complex vehicles are and can be when repairing, or may just be another internet troll/bad review specialist.

I had to call to get continual update (even though I requested for updates every couple of days). Needed one follow up for fixing of minor issue.My issue started when my car started sounding funny. Should of known then to take it into a shop for diagnostic.Three days later, on the freeway, it shut down on me with a check engine light. Coasted to a stop and the engine started back up but was wary to drive it again.The tow company was going to tow to my house but he suggested I take it to a shop he knows for diagnostic. I obliged and he took it to RCAR in Redlands (first time at RCar for me).I think auto-repair shops are a crap shoot. From my past experience, all promise big but seldom deliver on their said promise. I believe its just to get you in the door and then you are basically at their mercy. Im a DIY kind of guy and will do the basics (brake, radiators, starters, alternators, oil/tranny changes) but big issues, Ill go to the shop.In this case, diagnostic shows that my head gasket blew and oil mixed with water (although when my engine died on the freeway, there was no white smoke coming out of the tailpipe). It was attributed to a slow leaking radiator.Eventually I decided to swap out the engine for a replacement. Mines was at 155K and was told I would get an engine around 50K-75K.After two weeks, I got the car back. Drove it for about 5 miles and the check engine light came on for O2 sensor high. Also, got a leak for some clear fluid (might be oil).I took it back the next morning and then got the car back at end of day. I was wary if other issues might come up but so far, so good. Its been over a month, over 1500 miles (including one long trip without new check engine light or fluid leak).Pricing is a little high compared to other shops for engine replacement but it came with good warranty on the replacement engine @3yr/36,000 miles. Overall, I will pay for quality when I can.

When I was there about a month ago there WAS a lady working the front desk, forgot her name but she was caucasian and appeared to be in her 50s. She also was joined by what I believe is the owner and did stuff at the front desk as well.I will say, for a mechanic shop the staff/owners were polite and helpful.My experience goes as such; I moved to the mountains in June of 2012 and after the first week my crossover vehicle needed brakes as they had not been done in several years. I took my car to Redlands Complete Auto Repair and had the brakes done at a reasonable, competative price. After 8 and 1/2 months my brakes were already needing replacing. I thought perhaps there were other complications, maybe calipers because I had gotten the brakes done less than a year ago and this vehicle rarely puts more than 100 miles a week on it. So naturally since my first visit with Redlands Complete Auto Repair went well I decided to go back there to see what was wrong. As it turns out my brakes had worn down..way down! (Almost as if they were the pads that were there the first time I brought this vehicle in..just saying) The explination I got was that excessive dust and mountain driving had worn them down again. I was offered a small break on labor and had them repair the brakes. The total was over $200 more than the original brake job I had done 10 months ago! Though I am not a brake expert this experience left me feeling sour...I have never had a brake job needed within a year of a previous brake job in my 20 years of owning and driving vehicles in many different states across the country. I am just shy of declaring shennanigans as I am not an expert. I do not plan on doing buisness there any more, unless I want to feel like a chump again.

So far my experience there has been Stellar Im going back soon for an oil change in for him to fix something on my car
