Achtuning did my suspension and all my parts for stage 3 on my Focus ST. Not the typical car they work on I know, but they did a fantastic job nevertheless. Kelly is great to work with and always responds in a timely matter. I drove an hour and a half to bring my car here and I will continue to do so because they are that good.

Tuned my Golf R, installed a rear sway bar and performed routine maintenance (oil, valve cleaning, replacement water pump and thermostat). Kelly was incredibly responsive and communicative, felt in exceptional hands. I’ll be back to spend more money in the future. My car drives like a completely new machine

My experience with Achtuning was the best I’ve ever had with any shop. Recently purchased an RS5, and wanted to replace the stock exhaust and downpipes, install an RMR transmission cooler, and add spacers. Worked with Kelly, Zach, and Bill from start to finish. Every interaction with them is professional, and you just feel like these guys are a classy group. They were the only shop willing to do the trans cooler install, and it turned out perfect. There was an issue with the exhaust manufacturer that Zach managed, and after the manufacturer fell on their face a third time, I was ready to return the system. Bill stepped in to resolve it and save the sale, and in the end the exhaust was the perfect sound I was looking for. Zach stepped up yet again and worked the manufacturer to apply a discount for the problems they caused. To top it off, there was a misunderstanding at the end, but instead of communicating through email, Kelly picked up the phone and called to clear things up. To boot, it turned out I was in the wrong. Fantastic experience all around.

I needed a place to get my Jeep Rubicon custom parts installed, no luck with Mule...left messages on both FB and Phone. Luckily I had heard a ton of positives about Achtuning but didnt know they could take care of Jeep vehicles. I am so glad that I made the decision to take my Rubicon to their shop. They did extremely quality work, short notice, within the timeline and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend. I am basically driving a different vehicle now and that is an awesome thing. Ordered a set of their Hartmann wheels. Within minutes, I received an email from one of the staff confirming that I was 100% sure I wanted such an aggressive offset. After exchanging some emails and spending a little while trying to decide whether my decision was final, I received an email containing some images of a vehicle of the same model with a set of Hartmann wheels in an identical offset, along with a suggestion as to another modification that would make my car look even better.Just under a week later, I received the wheels and must say they look amazing. The fit and finish is absolutely top notch.Highly recommend buying from Hartmann/Achtuning.

My wife persuaded me to purchase a wagon to be the family car so I obliged and bought an VW Alltrack. I didnt even know that these cars existed (thanks Zach), all I knew is that I wanted a German car with AWD that I could build into a fast family car. Fast forward to now. The Alltrack stock was 170hp and its now somewhere in the 350hp range thanks to Achtuning. These guys are passionate about their work (thanks Kelly) and it shows. The owner sure knows how to pick a top notch staff.Side note: I was surprised that they do not have 5 stars so I did some research and the only 1 star review Achtuning has is from a troll. ACHTUNING IS A 5-STAR COMPANY.

I ordered an H&R sway bar set for my A4 that they said would fit my car. 1st they tell me they they don’t have the set in stock which it says they do on their website and they will send me the rear. I get the rear and I take mine off and the one they send it’s half of the diameter. I try to send it back and they want to charge a 20% restocking fee on a 245 dollar item, $44.80 to put a freaking item back in the shelf and then make me pay $42 for shipping back to them!! So I’m now out $86. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! Do not order anything from them, stick with tried and true sellers like ECS and FCP Euro with free shipping and free returns, no restock and shipping.

These guys did a great job! I bought Vogtland Coilovers from them and they removed my stock 2014 A4 suspension at 50K miles and did a great drop with matching my preferred drop on the new wheels. The experiences I have had dealing with tuner shops as well as regular auto repair do not compare to the quality that Ach offers. The staff are very informative and helpful, they take the time to answer questions and do so thoroughly. I do most work myself but if I am going to pay for something to be done, it will be by Ach every time!

Helped me over the phone on a car that was an inheritance and tuned by them. Very friendly, sympathetic, and knowledgeable. Father in law only had great things to say about this place. Trusted them enough to drive 45 mins to see them. I can see why as I have replaced battery and oil after 3 years sitting and driven it across the country 1.7k miles with no issues and lots of smiles. This little 1.8T jetta is a head turner with its speed and blow off valve noise. Love it.

After roughly 15 phone calls over the last few days to different suppliers all over Canada and the Western US, nobody stocked the part I needed except Achtuning. I called them up pretty early in the morning and they were not only professional and helpful, but understanding that I was in a bit of a rush as I have a track day in just over a week. After placing my order I had a few more questions (Mostly me being impatient), but again, they were extremely helpful and understanding. They were able to pull the order up and re-assure me that it should be at the border the next day. As promised via phone, they had the order ready for UPS pickup the same day. While Im not sure it will arrive on time due to potential border delays, the team at Achtuning did their absolute best to give it the best chance possible.They exceeded my normal expectations and did so during a pandemic. Im not sure Ill need to order anything in quite such a rush from them in the future, but Ill be sure to at least consider the option of shopping over-border just for how good the service was.

Achtuning has been doing five star work on my B8 Audi S4 for something like five years now. I originally came in for an APR tune, which wasn’t too complicated, but I was immediately impressed by the facilities and the knowledge of the guys working there. Kelly, who I believe is the service manager, takes the time to answer my ocd questions and seems honest and upfront about all pricing.I have now started doing all of my maintenance and repair work at Achtuning. I very recently replaced my clutch disk, pressure plate and flywheel, which is not a small job. They gave me a fair quote for the work (definitely better than the Audi dealer) and had my car back to me the next day. Also found a leaking rear main seal while in there and took care of that. The tech working on my car, Trevor, took the time to take apart my old clutch assembly and show me a couple things I had questions about.If you are looking for an independent shop for your Audi or Volkswagen, Achtuning is a great choice.

These guys are the best German performance garage on the east side by a mile. Kelly in particular is the most knowledgeable and attentive sales/administrator/all around gear head you could hope for... He loves Volkswagen and the golf platform the most! Theyve been taking care of my vw r32 for years and Ive never once felt like I didnt get what I paid for... If youre shopping for well derived and battle tested performance additions look no further. About the only thing they dont do is fabrication but they know everyone so you will get good referrals.

Five stars simply isnt enough for these guys, they are awesome and I will only take my 11 CC here from now on. I had an issue that the dealership created and they left me high and dry. Achtuning listened to what I had to say over the phone quoted me half as much as everyone else to fix it with superior parts. Made sure the issue was what the dealership said before even starting, they stayed in contact with me the entire time to make sure I knew what was up. They were beyond professional, helpful, affordable and to come as highly recommended as they were and be cheaper then other shops is amazing. When everything was said and done they came in right at the quote no BS about additional fees nothing like that and they made sure I was satisfied with the work and service. If you have a VW take it to these guys they know whats up and they dont mess around.

I found out about Achtuning through a friend and fellow car enthusiast. After the initial upgrade on my Audi S5, I was absolutely hooked. Kelly and his staff are knowledgeable, thorough and incredibly nice. To say that they know their stuff is an absolute understatement - these guys are car magicians, or super robots made by aliens :). This is a staff of professionals that is several cuts above everyone else.The difference maker for me, however, isnt just the performance stuff they sell for high end cars. Its the way they take care of you as a customer. Ive taken my car in for issues that had nothing to do with performance, and they diagnosed and fixed it quickly and in one instance only charging me for a part, and the second instance, after a horrible experience at a car service chain, they were able to save my oil pan and get me out with just a minor repair.If you own a German car and are fortunate enough to be nearby Achtuning, youre doing yourself a disservice if you dont pay these guys a visit. Flat-out the best in the business.

He is an encyclopedia of the Golf platform in particular and if youre a VW guy, youre wasting your time elsewhere.I dont let anyone else even touch my car. They even handle oil changes as well so theres scarcely any reason to ever do so....

Simply one of the best shops Ive ever dealt with. I went APR Stage II on my B8.5 S5 here last month. The whole process is very smooth. They were helpful and responsive through email, gave good suggestions, and the work being done is perfect, much better than the work I had done in Audi Bellevue. For example, when I replace the headlight bulb on my car a few months back, Ive noticed some missing screws on the bumper, air intake scoop and headlight, must be Audi Bellevue when they replaced the supercharger belt, I bought some screws and fixed that myself. After Ach tuning did the work on my car I popped the hood and peeked at headlight screws, and they are all in the correct place with correct part. I already regret that I bought Audi care for my cars 75K and 85K service, if I had the chance again I would skip the dealer and bring my car here instead.

Always had excellent service here. Been coming here for about 4 years. Had minor hiccups in the past but everyone has always tried to accomodate and make up for them. Labor is a little expensive though.

This is the only shop Ill take my car to in Washington. Likewise, they are the only APR dealer in Washington. I live down in Federal Way and it is worth the drive to get any job taken care of big or small.They were actually the only shop around that would replace my DSG Clutchpack. All the local shops including the dealer pointed to the mechatronics unit being at fault, despite what codes I was reading. They insisted on charging for a precise diagnosis, even though I had already pretty much diagnosed it myself. Achtun!ng was willing to do it without hesitation, and even accommodated my preference to not have them spend the extra hour replacing the DSG Fluid. (Though they did replace a liter of inevitably lost fluid). On that job in particular I saw the character of the shop as they went above and beyond and maintained a more than fair price, and the other times Ive brought it there, I received the same treatment.Theres no reason to take your car anywhere else if youre in Washington.
