I needed to find a specific auto repair place to do a repair of my 2007 Volkswagen Jetta and was recommended this place. Great customer service, able to get an appointment in a good amount of time, and great knowledge. Would go back to this place again when more work is needed or even just simple maintenance.

Excellent customer service, no fuss, very simple approach, highly recommended! Had to replace my side view mirrors with a blind spot monitor. Other places were quoting me absurd amounts for the part and labor. Cub at Werkshop looked up the part, gave a reasonable estimate, and said “it takes 2 mins to install, I won’t charge labor”. You will never hear that from any other shop (had 1 shop estimate $250 labor cost).

Had a power steering leak in my Subaru, which I wasnt sure what was caused by. Took my car here, and after making an appointment, it was promptly fixed. Will be glad to visit here more often instead of the dealership.

Called in and got a quote on the DSG Transmission service. Everything was as described over the phone. Scheduled an appointment and dropped off my car and was called whenever it was ready. They noticed the car was missing a few push tabs from when it was last serviced at the dealership and they replaced them for me!Would definitely come back for my next service / repair.

I drive a classic car and when it broke down i was worried. Another repair shop in the area said they thought it would be a $600 fix and just wanted to get me in for a diagnosis. I found this shop on various Audi forums, and it couldnt have been a better place. I called multiple service centers to get quotes for my 75K routine service, and Cub was the only one able to give me a quote on the spot. Not only that, but his ~$850 estimate was substantially lower than the $1300-$1500 Ive been hearing from other places. He was able to tell me over the phone exactly what needed to be done, and I ended up paying almost exactly what he quoted me. Above and beyond. They replaced the brakes on our Audi and the car drove much better afterwards. The oil they provided for our Audi is the best quality from Germany. We are able to see our entire service history with them, next service due and option to make appointments online. They email us the recommended services afterward and appointment reminders. But the most important benefit is the quality of service. Love it. Absolutely the best!

HeaterDuring the recent snow storms, my heater quit working in my car. Redmond Werkshop responded quickly to assist. The service was very efficient with same-day turn around time. Correspondence was professional and cordial. I enjoyed the fact that the whole experience was not a hassle and the price was far below that which the dealership was asking.

Love Redmond Werkshop. Such a great old school place. The antithesis of the big box dealers. These guys are more reasonable, fast, and have been experts in the space forever and it shows. They have fixed every Audi or VW issue Ive had for years, cheaper and better than everyone else. Bravo!

EDIT: I returned there 2 years after writing this review and was impressed that they changed most of the things I had griped about (like not mentioning the extras before doing them). The work was as good and fast as ever.A bit on the pricey side but do good work; more luxurious than economical. Tend to give your car an overall inspection after solving the main issue, things like replace bulbs, rotate tires, top off fluids, ect. Good service to have but adds a few extra bucks. Never felt like they were running a con. All repairs advised were needed, all work done was completed correctly. Always able to book an appointment with low wait times (a day or two, compared to some shops at a week+). Send out promotional discounts and service reminders via email. Friendly staff. Clean shop.

Best Audi Repair on Eastside - Terrific service for my Audi S6 They have provided exceptional service and fair pricing on numerous occasions. Most recently, my car began leaking fluid during the snow storm. I took it to Redmond Werkshop and it ended up being very minor, not requiring a repair. But they went ahead and washed and vacuumed my car anyway. What a treat!

Mr Nelson is very knowledgeable. He gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work and then did a great job of it -- no big ugly surprises. His shop is clean, neat and well lighted -- all marks of a high quality repair shop. Im happy with the overall experience and would recommend Redmond Autowerks to anyone - including family.

Excellent customer service! An honest machanic is hard to find. I went to the Werkshop for the first time 15 years ago, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Really confused as to how having a battery that went bad under warranty replaced turned into an additional 92$ charge. If Id know there was going to be an installation charge, I would have simply picked up the replacement and done it myself. Dont kwno how gouging customers is considered great customer service?

The best part about Redmond Werkshop is that I know I can trust them to give an honest answer about the problems with my car. On multiple occasions I took my 2002 Audi A4 in with what I thought was serious problem, only to be told that actually a cable was lose and that they would only charge me half and hour of labor for the fix. Awesome service.I drive a Ford now so I dont come here any more but these guys are the best. They might be more expensive than some of the other independent shops in the area but its worth it.

Took our 61 Beetle in for some love. Cub, one of the owners, took care of it all himself. It took awhile: Turns out parts for 60+ year old cars arent just laying around these days. But it starts and runs like it was new and he obviously nows this car.

Having recently moved to the area, I needed a new shop to work on my 2006 A6. Theyre right down the street from my office, so I gave them a try and think Ive found my shop on the first try.Easy to communicate with via phone, in person, and online (my preference). Quick, accurate quotes/estimates and no bait and switch, pushy must get this done kind of tactics which I have found come pretty easy for mechanics in our Audi/VW world.Cub and team are professional, fair and obviously service focused as was evident this last time when I got a courtesy ride to my office while they worked on my car. This is a perk that I was used to from the large stealership service centers, but not a local, small business.My next service is due soon and will be more laborious, so Ill update again if need be, but I would (and will) recommend this business to my German driving friends and family.

I brought the car in for a window problem late wednesday afternoon and was told it would be done by close of business the next day. So Im figuring on 6pm Thursday. They called me at 0830 AM! on Thursday to tell me my car was done! Great service!

Fixed the problem, communicated clearlyThe ignition lock on my VW Rabbit seized up; Redmond Werkshop fixed the problem quickly and for a reasonable price. They explained beforehand what they would do, how long it would take and the cost. They lived up to their word in every way. I will be bringing my Rabbit back here the next time it needs service.

Cub is awesome. He is attentive, fair and honest. Hes also willing to work with you on providing your own parts. In my case, I own a German car (GTI) and he seems to know Volkswagens really well. You could do a lot worse if youre in the area for your repair/maintenance needs. And whatever you do by all means, run from Zahntech across the alley. Dont walk but run from Zahntech right to Redmond Werkshop!

Originally we brought our 1997 A4 here for a look over and valve stem seals as it was smoking after idling a long time.I got a quote over the phone after talking with Cub and decided to bring the car in. I expressed how I wanted to have the car looked over as I didnt want to be out the money doing valve stem seals if there were any other major issues.Got the car back after paying the bill and the car drove horribly. No boost and still smoked. Took the car back and this time I was told the turbo must be done and that Redmond Werkshop would help me out on the price if I decided I ever wanted it to be done.Took the car over to Achtuning to have them take a look. They called back and said the timing was not set correctly from when the cams were taken off to do the valve stem seals. They called Redmond Autowerks and Cub said they would take the car back and take a look. Redmond Autowerks wasnt able to find any issues and gave the car back to Achtuning.Achtuning found that Redmond Werkshop had installed the cam gear backwards and it had sheared the keyway off due to this mistake. Achtuning replaced the gear and re-timed the engine and everything is running great again, minus the fact it still smokes.Got a refund for the cost of Achtuning fixing their mistake but I dont have any confidence in the work that was performed on the car. When getting the refund I asked how I could trust the other work was done correctly when the easiest part of the work was done wrong. I got a response of I dont know.If this wasnt enough of a turn off, looking back on the invoice they even charge you to fill your washer fluid and do other small charges to up the bill (replace bolts/nuts, charge for hose clamps that they replaced (even though the hose clamps were new as I had replaced them) without hesitation.

These guys are the only people I trust to work on my 92 GTI, everything is always done right the first time.

Was able to squeeze me in on a Monday and did a full service check and replacement of numerous things and replaced CV joint and vacuumed out the interior. Thanks guys!

I took my 850 Turbo to this shop to have the oil trap/ crankcase ventilation system replaced and cleaned out. Price was a bit high, but not outrageous (labor was about $110/hr). Staff was very friendly, very competent. They respected that I do a lot of my own work on the car, and they were willing to tell me what else needed to be done on my car so I could do it myself. My car was there for a full day, and was not ready when I came to pick it up. I only had to wait about 15 minutes, but still annoying. Id rate them a 5 if they were a bit better at sticking to their estimated prices and if they had had my car ready when I came to get it.

I found this business to be professional, courteous, efficient and timely. Owner seemed to possess good knowledge about subaru. They quickly determined cause of noise I had heard and no pressure to schedule a repair appointment. The only thing that I would have liked to see and didn’t was mask on the person who waited on me.
