This grocery store is actually an incredibly impressive experience. Huge variety in a very very small grocery store footprint. Basically everything one could want, not crowded easy to see and find items, prices seemed very reasonable if not sometimes a little cheaper. I felt just a little bit awkward getting the process started, and also just what do I do when I leave. However there was a super friendly person there who got me in and out. :-)

Amazon Go Grocery provides a very unique shopping experience. Upon entering the store, you need to launch the Amazon Shopping app on your phone, and scan a barcode tied to your Amazon account. Once you done that, just grab items from the shelf and go, no need for check out. This is probably its biggest advantage during COVID-19 pandemic, since there is minimal social contact. The pricing is also very attractive, I would say most of the items has a lower price compared to Safeway and QFC.There are also a few downside:- the limited selections in each shopping category, because of the relatively small shopping space.- because you dont get a receipt right away, you dont really know what you just bought, the price for each item, and whats the total. If there is a pricing error, it would take a long time for you to figure it out, or more likely, never find out. I first shopping trip consists of 5 item purchases, and they mis-identified one item. Fortunately that item also has the same price. If not, I would have to drove back to the store to dispute the charges, which would be a big hassle.

Always clean, workers are always friendly, and always well stocked in most departments. Took off a star because the hit grab and go has been empty/closed the last several (5?) Very neat! They have Amazon One palm screening so now you hover your palm over a scanner instead of hovering your phone code over the scanner. I liked it a lot. So easy. I also like that they have the amazon store style price stickers that are each tiny digital screens, so I know the price could change any second. The produce section was really popular while I was there. It was a little hard to navigate the one way aisles AND keep my distance from others. I did like that in the OTC drug area there was a generic brand of benadryl in addition to regular benadryl. Its cheaper and I dont need the brand name for that. Overall, clean, nice staff, organized, easy, all good things to say.

Very convenient and easy way to get groceries fast. A smaller store but it has a lot of what you need quickly. The only downside is that the groceries we get there end up being rotten or have mold on them even though the expiration says it should be good for weeks. We have gotten bell peppers that have mold in them, bread that has mold on it and cheese that has just been opened being ridden with mold. The refund is fast and easy but a waste of food and time if you require the food right away.

When I first saw the store pop up, I assumed that the convenience factor of having no checkout would make the prices astronomically high- but in reality, theyre similar to Fred Meyer or Target. The selection is fairly limited since the store is small, but youre able to find most regular things with no issue, as well as a few organic options. The store was able to detect what I took with no issue, with no additional items nor any missing ones. The store was very clean and constantly being restocked so the shelves were full. The only thing that would make this store better is if it was open 24/7- since they dont need to have a ton of staff on hand anyway, it would make sense. The prices in general are pretty good. They have great quality local selections like Beechers and Elenos with cheaper prices than I have generally seen elsewhere. The Amazon made products have all been great quality and well priced, either matching or exceeding the quality of their name brand counterparts. The charged me $0.05 for the bag that used to be free. I have a cloth bag I bought in a previous visit but was driving my other car, but the paper bag worked well. Its a pretty good store. The store brand stuff is very well priced and they have some other name brand things that are super cheap (such as 12 packs of soda). Some other things like their to-go meals are a bit pricey though. Im not sure how well those things do either since I dont feel like they work well in this location. It seems like those meals would be more of a good target for a lot of people need a quick lunch and to run back, but theres not many of those around here that are within walking distance. So if youre OK to drive to grab a meal and go back for lunch, you might find something you like.Id also say this is a good store if you only need a few small things, are a single person or just a couple. If youre looking to stock up for a family youre probably better off going to Fred Meyer across the street as the prices on most things arent THAT much better.Ill likely drop in here every now and then for some specific things I need/am low on, but if I need a full on grocery run, Ill probably just grab everything at Fred Meyer.

+ The tech feels like magic. You walk in and take whatever you want and put it in your cart or a bag. Amazon got everything I bought right, its pretty spectacular. The fact that they can accurately measure how many garlic cloves and tomatoes I grabbed off the shelf is astounding. When I walked out, grabbed my bags and walked back to my car, I got this rush when I realized how much time I saved from not standing in line to check out. This is the future and it feels awesome.+ For a high tech concept store that probably costs buckets of money to invent and build, you could have expected the prices to be outrageous. But no! Amazon Go Grocery prices are super competitive. It feels on par or lower cost than a Trader Joes or QFC.+/- This is a medium sized store and the selection is focused on getting the basics. If youre the type of shopper who loves roaming a Whole Foods or Trader Joes for unique differentiated foods, this is not it. I look forward to this tech being applied to larger store formats (Amazon, bring it to whole foods!)+/- Bagging as you go in your shopping cart is mostly good. The big upside is you save a lot of time compared to bagging everything at the end. On the other hand you cant bag as effectively because youre not browsing the aisles based on the optimal bagging sequence. When you pick up eggs, you have to consciously not bag them so you dont end up putting stuff on top. Takes a bit of foresight to not crush your eggs and vegetables but I think itll be easy for people to adjust. Amazon has a station at the end where you can finalize your bagging.- It took 45 minutes for the receipt to be generated. I walked out the store and legit had no idea how much I spent, what credit card was charged, or if the store had correctly rung me up. What if something had been wrong? Why does it take 45 minutes to send a receipt when what Im buying is being tracked in real time? Even though Amazons amazing tech got the receipt right, that felt disconcerting. If amazon can fix this, Ill bump my review to 5 stars.

What a great experience! Zero hassle, low stress, normal if not cheaper process, and weve been back twice. Is a small version of a full support market, and I got one cant wait for the full size version.

Works as advertised. A little too crowded for the Covid times. They have some good pricing on select items. Hint : check the ice cream section

The store is effecient, pretty simple to navigate and has most of the basic essentials. Please be aware, their pricing on product is very volatile. 1 gal Milk went from $2.09 to $3.28. Banana went from $1.29 to 19Β’. Some whiskey were also sold at scalper prices.

Its a good little convenience store for simple grocery shopping. Or if you need to quickly grab something for breakfast or lunch. And you dont need to wait in line to checkout! Great job Amazon!

Interesting concept and very clean. Prices asked to be the same as other grocery stores around the area, or slightly higher.
