I Was having issues finding someone to service my Volvo. I decided to try Jiffy Lube. When I arrived here I was treated with VIP treatment, even though Ive never been here before. The service was friendly, efficient, detailed, & best of all my car is running smooth. I really appreciate the detailed explanation provided when I needed to do some extra care and there was no pressure. I didnt wait long either. Love this place! Ill be back. Let me start off with I am impressed with everyone at this location especially the girl that is working at this location I came in for a oil change everyone was ready to bring my car in for an oil change. Service was done VERY efficiently. I wanted my oil changed and they offered to also flush my power steering, rotate my tires, and clean my headlights. I brought my car in more because I thought my CV joint might be going out/busted, but they checked it and told me to wait and see if the power steering flush would clear up the thunking noise. They seem very honest to me, and the main customer-facing worker is very people friendly. The location is also very good for needing to wait there as there is a coffee shop and Burger King within walking distance. Many places are close by, really.

My oil change & smog check experience was great from start to finish. Oscar helped me and he was very professional and polite. I could tell he was smiling under his mask. Other employees were helpful as well. I highly recommend!

It was exceptionally quick and professional!In the past I have had time consuming unprofessional service here but this time I was so impressed! I was in and out of there! They did an oil change and a coolant flush super quick, it was accurately quoted and I was not oversold on other products or services. What a great time! Seems like a great crew of people working here.

They didnt put the oil cap back on my wifes truck, they dont seem to care. So oil blowing out on truck making a mess getting on the breaks and when done all over my driveway. Dont worry I will do it from know on.

I had my oil changed and tires rotated was quoted a 40 min wait time and waited over an hour. Left the line place ran some errands and headed home. A few hours after I got home I walked back out to my vehicle to find many oil spots on my driveway. My husband opened the hood and the oil fill cap was left off. Now I am left with an engine compartment that is splattered with oil that is dripping all over the place. I called that evening and left a message with what has happened and no one called me back. Tried calling a few times the next day and no one ever answers. Left another message and still no call back! I am left with the expense of cleaning the engine compartment and my driveway.

I definitely recommend this location Ive been coming here for years. I chose to stay in my vehicle and a wonderful young lady was working on my vehicle while I was in there I didnt get her name but the service was great. She mention about a free top off policy I didnt knew about. Shorty and his crew keeps getting better !!!

I arrived at Jiffy Lube for an oil/filter change. During my visit staff pulled me aside and showed me my filter “holder”. It had been broken/shredded from previous oil changes and could not be secured. They procured a new one, said it would be an hour wait. Ended up being a little over two hours. Staff filled me in, but it would have saved a lot of time to send one of the employees waiting to go get the part. Better time management would have been great. Jiffy lube did discount the service for me and payed for the part. Overall staff professional.

Too pricey for my liking. Had oil change, cabin filter change and air filter changed and total cost was $254! I’m better off going to the dealership with prices like that.

(In response to the comment below on how Jiffy Lube on Patriot could improve)My mother and I came here to get my car smogged. We always use this location for smog and registration because they are fast and it is convenient for us. This time however, there were tons of guys standing out front blasting loud music & hanging out with some of the employees who work there.I felt super uncomfortable for my mother who was there with me. I’m 34, I am all for having fun and I get it, but hanging out like that while your company is open to the public? Even the guy helping us felt uncomfortable when the bass was so loud that it was shaking the building.I’m sure the owner doesn’t appreciate his or her business being ran that way. I hope next time we come in for work on our vehicles or smog/registration we have a better experience.

Good for keeping it to less than an hour. Staff was polite, and cleaned out my fancy air filter rather than trying to sell me a new one. Be aware, Jiffy lube staff still have to upsell everyone. And how they do it these days? By taking each customer out to their vehicle to show them what needs service - rather than the old days where they brow beat you in the sitting area. Will use again, and staff was very good. Minus one star for the upsell- not the staffs fault.

Communication should have been laid out

While its a quick option for an oil change when youre in a hurry, they charge an excessive amount for a simple oil change. They also try to bill for things they didnt do.

Very helpful staff. I walked in and was greeted right away. Asked about the wait for an oil change and tire rotation because I had kids in the car. They said there was no wait. We ate lunch and the car was done before we finished. Workers here seemed to have their act together and was actively working. Best jiffy lube Ive ever been to.

I been a jiffy lube customer for years since 2007 Jenny was not even old enough to work yet it was difficult for me to track Jenny down since I was being taking care off by Jenny from north hills then the shop at Clear Acre. I will continue to follow her I dont understand why she still has not been given a store yet but I will say she is one amazing employee. I hope the company is taking care of its hard to find good employees like her.

Took my car in to fix a leak in the tire(small piece of metal that was not in the sidewall) and an oil change. They convinced me to do a rear differential flush and said that they would throw in the tire repair for free. When it was time to pay they said they couldn’t do the tire repair! Classic bait and switch.Long story short, I took my car to Les Schwab right down the street and they actually fixed my tire for free!Definitely will not be giving jiffy lube my business again

Inexperienced staff for basic work.To elaborate, we decided to go with this shop for a synthetic oil change on our Ram 3500 diesel because they confirmed they would be able to change our fuel filters at the same time. After waiting over an hour, they decided they no longer felt comfortable performing the filter change (we approached them to ask how it was going, they did not come to us to tell us the change in plans). Huge inconvenience as we were traveling through Reno on a tight schedule with kids and dog.

For tyre alignment, balance and rotation for a Subaru outback I had to pay 220$. I think that this is far too overpriced. I will never go there again.

They upsold me on unnecessary things that are easy to do, and they charge way too much. Fortunately I said no when they said brakes needed changing for $1,400. Got home and mechanic said there was nothing wrong with the brakes. Too bad because I’m loyal if people are honest-I’ll never go back.

I had my oil changed my fuel system flushed out along with my power steering fluid! My toddlers and I walked over to burger king had lunch and it wasn’t very long we walked back over and my car was done that quick! Everyone was extremely polite and courteous. Definitely one of my best experiences anywhere. Thanks guys!!

The service was performed quickly. However, after I got home, I noticed that a bunch of oil had gotten on the rear of my car, presumably when they were filling it back up (the engine is in the rear).

It was a very long wait. Extremely slow. Anything but jiffy. The next day I heard a weird noise while driving. It appears they neglected to tighten or replace multiple bolts on the underneath panel which needs to be removed to drain old oil. Everyone was very friendly, but not a great experience.

Always use this store for smog checks on our four cars. Outstanding job

Jiffy Lube Mechanics Shop 55 East Patriot Blvd in RenoI have used Jiffy Lube drive in lubrication shops here in Reno / Sparks for over 20 years and received at least 4 star service. There have been a few minor problems, but overall the customer service has been good and I recommend them.The Jiffy Lube mechanical repair shop on 55 East Patriot Blvd in Reno ( across from In and Out Burger ) though was recently a disaster. Without rehashing all the details I will say I will never use the repair shop again. They had my truck for 4 days and never contacted me with an estimate and never did any work. I called them 4 times and made 3 personal appearances and never received any information on cost or timeframe. No one there seemed to have any information at any time even though I had worked with the Service Manager when I first took the truck in for repairs.Finally after 4 days I was presented with an Estimate that only had half of the requested repairs listed. The parts and labor estimates were in the stratosphere. Example - a fuel filter was $79.99 ( O’Reilly’s Auto Parts retail price about $16.00 ) and labor of $45.00.I contacted the corporate office in Utah with my complaint, they referred me back to the General Manager at the Reno location. The conversation was the standard corporate speak response, meaning it amounted to nothing.So, my advice - use their drive in lube services if you want, they’re OK, but be aware of upselling. Stay away from the repair services at this location.

My experience was good with Jiffy Lube I was able to change transmission fluid in my truck and also get my smog done In my other car very attentive good service

Had an oil change, front and rear differential lubricated, radiator flush and it came to just under $400. Pricey l thought but good service.

When leaving part of the outer foam was not put back but closed up in the hood. Brake fluid drained and replaced

Went and got my oil changed. My check engine light came on the next day. Took it back and they wanted to charge me 110 to just tell me what they did wrong. Dont use this place they are a scam

I usually go this location oil change. this afternoon went there for an oil change and there were 3 vehicles in 3 bays and 2 outside. I was told to wait behind the 2nd bay. Bay 1 and 3 were done and serviced next 2 vehicles and they became available both. I was waiting to get in to one of them after all but associates guided two cars that had come after me. I stepped out and said it was my turn and the associate said that they are not oil change and short service. I dont care whatever service they might had. I had waited enough and was not treated fairly. I turn around and decided not to get service there, neither in future. I will find another shop but this is horrible customer service.

Came for a smog check, and it was ok, but the computer froze when reporting my info to the DMV. Was told to come back the next day. The guy working the next day was very grumpy, and they could not find my information in their system. Now I have to go to the DMV!!! UGH

I wish I could get s decent price without needing a coupon.This is a quick way to get an oil change. When you have a coupon, it is worth the price, to avoid the hassle of doing it yourself.I wish I trusted them though. If I pay for premium oil, what do they give me? More than a year ago, they told me I needed a battery. I went to Batteries+ to confirm. It tested fine. Still havent changed it.

Fast service but pricy

Had a smog check on my lunch hour was in and out quickly.

Less than 300 miles the front brakes locked up on the interstate highway. I had to be towed in.The wheels were putting off smoke. Not happy.

I’ve never had to get out of my car for an oil change. Would be more efficient and less people in the lobby if we could stay in our cars.

The receipt showed they “washed my windows” but they did not do that. I was pleased with speediness of the oil change & their professionalism though.

I stumbled into this Jiffy Lube when I needed an oil change. This was my second visit. Service is prompt and courteous. In the time of covid, I was able to stay in my car during the service. They have asked me for a coupon each time and when I didnt have one they still applied a discount. Ill happily be back.

I don’t do these reviews, but I was really happy with my experience at Jiffy Lube on S. Virginia. Very fast, but more importantly was how friendly the staff was. Definitely going back there for future service.

Oscar and the guys changes the oil, oil & cabin filter. They also checked the lights, tires & coolant levels. They kept me informed along the way. Then they drove my car to the smog check. The car passed smog inspection. When it came time to pay, Oscar found me a discount! Yay! I was in and out in 30 minutes! BTW. While i waited, JL provided WiFi for customers! Yay! Excellent professional & personable service from start to finish! I’ll be back & have already recommended Jiffy Lube to some pals.

As usual, the crew at the Patriot/so. Virginia st location took great care of my vehicle. I was in and out in a timely manner, treated very fair and respectively and paid an extremely reasonable price. Had a great experience at Jiffy Lube on E. Patriot, with an oil change and smog test. The staff were very professional, courteous, and helpful. They all observed proper distancing and most wore a face mask when they needed to approach the car for a conversation. My son and I sat in the car while vehicle was serviced!

The work was done quickly and correctly. They greeted me when I drove up. Guided me to the waiting area. They were even more friendly when I brought the second car in that day having recognized me from an hour earlier. They honored my coupons easily. They even had the NFL playoff games on the TV. Good experience as usual.

Service was great. Jiffy lube inspected the brakes and told me front brakes were good, but back brakes needed replacing. Once I gave the go ahead, they had them completed in a little over an hour. They did a good job, and they are reasonably priced.

$45 for an air filter I can buy for $15 and install in 5 minutes? I take some of the blame for not asking for the price, but I just assumed there would be a reasonable mark up, so maybe $20? Otherwise, they did a good job.
