I went today and really enjoyed it. The worker was friendly to me and I could tell he really knew a lot about vinyl and a variety of music. I looked around and saw around 5 or 6 records I want but I didnt buy anything because Im focusing on finding a specific Lana del Rey Album. The selection was well organized and had a wide variety. I also appreciate the stores covid precautions. I plan on going back next time Im in the area.

Discology is a fantastic record store, one of my go-to spots whenever I visit Reno. The selection is small, but carefully selected. I have found some great rare vinyl here over the years. Its worth it just to go in and talk to David, the owner. I have spent hours just hanging out and talking with him about music and film. Buy records from David, seriously. You will be supporting an awesome independent business.

Great place to buy records or CDs! The owner David was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and we had a great conversation for a couple of hours. Its a tiny place, but very well stocked with stuff that you actually want to buy. Cant wait to go back!

Love this place. I havent been recently, but whenever I go I always catch myself in conversations with the owner about music, which shows he is passionate. Always a great selection, and the store is small (which I like) so everything is centered and close together, very easy to find records.

The owner, David, was knowledgeable, welcoming, friendly, and helpful. He obviously loves records. Small but well curated shop. He and I discussed the merits of the record I purchased and I learned many things I didnt know about it. Ill be back every time Im in town. If all shops were like this, the world would be a better place.

I had an unbelievable experience with David Calkins! He brokered a 7 inch vinyl for me from the Netherlands. There were only 2 in Europe that we could find. Not only did he get the person on E-Bay Netherlands to sell it, he also requested it be sent overnight so I could have this rare vinyl for our Christmas party!! He went above and beyond to make this happen! Thank you David, Love, Love your store!!!

Small record shop next to Riverside Theater. Mostly new records but they maintain a collection of used. They also sell CDs, DVDs and seem to have a big scifi section. Check it out next time your hanging at the river

Good selection, somewhat subjective selection from the owner. Great spot to peruse, but can get crowed quickly due to the lack of space. Always a great find in the bins if you look. CDs are a overpriced for standard fair that I doubt most would be over $5 for. Not many rare pieces that I recall. Checking out can be tedious and is usually a 5-10 minute process, depending if Dave gets sidetracked on phone or with friend. Not sure how the run Record Store Day, because last I was there I was advised they were sold out of everything--even though they had boxes of RSD vinyl in the back. Last resort if I can find a piece at Recycled or Grassroots. This is obviously a subjective review and things may have changed in the past few years, but I dont have the time to waste.
