I only go to 2 auto repair shops and this is one of them! The employees are so awesome, knowledgeable, helpful and they have such a positive attitude. Went there to get some things to get my car fixed and inspections and I had no issues! The prices are very reasonable no complaining! I really recommend!!!! 😊

I had an idea if what my car needed and dropped it off for diagnostics. They confirmed what it was and gave me prices and option for what they could do. I felt no pressure to do more than was needed. I called another shop I had used in the past as well just to compare prices. The other place was over $400 dollars more for the exact same work. I have had similar experiences with McCormak in the past but thought I would just double check to be sure. I wont even bother next time. I will just go to McCormacks and save the time of calling around. They are also always super nice and take time to explain things. Their waiting area is clean and they are always professional while being friendly and polite. I wont go anywhere else.

It was my first time going to this shop and I was not disappointed with the quality of service. The service was great and I will definitely be back. The work done was a water pump for a 1995 Ford Truck and I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff, mechanics, and owner. Thank you for a great experience gentleman!!!! Hands down the fastest Ive ever been in and out of any repair shop. I had a slow leak in my tire, pulled in, they had it fixed before I had time to sit down and check my email. And, friendly to boot!

I am so thankful for this business! Out of three auto shops, they are the only ones that put forth the effort to completely fix my van. My van died 3 months ago, they had it 2 weeks and now its running. They diagnosed it, estimated a plan of action and fixed it. They are very polite and attentive, they are our auto shop from now on.

I thought I knew what I was doing, and put in a pretty good effort to get my old truck to start. Coil, Wires, Plugs, Cap, Rotor...and still no luck on my end. Got it towed here this morning, the got me squeezed in and had me called back in the afternoon. Expected it to be outrageous, and it was less than $120. Great work! Fantastic guys! Very professional!

Yes, you can find an honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced mechanic here in Republic MO. David and his crew are amazing in their knowledge of mechanics for a variety of vehicles across the board. I’ve been astounded how many times I’ve heard him tell someone that some expensive repair isn’t really what’s needed but a fix that costs much less does the job exceptionally well. Their work is guaranteed and they’ve worked well with my warranty company on some of the work I’ve had them do but their pricing is so reasonable that I’ve never felt overwhelmed when given a quote. They just finished working on my Cadillac and they did a great job. Power steering was out but it wasnt just the obvious fix. They got into it and got it working great. And they did it for less than I had budgeted for the job.

I have had my car here a half a dozen times now, so I feel I can write an honest review on them. They will not jerk you around with unnecessary repairs. Their prices are very reasonable and they do what they say they will do and when they say they will do it. I have always felt completely comfortable with everything they were going to do before they did it. They made sure I understood what I was getting and did not ever talk down to me, which happens far too often to women at a mechanics. Every one of them has been super friendly, as well. It may take a few extra days to get into them because they are busy, but I will gladly wait on them!

McCormack has been the best mechanic shop I have ever used. They found an extended warranty for me on my vehicle that saved me over $3,000. I only had certain days off to get it worked on and they squezzed me into their schedule & the day I needed to pick it up I didnt have a ride, so the owner personally drove my vehicle to my house. Not too many places that will go out of the way to help you.

After having my car initially looked at by another mechanic in Springfield I decided to get a second opinion. The mechanic in Springfield told me it was going to cost $970 to have my brake booster repaired. My brother in law recommended that I have David look at it and I am so glad I did! I paid about 1/3 of the cost this other guy was planning to charge and the service was much better. It felt good to drop my car off with a mechanic that is honest and trustworthy. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Here’s a novel idea... a honest mechanic that treats people right.I have four used vehicles and these guys will be the only mechanics I will let touch them.If you have a vehicle, you need a mechanic. These guys are top notch.Just take your car in here, you’ll never go anywhere else.

If you live in Republic and take your car anywhere else, think again. Repairs are done as requested. They don’t try to up sell on repairs not needed. Everything they do is explained and all costs are quoted and warranties on labor and parts. If it does not seem right, go back and they will make it right. If you need repairs, oil change, inspection, this is the only place in town to take your vehicle. 10 stars out of 5!

After taking our vehicle to Toyota and getting a rather long list of items they Suggested/Required I gave David a call about our scenario. He was extremely helpful and gave us a run down of what was needed and also things that werent and the dealership was just upselling. He completed the work we needed done in a lot less time than I was thinking and also for a smaller price. Im definitely glad we found them and will be taking our vehicle here from now on.

Dave was quick to get my truck in to work on and gave me a very competitive bid on the work to be preformed. This is a family owned business and he treats you like family. Dave will treat you fair and you will like the work he does. I highly recommend you take all your car care needs to Dave.

Feel like I cant recommend highly enough!! It was actually Yocum who sent me to David (so big ack to them too!) to work on our 1947 Studebaker truck. He got various issues resolved from a subtle leak in the master cylinder to electric drain and fora reasonable price too! Even ended up buying a car from him too!
