Very nice person. Great service.
These guys know their stuff and make sure its done right! Would suggest to anyone looking for a trustworthy shop that does great work!
My vehicle was brought here for impounds. It got brought in on a friday night. I showed up on Saturday morning to get it oit to find out they are closed on the weekends. Come monday they said I had to pay $300 to get my car!! They shouldnt be allowed to charge for the days they arent open!! They seriously take advantage of people!!! They are thieves!
I went in for a car inspection and they were very professional and friendly. I would definitely take my cars there in the future and also recommend them to my friends.
Got in and out quickly. They took care of me and made sure I didnt have to stay longer with a 5 month old fussing. They are friendly people!
Took my hot rod in for some minor wiring problem. Then I asked about raising the front. They ended up putting rubber bushings in between the coil springs. I didnt even make it home & they broke & fell out. In there defense I did not take it back or say anything because I knew it would cost a small fortune to put all new springs in. I can do it myself...
I originally called a different towing company and asked if they had a truck available and they said yes. 10 minutes later the driver calls me and says itll be 20 minutes (I could have walked to there establishment in 10 minutes). So I canceled that and called Villars. He got here in 5 minutes and was nice enough to cut me a deal. I HIGHLY recommend Villars.
The gentlemen here saved our trip yesterday! We had a full horse trailer and we were in a hurry and they were fair and gave exceptional customer service. I would give them a 10 if I could.
I was stranded with my family on I-44 starting a long trip home the day before Christmas Eve when my 2007 Odyssey started misfiring severely. Through the help of several kind people I was eventually referred to Dan Villars and was able to limp it to his shop. Despite being closed on Saturday and on a Holiday weekend as well, he did a very thorough analysis of the problem, explained very clearly what the issues were, and got us back on the road that afternoon for a very fair price. We could not have been treated better; Dan was really the Man to go to for us. Thanks so much!
Great owner, always does me right all of my previous and current vehicles I take here when its something I can not do. Straight forward and honest with you, fair pricing. Stays very busy though.
As a new resident of Republic, MO, I had an unexpected mechanical problem with my Ford Escape which I decided to take to Dan Villars shop instead of the Ford dealer, hoping to get the same quality expertise and also save on repair costs. As it turned out, it was a serious and complicated electronic issue but Dan was tenacious and knowledgeable. He took the time to diagnose and fix the problem which included sensitive electronic and computer repairs. He did the job right and, yes, he also saved me money! I am thankful to have found a top notch mechanic I can trust and recommend.
Once again great service. If you want to support a great family owned local business Villars Automotive & Towing is who you should use. I was referred by long time local and Im very happy they sent me in the right direction!
Towed my vehicle. Very few choices in Republic Mo. I was grossly overcharged for a short distance tow. Call someone from Springfield, you will still save money, and certainly receive better services. The owner was smug, and arrogant. Should be named Villains Towing!
They were quick and friendly and affordably priced! Ill be going back for any future car issues.
Mr. Villar is a good man he is a very helpful gentleman he helped me when I can find no one else will help me
I gave them a call this morning to come unlock my truck. I never do that but they was there quickly and service on a Sunday..Thank you again Villars Towing.
We were returning home to Kansas after a vacation near Branson, Mo. Our truck broke down outside of Republic and my husband used our GPS to walk to a auto parts store. Luckily, he walked by Villars enroute. He explained to them the issue. They sent a tow truck to pick up our vehicle and started working on it right away. In less than two hours after getting parts, installing and test driving they had us back on the road. They did not over charge us even though we were vulnerable to being gouged being so far from home. Great shop, highly recommend them!!
This review is dated as this happened last Feb (2017) but I still think about the excellent service I received here. My blazer was having all sorts of issues on a trip back to IL from OK on a Saturday. I limped it to Hoods truck stop right off I-44 hoping they could help. The very nice truck stop owner put me in contact with Villars automotive and he towed me and my uhaul trailer to his shop. The grade A mechanic and Mr Villar and I worked for hours trying to diagnose the issue. We finally took our best guesses at it late at night but the mechanic wasnt 100% feeling right about the fix but the vehicle showed no signs of the problem again. He gave me his phone number and I told him I would go the 12 miles to Springfield, MO and stay the night. Well to make a long story short I had issues. I called the mechanic to see what he would suggest and offered to come out to my hotel on Sunday morning to try to fix it. We got it narrowed down to one sensor and I followed him to an Orileys and we put it on in the lot. I made it the rest of the way home without an issue! A week later the fuel pump died but thats another story haha. So there are good people left in the world that will take care of their fellow man in need!
Made me pay cash for my service, which was inconvenient, as I had to go to an ATM machine. And pay exorbitant fees to use my money.
THE BEST AUTO TECH!!! HANDS DOWN
Called and dude sounded like a jerk!
Biggest hijacking ever! Late night tow, 8 blocks and storage for 9 hrs...... 180 bucks! Needless to say Ill steer everyone I know clear of this unruly company
