I never do this, but I just gotta say that I have had more amazing service in the past few months from the employees here than I have at this Walmart or any other, especially with the employees that work in around the self check out area. For instance, I just got out of the store and the employee directing customers to open registers was talking with every. single. customer. He was up beat and polite, and you could tell he had genuine interest in every customer. The line was kinda long, so I saw him talk with and joking with several different customers before me. By the time I was at the front of the line, I was almost excited to talk with him myself. I wish I had gotten his name so I could mention it. But good job, dude! Though Ive had many similar experiences in the past few months, youre the reason Im writing this!

The renovations made to the checkout aisle have been very helpful for students but may pose some challenge for others. The employees are usually helpful and during the last student buying craze they managed to restock astonishingly fast. The only reason I dropped a star is because some produce I purchased there was expired before the listed use by date, which I found disappointing. Otherwise, it is cheaper than some other local stores, sells a wider variety, and is usually a decent place to shop.

I never thought Id give a Walmart 5 stars, but since adding so much more self-checkout capacity I havent waited in a line for more than 2 minutes there. The pharmacy is also fast and friendly. First time Ive been recognized by a pharmacist!

One of the largest walmarts Ive been in, Great vision center, optamatrist.

Its really like any other Walmart out there. No complaints on service or anything. This one has a great selection of items and is definitely the go-to store in Rexburg. College students flood it full though at the beginning of Fall.

This Walmart lives up to Sam Walton standards. The floors were so shiny I could see my reflection. Well stocked and side counters well face and zoned, ready for customers. Rest room impeccable. Customer service#1. Cleanest,best Walmart I have been to in years. Oh yeah I visited on a Saturday.🙂

Overcrowded, under stocked, long lines. And the pharmacy FORGET About it Go through the drive through. Except for Sunday morning. Definitely time for another Walmart in Rexburg Idaho!

Walmart is.......well...... Walmart. Most Ive ever been to are poorly stocked.... especially in the food side. Unfortunately....in some cases they are just unavoidable. Sign of the times when the most prominent store in America is poorly stocked with American made stuff (food) but pretty well stocked with everything from China. Yall better start brushing up on Chinese. The slow persistent takeover continues....aided by our largest corporations....like Walmart.

This Walmart is always busy and always has low stalk on items. Not Walmarts fault, Rexburg needs a Super Target or another Walmart.

Easy to find this store,easy access with ample parking.. nicely stocked and clean store with helpful personal.. I will definitely go there again.

This Walmart is usually a fairly clean one, and usually is fairly well stocked with popular things. Prices are always really good & their clearance section is always worth looking through!

Great Walmart, however often out of stock towards the beginning of the BYUI school semesters. Gets very busy mid day as well best to go during the morning or at night.

Did a pickup there abd had to wait 50 min. For my order. Guy shows up and he gets his order in 5min. I ask what is going on and told system crashed. I said then you should figure out who is waiting the longest by going to each car. Usually get my order within 10 min. These are students and seem very lost on how to get things done.

If you drive truck dont depend on great value water jugs. 1200 miles and this is the messed I had when I stopped. 1/2 gallon of water all over a $400 mattress.

Walmart is Walmart. They usually have a wide selection and pricing is mostly comparable. Every once in a while they have something that costs way too much for what it is but most of the time its pretty good.

Lines went back to the end of the store. Only 2 live checkers. It was mass lines of bodies. Shopers were not wearing masks let alone staying safe distances from each other. The store should consider for safety reasons on how many people in the store. Very disappointed.

I found what I needed, but the place was packed. All the back-to-school shoppers must have arrived at the same time I did. Still they got people quickly through the lines and out the doors.

This WalMart is to small for the area that it covers. It is not bad, it is just never stocked with everything that they offer. Part of thats because they have such a high turnover rate employees (it is a college town). Overall it is overcrowded and understocked.

We waldocked here. It was a good experience! This Walmart has a bunch of grocery items that we dont have back home, and it seems to have a very robust delivery system. For sure very fun to poke around in.

Helpful employees when I couldnt find what I was looking for. In and out in a timely fashion.

It was a good experience. Except that the employees need to learn where their products that they sell are and maybe where they are located in the store. But overall I would rate the store a 5 star. Other than I would prefer to shop when they dont put everything In the isles so you cant get through.

Store pick up is the worst! Would prefer medicine man and mule to finding parking and hunting down an associate.

This is a very nice location nice employees however I do not like to be forced to use self-checkout and that is pretty much all they offer since the remodel. If you look at the employees faces that have to endure standing there hovering over people watching them it is very sad you can tell they are not happy its got to be the most boring job in the entire world please bring back the regular registers.

Except for the roadworks next to Walmart that kept us for 45min to get out, its still a great store.

Really disappointed with the playing card game selection. I have gone 4 times in the past 2 weeks for pokemon cards and they have been completely dry of them. Zero pokemon cards. Im not sure if its just because its a popular item or what but its ridiculous that walmart is 1 of 2 stores and they dont have any. Walmart is the best selection of pokemon cards in town, so keep up with it.

Idaho does not have lots of Walmart but this branch is so enough for two or three small cities. We bought everything on our way to Montana for three night camping. Also, it was great because it was the first time I filled my tank in Walmart gas station. Totally I like it.

Pretty much your average Walmart. They do leave a lot of pallets in the middle of the floor, which doesnt seem safe. But everyone who works there is nice.

Employees are always willing to help. Plus, the place is huge and truly has the best deals and anything you could ever want. Its only flaw is how far away it is from town.

I really appreciate all of you who work at Walmart. Especially Geoffrey who, today, went out of his way to search the back caverns for 6 cases of Jarritos for me. Best experience we have had at Walmart in a long time! It wasnt crazy busy and everyone was polite to each other.

Found things easily, prices are good, a little understaffed, but overall.it was very good.

Its just your standard walmart. Staff are friendly, but overworked. Other customers are rude. Food selection isnt great and prices arent compelling. At least its close to a Harbor Freight.

Always a frustrating experience coming to this Rexburg Walmart. I’d rather spend more money and go to Broulims than shop here. They are always out of stock and a majority of the employees have a bad attitude.

Walmart always has everything I need. They are also getting more healthy options. They have lots of parking and even though somtimes they are busy they have lots of checkout lines.

This is one huge Walmart for Rexburg. Its usually clean and well stocked. That being said, theres not usually anything special about a trip here, but its also consistently not a bad experience.

Huge store for a small town in Idaho. That Walmart is cleanest and well organized I have been to. Very neat.

They have converted most of their checkstands to automated self checkout lanes. They are also in the middle of a major redesign of the layout. Can be a bit hard to find things but I would recommend getting the app.

Rexburg Walmart is the worst one Ive visited. There were tons of people. They were stocking on every isle. It was impossible to even get to some items because they had giant pallets in the middle of every isle. They only had 2 regular check stands so you have to wait in line for a self check out. We waited 30 minutes to check out. Next time Ill go to Idaho Falls

Called over 20 times and they never picked up phone. Terrible customer service.

They have done away with cashiers and checkout lines. It is 100% self checkout. Do they realize how hard those are with a cart full of groceries? Or when shopping with little kids? Or for the elderly? Or for people who English or Spanish is not the language they speak (the two options in the kiosk)? It was so cramped and chaotic. There were only a couple employees there to help when things were going wrong for people. I saw elderly individuals not be able to use the machines, wait without getting helped, and just leave without getting their groceries. Expanding self checkout is fine, but to make it the only option is a Horrible idea. Theft will go up, and business will go down if they dont fix this problem. Such a frustrating experience.

They just put in a ton of self checkouts, so there are way more registers and checking out goes way faster now.

Store is good, Shuttle is off schedule sometimes

This is the most unorganized way of doing things. Self checkout is not faster. If I have to do the job of a checker then I want my employee discount. Ive noticed you have jacked the prices on many items. One of the reasons I have shopped there in the past is because of the lower prices. I wont be shopping there anymore. Several other people have made complaints about this, all of this and have decided to shop other places as well, for everything. Walmart used to be a great place to shop.

We stopped here on a road trip & found all we needed & more even gas for the RV.

This Walmart is nicer, cleaner, and more efficient than a lot of other Walmarts I have been to.The literal only reason its 4 stars is because it isnt 24 hours, and it wasnt 24 hours before Covid. Its just a bummer that it closes early and opens late, even when there is no Covid.

We love everyone here! We have been bringing our puppy here since she was 6wks old and she is now 7 mos old and everyone loves her as much as we do and she loves them the same

Beware!!!! I have purchased 3 electronic items from Walmart in store and noticed they were used items all scratched up and finger prints everywhere. They are trying to sell used returned items at full price as new. Items were a tv, a surge protector, and a wireless router all items were used and had had parts missing as well.

Long lines with cashiers standing around doing nothing. Tried to check out at customer service because they had no line and standing around as well. They wouldnt help either.

Powerful products at this Walmart! I bought all my paint gear here and found some cool Buddha water fountain as well that I know my friend would like, I didn’t buy it for him, but I sent her a picture in case he was interested! I also met a really nice sales associate here the other day, wish I knew her name! But she was super helpful of them have been so great to me thank you Walmart of Rexburg

Too many of the staple products and sizes we cleared off the shelves, eg: quart milk, bread, Clamato juice regular flavor, etc. This happens weekly, I think better management would make a big difference in our shopping experiece.

Normally an excellent Walmart but recently has been substandard. Usually a little low stocked due to high traffic. Self check out since the remodeling has been a struggle with constant confusion. One of the checkout employees, Allison, physically stopped my cart and pushed it away to conform with her arbitrary organization of the self-checkout aisles. Very unprofessional, and frustrating.

Location was clean and well stocked. Associates were very pleasant and helpful.

This is a review for Prospective Job Seekers Looking to Work at Walmart in Rexburg Idaho. (My experience trying to get a job here over the course of 3 years)The first time I applied online and waited, and waited, and never received a call or email nor did my application status change. It simply expired and then I resubmitted with no response again.Second time I applied to work at Walmart I applied online, waited a week for the application to be in the consideration phase online. Never changed. Went in to talk to all the right people. Was told to wait until the application was approved online. 3.5 months later when Im well into another job and my application for Walmart was expired, I get a call offering a position.The third time I submitted an application online, went in early morning with a friend who worked there, again found the person in charge of hiring, and asked about open positions. They said they werent hiring. 9 days later I find my friend working and asked about new position openings, he said he just saw 6 new hires being shown around the store that morning.Ive passed the assessment tests for the application, applied for dozens of current and future openings, and tried pretty hard to get a job at Walmart. Id simply say dont waste your time with it. Id rather get a quick No than wait weeks and months pretending theyll consider me for a job.Other than my requests for employment, Its a grocery store and has most all that you need. Other than that management has been very unprofessional and rather worthless in how it handles employment.

The shelves are stocked and everything went smooth even though it was busy. The self checkout only takes plastic no cash.

Ashlyn was a HUGE help! I asked another employee about water softener and he didnt know and Ashlyn didnt know at first BUT she immediately took action to figure it out quickly! Shes awesome and helped me scan my groceries. We definitely need more employees like her! :)

This review is specifically for Misty that works there. Misty is the MVP. My husband and I had an emergency item we needed really late at night which the website showed in stock but the shelf was empty. Misty dug threw boxes determined to find the item and found it for us! It would’ve been really easy to just tell us they didn’t have it, but she was so kind and helpful and literally perfect.

Walmart has most everything a student will need on a regular basis. They also have wonderful online shopping and pickup options that help with efficiency and busy schedules. They also have affordable prices.
