I was completely disenchanted with AutoZone‘s ability to provide service yesterday. I had been needing to get new bulbs for my headlights and turn signals. I did a quick search online which ended up on AutoZone‘s website. They have started offering order online and pick up in store like many other businesses. This is my first time using AutoZone‘s pick up service. It should be as simple as, see if the part is available in stock place the order and pick it up. When I arrived at the store two bulbs were missing from the order, and the salesman was completely unsure whether they were just missed or back ordered. After realizing there was none in stock, his only comment was they must’ve been ordered. He did not see anything on the computer that told him definitely they were ordered, I have no idea when I will receive them. I stated that does not help me today, so we proceeded to pick out bulbs that were in stock. He then informed me I could not modify the order and cancel the back ordered items. I would have to pay the additional almost $50 for the bulbs that were in stock, then when the back ordered bulbs arrive I would have to go back into the store and return them. This is absolutely ridiculous, this is not service, this is not how you keep customers coming back. This was not convenient, this was a hassle. Had I known the bulbs I wanted were not in stock, at least getting an email stating only part of my order was ready and giving me the option to make a change I might have felt a little better about the whole situation. Something that should’ve been a quick transaction has left me feeling frustrated, and I do not plan to do any further business with AutoZone.

I have been able to find more unusual parts at AutoZone than the other national chains. I realize that my experiences may have been unique, but its worth checking.

Quick to find my part and friendly guys when I came through.

Staff was friendly but ordered air filter yesterday and was told it would be there in afternoon. Went by next day and was told the hub didnt have it. No call wasted time and trip.

Thought I needed a new battery. Man with sun tattoo on his hand (wish I got a name) tested my battery and alternator, gave me some very helpful information on the battery. Didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. Went above and beyond and saved me some time and money. Much appreciated. Thank you sir. 🙏

There is an older guy that works down there great personality very helpful and knows his stuff. The staff makes you feel welcome in the store. Unlike other places Ive been where the general feeling is your bothering them. Online orders were shipped fast to the store. Usually a day or two for the part. Great selection of parts even for older cars. Shopping there has been a great experience.

Out of stock on freon. Service was sloooow. Put my part back and left. Pricing was high on most things off the shelf. Need to buy solvents, or waxes, or oil, go to Walmart.

They did not have and could not get some car Necessities I needed.

A long overdue thanks to AutoZone Richland on George Washington Way near Safeway. I just wrote an review for Reborn Bike Shop, and I remembered similar kind help I got from Mr. King the Manager of Richland AutoZone. I was treated like a king. He helped to make sure I got the the right windshield wipers, he took the time examine my old (out of date) wipers. I appreciate more knowing my wipers worked in the recent weather. I am a frequent shopper at this location and each time I have received great help. This is the 2nd review I have written but should be the first because I was helped by Mr. King before the big SNOW!

This place is awesome the people who work there or are great they figured out 5 minutes what OReillys couldnt figure out in over an hour

Decent AutoZone, seems to be short on stock, probably because of the pandemic. Will check back with them for a 2nd chance.

They were so nice. I went to get a light bulb and turned out I needed a new house for the bulb and one of the gentleman came out to the parking lot and helped me change the housing wiring and the bulb!! Amazing customer service

Just moved to the area. I have always used Auto zone for my truck and motorcycle needs. I will not be doing that anymore. If your staff was rude to me, I can let go of that and educate as needed. However, you chose to be rude to my Mother. That is not science, acceptable or good business practice. If your staff is that insecure, that they need to make customers emotional punching bags so they can feel better about their lack of proper work ethic and customer service....Id highly recommend you take some time to evaluate that business isnt good for anyone right now and OReillys business just got better.

Came into Auto Zone today looking for 3M adhesive, they did not care it, but the manager recommended Turtle Wax Label & Sticker remover. VERY HAPPY....I was removing the old door auto shades...and the glue & rubber build up where over the top gooey mess, tryed Goo Goon and it made my windows a real mess car wash could not remove, applied turtle Label remover right to window removed it right away....

Autozone workers are knowledgeable and they dont laugh when you arent.

I went in there today to (buy) a light for my car . When I asked the guy about the part he was super rude and kept cutting me off . I usually go to Orhileys but I desided to take my buisness to auto zone . I left autozone with no info and rude help . Ill never go to that store again .

The people are knowledgeable and helpful but there doesnt seem to be enough of them especially after 6. Today I went to the store mid-afternoon and had to wait 25 minutes just to get a container of oil emptied

Helpful service in my experience. Dont have any complaints about rudeness or otherwise. Sometimes the wait to talk to someone is a little long, because they can get busy and there are usually only a few people there at a time, but Ive never had to wait more than a few minutes.Theyll also check your codes if youre getting a check engine light, so thats a plus.

They dont know their head from a hole in the ground brought my clutch master cylinder into the store the worker proceeded to argue that they had the right part. To satisfy them I got it.... it blew out getting dot3 fluid all over my floorboard. If they actually knew basics of stuff I would go back but its not worth it... I went back in they proceeded to tell me I needed the more expensive one when I went from the autozone near Sharis all the way to the pasco one then they tried to sell me the wrong part again.... all in all Ive not seen 1 knowledgeable employee their they barely know how to search part numbers let alone physically match parts up... done with autozone for sure this isnt the first time. Guess online is the way to go.

Worst customer service EVER! I purchased a can of GMC Perfect match paint for my car. (I have touched up many cars with spray paint and never had a problem) Followed the instructions and the paint came out very diluted and ran streaks down my car that I cannot fix. Took the can back and explained the person expecting a refund or exchange and was told they would not take the can of paint back, but they could sell me more paint!!!Horrible customer service over a $8.00 can of paint that was defective and ruined my car!

Purchased an $80 O2 sensor from these guys, Master Tech in Richland verified it was faulty and AutoZone wouldnt return the device. Apparently they only offer replacements (not returns) on electrical items. I called the Kennewick store, and they said theyd return it... Obviously theres no corporate policy on this, or is there?
