Our family has a large fleet of vehicles with many farm trucks etc. We have been using Cronks for 15+ years. Excellent service at Cronk!! first time taking vehicle there, I sought them out based on so many positive reviews in Yelp and Google. Having had my rig serviced there, I am compelled to share my experience. They dont advertise, or have a website, and advise they dont need to. Word of mouth from satisfied clients, like myself, keeps them plenty busy with repeat customers. Cronk was professional, straight-forward, and they did not let me down. They addressed two issues which were neglected, and possibly caused by another prominent auto repair shop (also in Richland, on Lee Blvd). They listened to me describing the issues with the inop fuel guage, squeaking power steering pump, and oil leak, then diagnosed the cause of the issues, gave me prompt and reasonable feedback, and performed requested repairs in a very timely fashion. All problems I had them look at were solved, as requested, and I could hardly be happier. Ive never had such a positive auto repair experience as I had at Cronk, and will definitely be returning for future auto repair needs.

After moving to Richland from Utah, I needed to find a mechanic to take care of my vehicle for me, as I can no longer do my own maintenance. Not knowing anyone to ask for referrals, I turned to Yelp online for recommendations. Cronk was highly rated, so I made an appointment for a simple fix to see how they were. I have to say, I have never been more impressed with an auto shop. Right off the bat, I saw that they truly care about their customers vehicles, and they have a very high standard of integrity and customer service.I trust them completely. And that is not something that comes easy for me; because as a woman, I had been ripped off numerous times when it came to vehicle maintenance and repairs. That is, until I got smart and learned the basics of automotive technology and started doing my own simple repairs and maintenance. After that, I could tell when a shop was trying to scam me, so I would go elsewhere. The sad thing was that most of the time, those same places had been recommended to me by someone I knew.Cronk Automotive is honest, fair, highly knowledgeable, and consistently excellent. Not once, have I had to return with the same problem. They provide expert service and NEVER over-charge. In fact, there have been occasions when they didnt charge me for a service that any other place wouldve most definitely tacked on an extra charge for.I am very impressed with Cronks, and with every single one of the mechanics working there. They have an excellent crew, and the best work ethic Ive seen in a very long time. They have earned my loyalty and respect, and all of my business, for as long as Ill be staying in Washington! I work on my own vehicles both as a hobby, and to save money. But I when it comes to bigger jobs, I dont have the tools, or a large enough garage to do them in a timely manner, so I go to Cronk. I have been to Cronk twice for clutch jobs on two different trucks, and I am pleased with their service. Even though the first time, they were so busy that I had to be scheduled 2 weeks out, they got them done quickly, and had me back on the road in a day.I will say that I am a bit of an OCD clean freak, and they left some traces of greasy fingerprints in my interior that bothered me enough to clean. On my second truck, they didnt put the inner shift boot over the shift knob, which I noticed immediately due to the increased road noise. The clutch also needed extra adjustment afterwards, as it was overextending, but thats also not a big deal.All in all, the price is right, and they get the job done.

They have always been wonderful to me, eplain things very clearly and are very friendly. My only wish is that they were open 6 days a week. It seems like things always break down on the weekend for me. Lol

I only put one star because you cant put zero. I could not believe the rude and inconsiderate manor these professionals act like. I took my vehicle to their shop about two months ago to get my tranny worked on and two days after I got it back the reverse went out. I took my vehicle back in today to get it fixed because I was unable to bring it in sooner. The staff told me it wasnt their fault and that they didnt unplug my ignition Interlock. The guy(bill bob or Tom) seemed highly agitated and was raising his voice at me. Is it because I am young and he thinks he can treat me like that? Well he cant and as soon as I get my car back, that will be the last time they work on it. Is rather not be insulted and yelled at. They should be ashamed.
