The food is expensive, I ordered a mini mixed Berry crepe and there was so much cream cheese in it and hardly any berries. The mimosas are $9 and you get it in a tiny glass. If youre gonna get a mimosa, get the bottomless because youll need 3 to equal one normal sized mimosa. The coffee is good and the staff is friendly.
In town for work and most cafes with food were closed until 11am. I rolled in here at 8 ordered a mocha and All American Crepe. So damn good. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. One thing I didnt expect was how filling the crepe would be, I might try the mini size next time, I dont like eating until it hurts though. If you want that much food go to olive garden.
Awesome place. The drinks are refreshing. I shared the Strawberry lemonade crepe with a friend. It was so good! A delightful place to meet up with a friend. I will definitely be back.
I love this place! It has amazing customer service and friendly staff! The crepes are delicious and they have a variety of beverage options! Definitely 100% recommend this local business to everyone!
Good food, good coffee, lovely little place.
Very impressed! My savory egg crepe was tender and delicious. The filling was evenly distributed and didn’t all fall out. I got my hollandaise sauce on the side and didn’t even need it because the crepe was so perfectly cooked— not dry at all! On top of all that the staff were very friendly and the service was fantastic.
I like the non-traditional drinks they have here. The baristas mixed three kinds of menu items to concoct a sort of raspberry dragon iced tea for me. It was delicious. I didnt try any of the food, though. But the atmosphere was gold. Great place to read or have an ad hoc meeting!
Anybody can eat here! I love that they even have delicious vegan and gluten free crepes, and have almond milk, and really great coffee! Just...AWESOMENESS!
Great food and best coffee, the crapes are wonderful. My wife and I arrived just before they closed, yet they stayed after to fix our orders. One of our best places to eat in The Tri Cities.
Has an awesome atmosphere, its really nice inside and outside and you can tell the owners care about the place. The food was really yummy and they have a wide variety of crepes and drinks. Definitely recommend.
I got the Nutella crepe, and it was AMAZING. The small size was actually big, and the large size is pretty large (I saw them making one)
My first time and I was impressed. I had the turkey and bacon crepe. Yum! Attractive, flavorful and the cook was very polite. I will be back.
I love their crepes either for breakfast or dessert. Always delicious! Their coffee is good too. Great customer service.
Great Crepes! I got the breakfast in bed and it was terrific. Good cold brew as well!
The absolute best place!!!!! They make a lovely traditional cappuccino. The crepes are always delicious. And Hot Mess Baking treats in the pastry case are pretty tasty too. If they have butterbeer cookies, try one. They are amazing. They are always having fun events and have games to play while you sip coffee and enjoy time with those you love. Definite go. Its a hidden treasure.
One of the best places I’ve been to❤️staff is supper nice and food is heavenly 🤤
My first time in the door (Hawthorne Street) Front counter employee (dude with beard) was maskless and pretty belligerent about it. Looks like a place that cares little for the customer.
I would give zero stars if the option was available. Save yourself some money go to Costco and microwave yourself some deli lunch meat slices and sprinkle cheese in a big tortilla and a scoop of jam for monte cristo, that’s exactly what is looks like and tasted. Smeared pb and a few chunks of banana for the other one . 37$ meal served on a paper plate with plastic cutlery. Absolutely terrible crepe . My iced coffee was not cold, no explanation on that . Absolutely appalled that this place . I took two bites and walked away .
The mixed berry crepe is amazing. Love the atmosphere too.
Yum. Not into sweet crepes but love the rest.
Their mixed berry crepe is amazing and along with the lavender and white drink makes a wonderful breakfast
Overpriced, disposable dinnerware, no condiments, and the food inside the crepes was not fresh and/or processed. My pico de gallo was easily a couple days old and mostly soggy tomato. Much like cafeteria food or what my partner likened to MREs from her service days. Coffee was just okay. There’s a lot of room for improvement at this restaurant. Staff was friendly and it was clean.
Great food good coffee went for first time its a great clean place.
Crepe ( pnut butter and bananas) was great,,it is spendy bit only complaint I have is,, wish they were bigger,, its gone to quickly lol
Great place to sit down and meet with friends for coffee and crepes. There is no other place like it in the TriCities. Fantastic food!
Crepes are DELICIOUS. Just dont expect them to be an entire meal; would also recommend that you show up earlier in the day so as their monthly menu ingredients are still available.
Very good breakfast crepes!
Wonderful coffee and crepes. Friendly people
The savory crepes are pretty good but not sure if theyre worth the price. I DO NOT recommend the apple pie crepe of the month. Its was DRY as all thats in it is cooked apples and graham crackers. Disappointing.
My wife liked her ham, spinach, and cheddar. I have tried it twice now, and although it was well cooked, I have not been impressed or wanted to come back either time.
The crepes are excellent and so are the Lavender lattes!
Absolutely the freshest ingredients. Had the egg, ham, cheese and spinach. The latte was pretty darn good too!
Vegan & gluten free crepes 👍Hard to eat with tiny cheap forks
One of my favorite places. Crepes are always delicious and coffees are amazing.
Great creeps. Nice atmosphere and the pickup orders are on time.
Whether you want sweet or savory there is something for everyone, even gluten free and vegan options. Fresh and yummy! I good place to meet friends for brunch!
Just went here for the first time and it was delicious! Everyone was super nice and everything was super clean. The crepes are delicious and I would definitely recommend The Egg with the Chipotle ranch sauce!
Good coffee in a historic mall
I am in town from DC for work and was searching for a good breakfast. I made the correct choice. Been here two days in a row. I especially loved the Monte Cristo. If offers a mix of Sweet and Savory. Also, loved the Peanut Butter (and banana) crepe. Very nice spot in an area with lots of chain restaurants! Extremely friendly owner and general manager who remembered my name on my second visit.
Delicious and super friendly!
I love how each time I’ve stopped by this place they have different for their crepes. They all sound delicious and the one I end up picking comes out great!
Loved it! My wife and I kept talking about going here and finally did. The coffee is really good and the price was excellent. The crepes where really good and well. Good coffee, good food, and good costumer service. Definitely going back!
Super friendly staff with a nice menu! Bed in breakfast crepe was delicious!
The place was very clean, all staff were gloved and masked and i was in and out in about 3 minutes as i paid online. the crepes were way more filling then i expected and soooo yummy. will definitely be back
Always great drinks and crepes! Friendly staff!
Liked their vegan crepe option, as well as dairy free milks!
Awesome atmosphere! Yummy food!
Recommended by a friend and it was worth the stop. Friendly service and really excellent drink.
You Cannot Beat the Atmosphere Whether your Alone or with a Group you will Feel Relaxed and Blend In. I Love their Crepes and Coffee. The Crepes are Made After You Order, It Doesnt Get Any Fresher than that, Besides Its Fun Watching them Being Made! Im Rating 4 Stars because 6:00 PM is Too Early to Close. Crepes and Coffee are Good For Dinner and Late Snacks Too!
Very nice staff, great job with COVID regulation! The crepes are 👌🏻!
Kagen is a great man and friend. He employs people and pays them well with a hit towards his own paycheck. I support this business but I support mostly its owner. This is a quaint coffee shop setting with great, inventive crepes and decent coffee. Great location and board games and options. Support him.
Limited menu means all the ingredients are fresh; constant rotation of the menu means the experience is also fresh. Great place to take the family - savory or sweet, it’s a treat.
Are you serious?? This place is amazing! If I could eat there everyday, I would. The only downfall is they close really early. But everything I have ordered there has been super great.
Had their Christmas in Hawaii crepe. Incredible!
I visit monthly, from the other side of the mountain (Everett), and was looking for a sit down coffee shop, with great coffee, friendly service, & hopefully a local favorite. I found ALL of this at Kagen Coffee & Crepe! I had found Rockabilly Roasters on my last visit & was excited to see that their coffee was being served...Im a huge fan of supporting local businesses. Coffee was, of course, great & I shared a chocolate - raspberry crepe with my (86yr) Dad. Amazingly yummy! Wont be sharing next visit. Im a fairly social person & loved the range of ages, of other patrons, as well as the friendly staff! I look forward to my next visit, with my Dad...at Kagen Coffee & Crepes!
Love love love their food! The staff is fantastic and very friendly. Fist time there we where there close to closing they stayed open so we could enjoy their food and visited with us and told my family the awesome history of this sweet little company. I have turned my friends and family into this place and encouraged you do try them out. You wont regret it!! They also make the crepes right there in front of you. Pretty awesome!
One of the best Americano coffees ive had in a while. And the crepes are pretty good as well! The staff are incredibly nice and swift with service. Would recommend!
Some of the best cold brew in Tri. Service is fast and employees are extremely friendly.
We all ate every bite!
Awesome food and best coffee!
The first time i went in was better than my last visit. It seemed like the sandwich was like the ones i make at home. I will go back!
Excellent crepes and coffee
Warm and friendly experience. Great food and amazing employees and owner. I recommend this place to any and everyone. I will surely be back
This is a very cool classic style coffee shop. Sits right on a corner at uptown with visibility to the sidewalk and road. Enjoyed a dessert crepe and a cup of coffee.
Fun environment and really good food. Great place to go and relax for a bit. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
This is a great breakfast place! I highly suggest the hollandaise sauce.
Great coffee. Great food. Great pastries. Great atmosphere. AND great people. If youre wondering, Hey should I go to this Kagen place? The answer is yes. Its great.
Great coffee, good crepes, excellent service! Wifi, clean bathrooms etc.
I tried the chicken & pesto crepe. It was amazing besides the chicken. Something about the chicken was off it could have just been frozen chicken that got cooked weird. But other than that I really enjoyed it especially since it had so much sauce, yum! Next time will try the smoked pumpkin latte I hear it’s super good!! Definitely a cool place for the Tri-cities!
The crepes are amazing and they serve the BEST Americano in town...hands down! On top of the food being great, the staff are friendly and welcoming! Honestly, this is my go to place!
I love the atmosphere of thos place! You can go and study, go and visit with friends. They have great coffee and yummy crepes. Theyre coffees have double the shots for half the price of Starbucks. The 12 oz. Have 2 shots, and the 16 oz have 4. Love this place!
Just off work and was looking for a light breakfast spot. Coffees and Crepes is totally accurate. Im not a crepe fan so I didnt eat here. Nothing else food wise on the menu except a couple cookies and scones. But the specialty crepes they have did look delicious. And the coffee was amazing good. My husband had the smoked pumpkin latte. I will definitely be back for coffee. Only a suggestion maybe offer a fruit and yogurt plate and/ or oatmeal as an alternative for those that dont like crepes. My husband would have enjoyed a crepe but wouldnt eat without me. 😊
Such good crepes! I like that if I dont want anything on the menu i can ask if they can add powder sugar on to my or something else! Super friendly staff and nice places to sit. Even though it can be a bit slow its still worth the wait! I love this place!!!
Very unique place to get breakfast or lunch! Crepes are my favorite and I never knew there were so many ways to prepare them!
This is a great place for a very satisfying meal, coffee and energy drinks! It can be used for social reasons, including some chest or checkers or other board games! All things are homemade, and very heartwarming! I recommend!!!
The crepes were really good, my expresso was a little sweeter than I like it. The food quality and people were good. Id say the price is a little high. Does have a nice atmosphere kind of a place to gather with your friends. Very informal
When was the last time any restaurant surprised you? Wow! This was a totally great surprise. Honey and pears crepes were out of this world! Special of the month. I’ll be back for the coffee too!
Popped in to grab a quick bite and coffee to go. Was surprised when it came to over $20 for one crepe and coffee. Good but has formal sit down prices for coffee stand food and feel.
We only had the coffee this time, which was great. The people went out of their way to be extra kind to our son! We will be back to have more coffee and try the crepes too.
Fabulous. I always get two. One main course and one dessert. Plus my lavender mocha. ☕🥞
Very cozy atmosphere from the dark, light bulb bedazzled, ceiling down to the dark wood tables with built-in chess/checkers boards with drawers full of pieces to play said games. The Chicken with honey mustard sauce is a decent tasting dish.
OMG CREPES. I didnt know crepes could be so diverse until this establishment came into my life. The atmosphere is awesome. Its a fun, cool, hip hangout. There are board games to entertain and cool music to chill out. On top of the yummy crepes, they also have delicious coffee!!! Dont overlook this gem, pop in and give it a try.
The best crepes and coffee I have ever had! My significant other and i come here weekly, on our days off. Every employee is very welcoming and kind that work there. They have games around so you and your friends/family can enjoy each others company, and have fun. Such a great place to hang out! I would highly recommend it to anyone, and Id recommend the Lemon and Sugar crepe! Its to die for.
I ordered a lemon crepe. It wasnt what I expected....it was so sour. It was listed under the sweet crepes, but it had no sweetness. I think they literally squeezed a lemon on it.
Delicious savory crepes and fantastic coffee. This place is quickly becoming a standout place to relax, enjoy the atmosphere, and get some great food. The menu is rather small, but its all stuff they get right, every time, and thats something to be appreciated.
The food is great and the atmosphere is lovely. The coffee is wonderful. They have seating inside and outside. You can also play chess and piano if you so desire.
I used to love Kagans, got my family gift cards there, met up with friends there. But no more.Kagans has decided to ignore the ban on indoor dining, along with many local restaurants. Their business has outdoor dining and sells products that can easily be consumed to-go and outdoors, but they felt the need to have indoor dining open last Saturday and packed wall to wall with unmasked people. Customers getting up and down without masks, employees just turned a blind eye to the whole mess.I understand the local health district has decided to just drop the ball on inspections and compliance with the indoor dining ban, but that doesnt mean we cant boycott places like this that are putting our communities public health at risk during the middle of a pandemic.
