One of the best grocery store. Best quality! All the items are Fresh and good quality. My favorite is fresh live blue grab and fishes.

Oh lord, that marked is clean and tidy, a real international market. Products are fresh and of good quality, best papayas ever, only minus could be the prices are a bit inflated, but is it worth it.Highly recommend.

Pretty competitive prices on produce and certain non perishables, but some of the aisles are mislabled. Which leads one to believe the fish cakes are with the dumplings when theyre really in their own section by the fish (honestly a more logical place, but Im only looking at signs in a hurry). Overall really great place to get what international groceries you need.

New Grand Mart is a really cool international grocery store (Asian, Korean, Latin American, Indian) with tons of fresh produce that you wont find in a typical American grocery store. Prices are also pretty low for high quality produce. If you are looking for any special recipe items from the aforementioned areas, try here.

This was our first time in this store. And OMG I could shop there all day. Their fresh sea food and produce was amazing. It was clean, organized and everyone was so nice! Definitely a favorite.

The store smell fishy but thats because its so fresh you see them swimming. There is such a variety of items for different cultures.

Amazing. Their selection of seafood far surpasses any seafood market around. In addition, there are so many options available for you to choose from. You can practically get lost in that store by just browsing. Went in for seafood and left with a huge array of vegetables to cook alongside my main entrée. Highly recommended for food and household items.

I generally go here for chicken and fish, thoughit has a good variety of Sea food. Live lobsters, crabs, fishes and what not. It has a big Veg/Fruits section as well along with a big Chinese/Thai sauces section.

Pool quality shrimps, most veggies were in bad shape. The staff at fish stand does not understand English and fish section is all empty at 11:00 o’clock. The worse ever seen.

I love the variety of different foods you can find there. Like any grocery store some prices are good and some arent. It has a large fresh fish department.

Crazy awesome deals on a lot of things that are either over-priced at chain grocery stores or impossible to find! For example, tofu is $1.79 at Kroger for a single 14 oz block. At New Grand, you can get a BUCKET full of tofu for $7.99, about 10 blocks. And dont even get me started on the seaweed price at chain grocers. This grocery store has something for everyone, its even fun to just go and browse their interesting selection! I have taken girls on dates here, thats how fun it is.

One of my favorite grocery stores! Leagues better than the midlothian turnpike location with more selection, better smell, and generally cleaner. Resturant here is fantastic. There is a fish smell thats somewhat unavoidable, which is worse some days than others, but overall this place is great for finding ingredients for those special Asian or Latin recipes!

Best place to find all kinds of international ingredients, live/fresh/frozen seafood, meats at great prices. Store is very clean and organized with friendly staff willing to help.

I went there today and the cashier put my glass and can food in the same bag. Glass product and can products should not be in the same bag unless youre going to wrap the can product whats the glass product to keep it from sticking together which could break in. Also do I need to give people more than one little plastic bag your bicycle a strong enough most of the time the little holes in them that turn into bigger holes. Stop being cheap and use common sense.

Much better than the Midlothian store, better selection, clean, never smells like ammonia and fish, always has well running non-leaky coolers and freezers. But this one too i see multiple employees working without masks. I want to shop here more but that disregard for their customers and each other really kills the impulse.

Spacious store with a lot of fresh produce, veggies, seafood, meat. Yet still lacking a lot of essential supplies for cooking Vietnamese food.

It’s good place to shop asian food. But I hope they could pay more attention to check each item if they have gone bad. Bought this wonton noodles from this store and didn’t realized that it got mold until I got home and about to cook. Also many of the items doesn’t have expiration date.

In store restaurant is very good and reasonably priced. Nothing close to what you would expect from a grocery store.Grocery item selection is also above and beyond. The basics might be priced a bit above average but the store more than makes up for it elsewhere.Edited to include photo.

Love this place. Seems a lot cleaner than Tan A, which is much closer to home. They have a great selection of fresh, difficult-to-source produce, fresh fish and all manner of shelf stable foods you might need. You can get steamers, woks, chopsticks and they even carry soft liquors; soju, sake, umeshu. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Such an excellent place to go for Asian cuisine. Also their products for cooking Asian cuisine there is a tremendous amount. The customer service is very friendly. I truly recommend this place if youre looking to prepare some Asian style meals or if you want to go enjoy an Asian style meal in their restaurant

This place is great they have tons of really good Asian products which have allowed me to enjoy cooking things that I would otherwise have to improvise or wait for shipping on.

Found out recently that this is a HMart chain grocery store and that made me even happier to make a review. If you need some good produce and fresh fish, this is your place. I can also find Inari here, which has always been difficult to come by in this area. They have a small kitchen that serves up hot foods but have not tried it yet. Their snacks area could be better but that just gives me a reason to patron at the Tokyo Market in Carytown or Tan-A. Always some tasty snacks at those two spots.

We cook a lot of hispanic recipes, my wife is from PR and we can find a ton of items here a normal grocery store doesnt carry.

Always an interesting experience going to this store. I recommend a visit for anyone. Be prepared, there is produce and meats not found in usual stores and it can be something of an aromatic experience. Not saying anything bad, just an experience for newcomers to be aware of. If you want to look for ingredients for Caribbean, Asian, Middle-Eastern, or Latin- American cuisines, this is the place to look. Its also an interesting place to look around for new ideas and culinary adventures.

A fantastic source for multicultural grocery. You can find a wide assortment of produce and quite possibly the largest variety in seafood within a 25 mile radius. Indian, Korean, Latin, and many other cuisines have representation here. Its kept clean and tidy for a place that carries constant fresh meats and some live foods. Staff are helpful and kind, even with any infrequent language barriers. Look no further if you also want to find delicious treats from your childhood or from a distant land!

Very disrespectful management and poor customer service. Be aware that items show up on your receipt that you didnt purchase. When bringing that to the attention of management, they treat you like youre trying to get away with something. Also, some items were found to be beyond their expiration dates. I will not patronize this store again!!

Its not a bad place to shop but pay attention to food needing refrigeration. Bought a box of toufu, not expired, but found it had gone bad when cooking.

I can buy ingredients like ampalaya and talong for Filipino food for pretty cheap. Its always got fresh produce and a huge selection of international foods. If youre trying to cook a meal that reminds you of home or youre exploring new cultures through food, get your ingredients here.

Good location. Pretty large space so they have a lot of options. There is a seafood area as well but its not the best as in, you can see some of the fish are struggling because the water has not been cleaned in sometime. This seems to be the case for a lot of places like this. Still, they have a good selection of seafood as well as all types of other meats. No halal options though. Prices for Indian groceries and from other countries could be cheaper but it is convenient to have everything under the same roof.

Like that I can find items not in most groceries stores because they are popular.

You can get all type of Asian spices here. Kimchee is fantastic. They have a restaurant inside that is out of this world. The food is delicious better than any other big Korean restaurant.

This store always have everything I need and want. Produce and seafood are always fresh.

Great selection of international food with a large produce section. The Spanish music which greats you may confuse the fact that this is primarily an Asian market. Be prepared to stroll aisles of food products you may never have seen before, but be willing to try something new.There’s also a decent selection of Latin American foods and also some products I typically only find in small Italian markets.

This place is great! I eat lunch at Noodles and friends (the cafe inside) regularly. There is a wide variety on the menu and the food is great. They are friendly and will help you order if you are not sure what to get. The grocery section has everything you could dream of and more. Would highly recommend you check it out sometime.

New Grand Mart is a very nice international market with wide clean aisles and a good selection of products including fresh produce, fish and meats. There is also a wide selection of dry goods and beer and wine. There is a Korean-Chinese restaurant inside the store.

Really interesting variety of Asian, South American and other foods. I like going here for good meats and fresh veggies too. My favorite part is the choices of snacks from around the world. Amazing selection of sauces and spices for that authentic taste. The lines go quickly for fast check out.

My favorite place to get food from all over the world. Our family likes Korean, Indian, and Latin foods, and we can get it all here. Good prices on good quality produce too. The Korean restaurant inside the store is pretty good too. The only negative is the fish smell, but even my kids like to go to that end of the store and look at the live seafood.

This place has so many cool things that are difficult to find elsewhere. I got a bunch of ingredients to make some Asian recipes Ive been wanting to try. They carry white peach Calpico, too, which is my favorite. Just make sure you check the date on perishable goods, I found a couple things that had gone over, but otherwise was very happy with the selection.

Good shopping experience prior, but one of the workers are extremely disrespectful. When we asked the butcher for assistance, he first said he does not understand our request and cannot do it. After I found a manager to talk to him in Spanish, he scoffed and kicked the door before giving me a few samples of I wanted. I thanked him and asked for products to be done like the samples. When I thought he is finally going to provide service, he came back out telling that he cannot do it once again and quickly left. If what he said was true, how could he have processed the samples? The entire experience was very frustrating and our family felt disrespected. Our overall impression of New Grand is now soured. I hope you guys can provide some training so that customers will be treated like one.

I have been numerous times and feel this store has gone downhill in quality and up in prices. Mostly Latino products and staff. (I was going for specific Thai/Asian and staff was not eager to assist). The seafood market is wonderful however- lots of choices and the seafood mongers know what they are doing.

I was impressed how clean & organized it was, despite the inevitable fish smell. They carry a wide variety of products at reasonable prices. I did not use the facilities but my sister did & she said they were clean. The parking lot, shared with several other businesses, is well laid out.

This place is huge and has a wide range of international foods, as well as fresh vegetables and a nice little Korean grill.Heres an odd thing though...I came this visit specifically to get my dad some hot Asian mustard....not one jar in the entire store. We even went to Customer Service and they confirmed it!Even if it is not native to Asia/China, they carry a lot of strange crossover foods like Spam and McCormick spices as well as condiments.
