Nothing worth checking inside. There is a far better Asian market Tan A, which is only two minutes drive from this one. Just go there.
I was able to find everything I need and more. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. They have Thai ingredients I havent been able to find anywhere!! And the owners are so sweet and helpful!! We will be going back here A LOT!!!
They have lots of products you cant get anywhere else. My kids like Ramen noodles so I went to get some different kinds. Also lots of sweets and the staff helped me find a product my wife remembered from her childhood. I will definitely come back to try more things.
A favorite Asian market with a great selection of fresh, frozen, packaged ingredients. Always happy to help with recipe questions.
Found everything I needed and then some. The owners were very polite
Small family owned store, friendly staff with variety of selection of fresh produce, meat, seafood, live crabs ... If they can keep the store a little more organized, cleaner, they may be able to beat the bigger asian grocery store nearby.
Very help. The store clerk offered help as soon as we walked through the door to find the ingredients and products we were looking for. Will go back again!
Great selection, quality, and prices. Friendly and helpful owners. Far East Market is smaller than some other markets, but the selection is awesome. There are several items I buy here that are not available at the larger markets. They sell fresh meat and seafood (and vegan meat alternatives), but also a lot of produce, herbs/spices, tofu, tea/coffee, noodles, rice, sauces, seasonings, snacks, desserts, frozen dumplings, dishes, housewares, etc (Im probably forgetting a lot). My point is its a great place to shop!
It was great.
This place is awesome! We make a thai food and go here for all the ingredients! Snacks, treats, and personal care products are also a secret treasure here.
People very nice and friendly
Owner so friendly.
Try to calculate total before you check out if not you will end up pay a lot more!! my bill only $46 some how they told me $82. trust me be careful
When I lived in the area, I went here frequently. Now, not so much, but I still love it. The owner is helpful and friendly, and the selection is good.
This is a Chinese grocery store in Richmond. Its smaller than its bigger and more developed neighbor, Tan A, but it has friendlier employees so we tend to come here more often. They sell fresh pork belly, beef shanks, sometimes live crabs. Last time we were there, there was dragon fruit.
They have good variety, lower prices and friendly staff.
Has asian grocery with a quick in and out. No waiting in line.
Small business with good service and many interesting and some hard to find Asian items. Good source for things you need for home made Pho soup like spices, soup bones, and basil.
This is my favorite Asian market. Not as big as Tan-A, but the prices are much better, they always have what I need, and the people are MUCH friendlier. I go maybe once a month, and they know me, the know what I usually buy, and they ask how my kids are. I really love this place.
Small grocery store, safe place for stop by to have some ethnic food.frozen food, some fresh meat, fish. Decent prices.
Great place to find unique food
Always have ingredients that I need. Staff are OGs and are always friendly.
They had what I needed...
Fantastic Asian grocer!
My favorite Asian market. Not as big as Tan-A, but the prices are better, and the people are nicer.
Ive shopped at this market for many years. There used to be an abundance of asian and other ethnic markets in that little cul-de-sac, but over the decades, Ive honed it down to just Far East for my shopping. My children used to love to go, because they had so many things different from American markets and they knew what wonderful things we would make from the ingredients from Far East. Far East almost always has what I want. Although they arent overly chatty if you dont speak first, they are happy to help you find what you need, and even tweek your recipes to perfection. I visited this market for decades before moving to WV and even now, head there whenever Im in the area. I miss the convenience of being able to go often, but return whenever possible.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Got all the Asian products you can never find in the supermarket.
Awesome customer service and very helpful.
Shoppers beware...bought some veg.at $.2.25 a pound and they tried to rip me off at $3.75 a pound.Take your time and watch the weight and the price per pound. Look at the wt and price per pound on the scale.Do not let them rush you!!!
We ship from here because tyne owners are honest and friendly. Not to mention the fact that it doesnt smell as bad as other Asian markets
I like this place, used to go here years ago, hasnt changed. Friendly owner, tiny shelfs, lots of Asian food and even silverware, pots and pans.
