Never again!!! Id give 0 stars if I could. VERY poor communication and experience. My sunroof wouldnt close. The owner said give him a couple days for an estimate. After a few days, I called them everyday for 2 weeks, with no answer on problem or cost. Everyday the assistant said hell call you back later today. He never called back. Finally a month later I drove in to ask whats the problem?. The owner said he couldnt close it, but to fix is $500. Now $500 is not the problem, but if he couldnt communicate the diagnosis in a month, how can I feel confident with him fixing it? All the parts were just hanging down from the ceiling, so I asked him to put it back and Id come back later get the car. He said give him a couple of days. 2 weeks later everythings still hanging down. I said Ill just take it as is. They put dark fingerprints on the headliner and sun visor. Then I discover my car has been hit while there... of course no one knows anything. However the the fragments of my tail light had been swept up. The owner said hes not responsible. I agree. Hes Not responsible with communication. Hes not responsible with keeping his word. Theyre not responsible enough keep their hands and my headliner clean or my car from being damaged while in his care. I couldnt believe his smug attitude when I asked my questions, he acted like he did me a favor by taking a month for an estimate and nearly 2 months total for nothing. I found another company that charged $100 to close the roof... End of story.

Window tint. Linwood was very professional and provided a quick turnaround time. My mom and I both utilized his services and loved it! He even came in on his day off for me! Highly recommended for tint! His prices are extremely reasonable for the quality!

HD windshield on a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer replaced, great price, $190, took less than an hour, and they can come to you...if I ever need windshield work again, I will be back here....

Rear view mirror became unglued, I saw that they were close so I went by and had them re-glue the mirror back on the windshield. They charged me $50.00 for 15 minutes of work and a dab of glue. $50.00!!!! I would advise anyone to call or go elsewhere because the going rate is $25.00 to $35.00 at other places. Needless to say I will never go back to this clip joint.

The owner is very unprofessional and has very poor communication skills. I tried to support a black owned business but his attitude and demeanor sucked. I will be taking my issue to the court system. Save the headache and take your money where you will receive proper customer service and respect.Response to owner- I dont know what you are talking about. $249 for a 2013 Prius C 3 windshield replacement. They said it would take about an hour and it did. 48hrs afterwards we got 3 inches of rain in 20 minutes and the new windshield didn’t leak a drop. Tried and tested 👍🏻

I had service performed on my vehicle on 6/29/2018, at Windshield Express. I took the vehicle back on 7/10/2018, because I notice that my windshield wasnt repaired correctly. Upon arrival, the owner explained to me that because of the price he gave me, I should accept what was done. I expressed my displeasure cordially with the owner and he became very belligerent and elevated his voice using expletives. I immediately walked away and called the police. I contacted the owner again on 7/11/2018, requesting a refund in which refused. When we brought our minivan in, they expertly changed the windshield. Although they do not have mobile service, the minimal effort to bring your car to their shop is worth their extremely reasonable price!

So glad I found out about them! I was referred to them by several coworkers and it was a good choice. Safelite wanted to charge me 480 for a windshield repair. I saved more than half coming to windshield express! Walked in with no appointment an hour before closing and they got me right! There was a couple of cars ahead of me, but I was still out of the shop within the hour. They were so sweet! Especially the young lady at the front desk. I believe her dad was the one who fixed my windshield and he was just amazing and down to earth. Definitely recommend.

I wanted to wait for a while before I posted a review, especially after my windshield was subjected to a few rainstorms. Let me tell you: THESE FOLKS ARE GREAT! My windshield is just what the doctor ordered. I had about an 18 inch long crack in it. Called them up in the early afternoon and they got me in and out before 6 PM. That was great especially considering they were hoppin that day. They had a bunch of other customers to take care of. Why so many others? BECAUSE THEY WERE ABOUT $100 CHEAPER THAN MY NEXT LOWEST QUOTE! Ebony, the young lady that handles the phone there is wonderful and she does so much more than scheduling appointments. I highly recommend them. They did a good job for me at a great price. GET IN THERE AND GET THAT NASTY CRACK FIXED ON YOUR WINDSHIELD...and at the right price!!!!

Scheduled a 9:00 appointment with the owner for July 2(small crack in front windshield) and was told it would take 30min. Arrived at 8:57 and others were waiting. Signed in and stated to the owner that I had a 9:00 appt. The couple who signed in first(no appt.) also had a crack in their windshield. About 40min later the couples vehicle was ready. I waited another 10 minutes then walked outside. The owner was not around for the next 10min. so I asked the young guy if my car was ready. He said no but he could start on it. I stated that I had a 9:00 appt. so my window should have been fixed first. I left, called the owner to inquire about the purpose of an appointment if other vehicles are going to be fixed before mine. He stated that he was going to fix it but had to go somewhere, blah, blah, blah, NOT GOOD BUSINESS!! I was trying to support my own people.

I came into the shop this morning with a broken door. I couldnt open the door from the inside or outside. The owner fixed my door quickly and I was out within 2 hours. He even had the broken part I needed on site. I am very impressed with the quality of work provided.

I was in desperate need of my windshield replaced because a rock cracked my windshield. I called my insurance Geico to be exact, to see if it was no cost to me to replace it. They said it will cost $500 as that would be my deductible. I called safelite just as costly. I found windshield express and was forever grateful. The service was professional, the young lady was so helpful and the gentleman was fantastic. I highly recommended them for windshield replacement.

I was going to take my car to have the windshield done by a corporate shop when they told me they would have to order it and since its labor day weekend it wouldnt be able to get done till Tuesday. I reached out on social media and a friend told me about windshield Express on 360 in mecanicsvill so I called and the owner answered I told him what I needed he said he could do it on Tuesday also I told him well thank you but I needed it done now as my inspection need to get done as I am a uber/lyft driver and had to turn in my inspection by the 24th to keep driving he then said ok if I could bring him the car now he would do it I left Chesterfield and went straight there and like that I got a new windshield thank you so much linwood at windshield Express you now have my business for life.

I have had two windshields and one rear window installed here, no issues after installation, water tight and OEM quality, appointments are appreciated, usually takes about an hour depending on the work load for the day, hopefully will not need them again anytime soon since I pay out of pocket, but if I do I know they got me covered.

I called around for days and no one to get me in the same day. I called this place and they got in right in and I was out in less than an hour. The price was the best in town. The customer service was great and they were very helpful and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends.

I have used this place before for my van at their shop. However, this time I received mobile service. They were able to provide service the same day I called. My window was shattered. They cleaned up the shattered glass, vacuumed the area and replaced the window in a timely manner. It’s been 5 days and no issues with the window.

I called Windshield Express a day or so before and scheduled an appointment to replace a broken window on my truck. Even though I had an established appointment I still waited over an hour before I decided to leave. Their facility is okay. The waiting room was comfy but could have stood to be cleaned a little more thoroughly. What I gathered from my visit is that this is a family owned business and while I always love to see families in business as its something my family is working towards, I think this was one of the issues. Apparently the young lady with whom I scheduled my appointment is a sister or daughter who was being trained to work there, however according to the lady who helped me - she failed to document the appointment. There was also a little confusion as to whether I should have purchased the glass myself and just had them install it. The guy who was actually installing the glass was rude and dismissive. At one point while I waited I noticed he was spraying his tires on his truck, so when I inquired how much longer my wait would be, he suggested that I tend to my vehicle issue (my starter went bad) that looked more important than my windshield and then said that, he didnt know how long the wait would be because he had to wait for someone else to return to finish the vehicle he had been working on prior to my arrival. Long story short my window still needs replacing because I left dissatisfied with the level of service I wasnt receiving. I hope they get their business together because the price and convenience of their business to my home was great, but I didnt feel like there was any urgency to retain my business.Update: I am receiving hateful comments from a lady named Eboni Jones on Facebook as a result of this review. Apparently it is wrong to write a review even though I didn’t spend money with them. I tried to do business but my business wasn’t wanted as I was told to take care of my bigger car issue - the starter on my truck.

This Place is amazing. I recently got into a car accident and on result a had a messed up windshield and a few other damages. Since its against the law in Virginia to drive with a broken windshield I knew I had to get it fixed quickly. I was looking around for prices and quotes on Windshields and Windshield Express was the only place that gave me a reasonable and affordable price. As soon as I he told me the price I rushed there right away to get my windshield replaced. When I got there they immediately started working on my car and had me out of there in 45 minutes. The workers and the owner are very polite and are very precise with their work. I recommend Windshield Express to any and everyone that wants great quality work at affordable prices.

No start given. Horrible work. I would like a refund and go somewhere else replicable. This shop tinted the windows on my new vehicle. NONE of the window tints were congruent. All cut too short, even nicked my seat with the razor blade and thought I didnt discover. I didnt mention, didnt want to go through another headache. When I picked my car up it wouldnt start ON A NEW CAR. I figure they were joy listening to my radio all day while the tint dried. I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone! You get what you pay for.

Told the owner who did my windows I wanted legal tint and he didn’t do it. I knew nothing about what legal tint was until I got pulled over twice for it being to Dark. It’s suppose to be 50 front windows and 35 rear here in VA. Well he did 35 on both and told me he wouldn’t change it unless I paid him. Horrible customer service. Was gonna bring him another car to do but since he had a attitude I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

I would have given it 5 stars based on great work and what I thought was friendly staff. My husband called and got a quote for a windshield however when I got there to get my windshield put in they charged me 100 bucks more than the quote. When my husband called to ask why the lady at the desk told him because I did not tell them I had a quote . So apparently if u call and get a price it is lower but a lot than if u walk in the door. What kinda mess is that. She was rude on the phone when he called and he said that e would take his business elsewhere and she said I dont care . Why would u not care about customers that would send you more customers. Didnt even offer to make it right. How can you add a $100 mark up on a product. Will not be going back here !!!

From my Honda to both of my Saturns and the three fords that I had over the years the work that has been nothing short or OUTSTANDING. The customer service is cool. I an NOT happy at all with their quality of work and would never return there or recommend them to do a windshield replacement for others !!!! The part on the car i bought needed to be replaced and the one onthe car had to be removed to replace the windshield anyway . I bought it to your attention that the gasket that you installed was part of the windshied was not flush to the body of the car as it should be ad you just put more glue to hold it down, but it didnt hold . Since then I was called by the woman who was very rude and I have gotten many lying and nasty text from the installer . Window Express is the WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH ! ! ! !

Very unprofessional. Had to go back because windshield was leaking. Had my passenger floor soaked. Then 2 days later had to return because they messed up my remote starter on car. Get off work early twice to catch the owner because the workers cant help you. He says he didnt touch remote starter. But my remote antenna was hanging out car when I picked it up. His workers smoking weed in shop while customers wait. DONT GO THERE. GO SO EPLACE ELSE. ANY PROBLEM THAT COMES FROM HIS WORK HE SAYS WAS PRE-EXISTING.
