Took over a month to send me the title to my new car. Had to drive around for for a few days with an expired temporary plate. Made multiple phone calls in the weeks leading up to my expiration date and I kept getting run around to different staff with nobody returning my calls. I eventually got the title issue resolved, but I’ve been waiting 3 days for someone to call me back about a minor mechanical issue after several prior calls with no one following up. Once they have your money, they are the most unhelpful people you can imagine.
Went here to get a fob for my Ford expedition. Great and quick service. Got my truck almost a year ago with just a key and they were able to get me set up and now have a fob. I had been having to go around and manually lock every door because my inside lock buttons didnt work. Very good and nice service!

I’ve gone to Wetzel Ford, not only once but twice this year for my car purchases. Both of my experiences have been fantastic. My car was totaled Monday in an auto accident. I reached out to Brian Wier who had helped me finance my first car back in March and in less than a week he had me in another car. I stopped in to get an admin key made for my Ford transit. I did not have an appointment.The building, service & waiting area were spotlessly clean & well appointed.I spoke with the service technician about my service need. He was very friendly, courteous & polite. He got me set up to have the service performed immediately (again, I did not have an appointment). The 3 service personnel I interacted with were all fantastic.My service was performed in about 1 hour & I was out the door. Very happy with the service & professionalism of all involved with my vehicle.I cant say enough about the high level of service I was given.I will be back again if I am in need of service.By the way, I have to drive an hour to get here. My alternator died 5 miles before the OH/IN border and I called Wetzel Ford in desperation. Matt (the service manager I believe) said they were fully booked for the day but would try & shoehorn me in. I pulled into the lot and they had a tech on my truck in 5 minutes. A little over an hour later I was back on the road. These folks went well out of their way to help a traveler get back on the road and I really appreciate it. Ill start by saying friendly staff and clean building are the only positives I have about this experience.On July 6, we dropped off my Ford Edge due to an unknown issue. It is now July 24. We picked up the car because they are unable to figure out what is wrong with it. We paid $360 for 0 progress. Hopped in the car to leave, dead battery. They jumped the vehicle and let me know I would need to get gas. Gas tank read 0 miles to Empty.Extremely disappointed with how this experience went and will likely not return.

My husband and I had a bad experience with a local dealership that resulted in us needing to purchase a new vehicle. I was very upset by the whole situation and honestly did not want to talk to a different dealership, afraid of the same result. We met with Triston and he took great care of us! During the Labor Day weekend we were attending an event in Richmond, when our 2016 Transit Connect, had certain electrical sensors malfunction. It left us with a nonworking speedometer and some other issues. The Service Department was so kind and helpful, they did not have the part, but took one off an existing vehicle to repair ours. We were in and out in no time. Later on that evening, the same thing happened to our vehicle again. We called the Service Department early the next morning and they were not sure if they would be able to get us worked in. They closed at Noon and only had 2 Mechanics on Saturday. My Husband went early and received the same courteous treatment and it was determined that a second sensor had malfunctioned. So once again they replaced the part off an existing vehicle. We got a flat tire on our drive from Ohio to Illinois on a Sunday. We pulled into the nearby Wetzel Auto Ford dealership hoping that they would be open, but they were closed because it is a Sunday. The manager saw us on his security camera at home and came over to check on us. The spare was on the car at this point. He asked us how far we were going, and we told him 250 miles. He told us that they are really only meant to get you off the highway to an auto shop. Dexter drove over to a nearby tire shop to get us the parts we needed to patch/plug our current tire. Thank you so much for your exceptional customer service and going above and beyond what is expected. A perfect example of Midwest hospitality. We are so thankful to be part of the Ford family!!! We had a great experiencing trading our truck in for a newer model. Brian set up an appointment and had the truck ready for a test drive the same day. He did not pressure us at all and the dealership worked with the price and we bought a 2017 for the price of a 2014 that we were looking at in Columbus, OH. I would recommend checking out this dealership and working with Brian if you want to get a great deal with no pressure sales.
Its a great, reliable place to get work done. They have a very nice waiting area with vending machines and a coffee machine while you wait. It doesnt take forever to get what you need done, and they are always very polite. I havent had a bad experience yet and Ive been going here for three years.

A little over three weeks ago, I submitted a credit approval app for Wetzel under the Fresh Start Credit Recovery Program. I received an email letting me know I was approved and then was contacted by a very nice, helpful salesman. We drove to Richmond on a Saturday to look at the vehicles, and then was taken over to Holly, who handles the special financing circumstances. Because it was on a Saturday, she said that she would work on contacting the banks they use on Monday so that we could begin finding a vehicle that we qualify for. It has been an absolute nightmare since then. If you are looking for the run around, they get 5 stars in that department. We were constantly having to contact her for follow ups. She didnt return phone calls, rarely replied to emails, and we could tell she had absolutely NO interest in helping us. This went on for 3 weeks. At one point, we called in and spoke to another finance officer while she was gone, and he said we were approved for $21,000 and hed have Holly contact us the following day so we could narrow down the vehicles that fell within that range. However, when Holly finally did pick up when we called, she said she was having a hard time getting us approved. THEN, after 3 weeks, she sends an email and says that my income is too low. I do not have low income. If this was truly the situation, then why was I not just told that upfront instead of wasting my time for the past three weeks. This was horrible customer service.

They think since they own all the dealerships in town except Toyota they can jack up there prices and not deal with people. I want to thank them for not agreeing to our price. We went out of town about an hour away and found the same truck a year newer and $4000 cheaper.

The service department at Wetzel Ford was a lifesaver! On new years weekend, we were on our way from Indy to Columbus to visit family. On the interstate, the handling became very erratic and the car was shuttering side to side. We had just had service done on the car including an alignment. We luckily got off the interstate just as it was getting really bad and scarry to drive. We got to Wetzel 3 hours before closing and they were able to squeeze us in. They got the car on the alignment rack within 15 min of getting the keys. It turns out the alignment was completely out and the car was getting pushed by the rear wheels being out of alignment. The other service center obviously did not tighten a bolt or messed something up completely. We were in and out in an hour and a half on a holiday weekend! Matt and the rest of the service team were excellent. We highly recommend Wetzel for anyone interested in quality service and willing to help make something right. Before we left, both the technician and I test drove to car to make sure everything was 100% ok before getting back on the interstate with our new born child. THANK YOU!

Should be called Weasel Ford. Drove over an hour to look at a vehicle and it wasnt even the same as listed online. Sales Manager Unwilling to negotiate on used car prices. Tried to sell me a car marked up over 3k w/o negotiations. Thank God i walked! Found a better deal elsewhere.

I have not even been here and I am still ablown away by the service. Let me fill you in. My sister and brother in law got a flat tire and stopped to see if the service center was open on a Sunday-- the 23rd of December. Obviously it was not open. But how can a pair of out of towners get a flat on a holiday weekend fixed? There was no way they could make the rest of the trip home for Christmas on a spare tire, let alone the return trip home after. Dexter saw them on a security camera and dropped in to check on them, and even found a way to get the tire fixed up and send them on their way. I dont know of anyone who has done this before, and Im certainly already telling everyone I know about the kindness and help shown to my little sister. Thank you! Now thats am auto dealer I would come to buy a car from.
Don’t ask for information up front. They are not very forthcoming. Wasted a lot of time driving to the dealership for nothing. That’s an hour I will never get back. I knew better before I even went in. Lesson learned the hard way.

Ive been to this place pretty often. Its crazy to me how you are treated based on appearance. I was here two months ago looking at red Camaro. Which was over price to begin with and was traded in so I know dealership didnt have that much in it. So i pull up in Buick century lol and Im 18 years old. Not dressed to well. I felt I got less customer service because of this i had to go out of my way to get assistance. Crazy thing is I offered 12k cash which isnt bad considering the state of the vehicle. But they treated me as if I didnt have that kind of money. So I came into the dealership today with my newer car I got which is Infiniti g37 and much newer. Dressed alot better too. And I got services right away this time. And the guy was nice and of course helped me. Cause I was looking into this truck. Good guy and everything but the dealership doesnt budge on pricing at all. Or they take me as a joke. I was treated very differently when I was in both times. Its crazy how a person appearance makes such a difference. I do not recommend buying from this place in less the price fits well because they are not going to budge on pricing. Good luck

Let me tell you I just bought a car last Friday September 6th 2019 from Wetzel Ford and they made a promise to schedule my car to get in to get the second hand tint taken off and they still havent done that and now the radiator is leaking and its only Wednesday. So ridiculous. I will probably never buy a car from them again.

Drove a very long way to look at a vehicle I found on the internet. The van had water leaking though the roof, through a shoddy caulking job. Would have been nice to know this before I drove all the way there. Not recommended!!!
Had nothing but an excellent experience buying my vehicle from Anthony Sutton. I flew in from Connecticut, but not before my first flight was overboooked, wasnt able to get out that day, next flight was cancelled because of the weather, and finally the third day I did make it, however the planes anti ice valve failed and they had to fix it there and then. Through it alll Anthony was very patient with the obstacles thrown in our way, and I did finally make it out there and purchased the vehicle. All in all, it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

Including promising to provide the factory floor mats BUT 2 payments into the deal no floor mats!! short of one return call a week ago that I never heard from again?? Long story short make sure you get every thing your promised before you sign the paper work! P.s. things are literally falling off my truck..30.000.00 down the drain!
