We went all over Houston looking for flooring and installation services. We were so fortunate to find Ideal Carpet and Flooring in Richmond. Rueben and Arnold could not have been more helpful. We decided to replace 1200 square feet of flooring. The process was stress free, the workmanship was perfection and my floors look amazing. The old floors were torn out in one day and the workers took extreme measures to clean-up everything. The team at Ideal was spot on. They showed up on time when they said they would. They explained everything as they were doing it. The floor is amazing looking and flawlessly installed. Very professional install crew and they actually knocked out 1700 square feet in 2 days including moving all of the furniture. When they left everything was cleaned up and put away. I would use Ideal over and over for my flooring needs.

Going to Ideal Carpet and Flooring was the best decision I’ve made in 2021. Arnold and Ruben were helpful. They made the process very easy. Then last week Jericho and his son Darko showed up to begin installing my new amazing floors. These two are such a talented team. I don’t even have words good enough to describe how great they were. They were polite, cautious, kept things clean somehow, fast, and just really good at what they do. I’m very happy with Ideal Carpet and Flooring. If only the rest of my house looked as good as the floors. Oh and they also do financing if needed.

Ideal Carpet & Flooring replaced the flooring in several of our rooms downstairs - MBR, family, foyer, study & dining - with Anderson engineered hardwood. Working with Ruben and Arnold was so easy, and they were very accommodating with our taking samples home so we could pick the right floor for our house. Picking the right floor is just part of the process, and Ernard did a fantastic job installing the floor (how many floor places have the same guy installing floors for 20 years?). From moving the heavy furniture, removing the old floors, keeping the house clean and to placing the furniture back again, the installation team were great. Its very easy to recommend Ideal Carpet & Flooring to anyone thinking about upgrading or updating their floors.

These folks were amazing. Once here they worked straight through to ensure a quick exact install of our carpeting made more difficult because of the pattern we chose. One of the added incentives to go with Ideal Carpeting - they moved all of the furniture! Would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks.

Very pleasant experience working with Ideal Carpet. From walking into the store and bringing samples home to the installation was a breeze. They made the whole process so easy. The installers went above and beyond my expectations, even fixing a squeaky floor.

We wanted to replace the carpet in our bedroom with the same type of wood that is in our living room. First of all, they had the EXACT match!!!! I was so excited. Secondly, I thought it would take many days to complete. Boy was I wrong. Two days, and it was done to perfection. Lastly, I thought I would come home and have to clean dust and windows after the installation, but I was wrong again. I came home to a showroom ready appearance! My bedroom looked and smelled amazing. The workmanship and manner in which the entire installation occurred was flawless. Thank you to Ernad and his helper! I feel like I am sleeping in a new home! Was referred to Ideal by my father in law after he used them for his floors. Ruben and Arnold are very polite and professional. They did a great job at a very fair price. Two days after placing our deposit the material was in and old floors were already demolished. Need the floors done in less than a week and they met our tight window. There were a couple of over looks like a couple of shoe molding not secured but once we identified them and let the installers know they came out immediately and corrected everything. Overall my wife and I are very satisfied and will use them in the future and recommend them!

From start to finish, this was a great experience. We replaced the carpet in our living with wood. The office staff showed my wife and I all the options and let us take home several samples. They came and measured quickly and were in and out all while practicing COVID safety/distancing. Quote was reasonable and not a penny over what they said it would be. Ideal carpet and floors deserves six stars. Five years ago they did our ceramic tile floors. Total perfection and many compliments over the years. We just recently returned to have granite, backsplash, and carpet replaced in bedrooms and stairs. I had a Christmas party coming up and Ruben worked hard getting this job completed before the party.
