The Little House Green Grocery has an excellent selection of local RVA products! Their staff is so helpful and always give great recommendations on new products.

Has a different vibe from when i used to go here. i like having locally sourced grocery items, though the prices here still just feel unreasonably high. that was one thing, but coupled with the fact that things are broken and the new owners just did not seem as welcoming, kind, or open as the previous one, i’m not sure if i will be returning.

- Place is okay .. eveytime I come no one ever greets or says hello. Today the lady had me bag the items myself when they normally just do it. Also she kept following me through the store. So if your black dont come here.

This place is a gem! Blood oranges, black radishes, purple sweet potatoes, freshly local grown cilantro and kale. And one of my favorites, savory sweet miso caramels.These pictures dont really do it justice. And the staff are uber knowledgeable and friendly. I wish it were a bit closer to where I live!

This store is small but has just about everything you might need. It specializes in locally produced foods and items. Im really looking forward to coming back here again.

Clean and well organized with a small selection of products that arent easy to find in regular grocery stores. The sales associates are kind, too.I had to take off a few stars because I drove across town (30 minutes) to get bombolini pasta from here. I was so excited until I realized that one of the bags (fusilli) I bought expired in 2019... which means that pasta is at least 2-3 years old. It was gross, stale, and chewy :( The other bag (herb linguini) didnt expire until 2021 and it was fantastic, tasted just like homemade pasta.So, this place is great, but please check expiration dates!

Awesome local green grocer right in my neighborhood. Good selection for a small footprint store. Bought great Billy Bread -- still a bit warm! Some machecho cheese, organic molasses, and organic chicken were among my other buys. Very friendly staff. Fun store.

I have always enjoyed visiting this shop. Its convenience is what makes it great. I go for fresh, locally harvested fruits and vegetables. It is my favorite place to find those special ingredients for a dish to impress. Its not a place to go for cheap food. It is all local and sustainable items.

Great little grocery store. Chocked full of local produce, meat, beer, you name it. Super friendly staff too. They even have fun discounts if you bring back used jars and lend tote bags to carry your groceries.

I live in Southside, but I make a point to visit at least once a week. What got me started was the apples from Piney Rivers, VA - so juicy and flavorful that they have never made it into a pie. Im also a fan of their locally sourced breads (Sub Rosa, people! Billy Bread! Flour Garden!), pastas, and sweet treats. Not Costco pricing, but fair, especially considering your dollars are going back into Virginian pockets. And Costco has never, ever made me this happy.

Lots of yummy, local options for such a small grocer. Very friendly staff. Pricier than larger grocers but you get what you pay for (and youre not paying some CEOs salary). GREAT keto options, too. Im there at least once a week.

Its absolutely lovely! The selection is great, the staff is great, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend. :-)

Sarah greeted us the moment we stepped in. We had a question about the the price for the hunny and she gave us three different prices. We had a great experience here. Jean was very pleasent as well. They have a lot of local produce. We bought some seeweed which was delicious.

I bought bread from here which was still warm from the oven. Freshest food in Northside.
