I took my 2 pistols to Brotherton Smith to have cleaned and the rust removed. He did a wonderful job! They had not been cleaned in probably 30 years or more, and now they look brand new. I highly recommend!

Taylor started with a cerakote job on an LCP 2 which turned out great. Then I took an old rifle to be restored and he turned out to be a true artist.

If you want someone that knows the history and details of your gun, Taylor is very skilled. I had a gun belonging to my father, his first gun as a boy. Taylor was able to give quite a few details about where it was made and the quality. He is excellent at appraising. I believe he is better than most because his skill set is on superb repair of your firearm and an incredible knowledge base on its features and history. He isn’t looking to buy your gun from you to resale. So he will not quote you low but with hands on experience and an education from probably the finest gunsmith college in the nation. Excellent in his repair work and explanation for me and a very professionally done appraisal.

Was looking for a place to have my firearms serviced and found Brotherton Just 2 miles from my home. Boy was I lucky! Took a Mossberg shotgun and a semi-automatic 25 for a safety check. Taylor installed a wilson combat bullet proof ambi safety in my kimber 1911 he did a great job and had it done in half the time he quoted me.Great guy that does great work I will be using him for All my future gun smith work

Rather new to guns and my first experience working with anything other than an off-the-shelf rifle, which was intimidating. Taylor listened to what I was hoping to use my rifle for and gave me custom upgrades I thought I could only dream of within my budget. Took the time to explain all the capabilities I now have and made sure I understand, even went as far as connecting me with hard to find (now) ammo suppliers and had the manufacturer fix my hardshell rifle case that I did not even buy from him. Impressively capable and comfortable to work with.

Taylor does an outstanding job and very reasonably priced. I needed a sight post installed on an AR-15 Barrel, and it turned out great. Will definitely go to Taylor for any gunsmith work in the future.

He is awesome, I called and described the issue with my Tarus Judge. Over the phone he was able to conclude what was wrong with my gun. Took it to his shop and he was able to fix in under 15 minutes. If any issues with any other guns I own, he will definitely be my first call.

Taylor performed some excellent work on my 1911 trigger. It breaks smoother than any I have tried before! He also brought my very used and beat up pump shotgun back from the dead to cycle smooth as silk, good for me but bad for birds. I will be sending him my bolt action .308 for a few upgrades, including a carbon barrel, this spring.

After purchasing a used Italian made competition pistol(Tanfoilo) off the internet,I found multiple issues with the gun. I talked to Taylor and to my surprise he was knowledgeable of the gun. Excellent work on a sxs 28 ga. Had this gun redone a few years ago and was very dissatisfied with the work of another gunsmith. My dad found Brotherton Smith and they stripped and reblued this gun and it looks better than it did when it was new. Absolutely would recommend them for any gunsmithing needs.
